I noticed the last few times we've been in their styling changed - no more punch cards on the walls, a cleaner aesthetic. But didn't realize it was under new ownership as the drinks hadn't changed at all. They do now have an order tablet which I'm usually a big proponent of, but this tablet cuts out any and all interaction or service, as they don't greet you or bring out your drink to you as the old owners did. Our drinks were sitting on the counter almost magically after another customer let us know they were there. The drink itself was largely the same with almost no differences to it, and the seating is exactly the same, so all in all, it's basically the exact same boba spot - just a little less friendly. read more

Saw this as a nearby boba place and decided to give it a try with friends. We tried different menu items but unfortunately found most of them a bit odd. Matcha Latte: The texture/quality was powdery, and it had a flavor reminiscent of watermelon. Hojicha Tea: While I could taste the hojicha, it tasted a bit watered down and lacked the rich, toasty flavor I hoped for. Curly Fries: These were soft with an interesting flavor and not hitting the texture that I expect. I came here July 4th right at around 2:45 and ordered two drinks. One of them was a strawberry green tea with lychee jelly. They proceeded to give me the drink with boba so we asked for the lychee jelly. The young guy working said he couldn't take the boba out and he wasn't sure what to do. I asked "can you remake it the way I ordered?" The young girl behind the counter was visibly irritated, and proceeded to make me a plain green tea. I then repeated that this was once again, not what was ordered. They then started laughing and took the tea to the back where we couldn't see. He came back and said all laughing "I made sure there's strawberry flavoring on there for you now." I know for a fact they took it behind to spit in the drink. At this point I obviously don't feel comfortable drinking my beverage and the were giving me a hard time for wanting what I ordered to be made correctly. I'm not sure what the issue was but I am beyond upset. UPDATE: As reflected in the owner's response, they stated that they reviewed the security footage and determined that this incident did not occur. However, I can only speak to my personal experience, and the events described in my review are an accurate account of what happened during our visit. We left the establishment genuinely confused and disappointed by our interaction with the staff. I also find the timeline difficult to understand. My review was posted around 10:00 p.m. on July 5, and the owner's response appeared at July 6th 12:33 a.m., stating that they had already spoken with the employees and reviewed the security footage. Given that the business was closed at that time, and it was very late at night, it seems highly unlikely that both of those steps could have been completed so quickly. The location is close enough to broadway plaza without having to park in the broadway plaza parking garage, since it's attached to a different parking garage, making parking convenient. Upon arriving, we were immediately greeted with friendly hello's. The shop itself is cute and modern. The seating is very "community-style" with couches and tables facing each other, emphasizing the "come and stay a while" vibe. I ordered a passion fruit green tea and my husband ordered the assam brown sugar milk tea. After submitting our order on the kiosk, I completely forgot to change the ice and sweetness level of my drink to 50%, but the owner was very sweet and made me a new drink with my preferences for free, even though it was my fault! What great service! Overall, we appreciated how accommodating the staff was and the drinks were refreshing and well made. We will be back when we're out shopping in the area again! read more

I wanted to like this place because the costumer service is good and this is a new boba place in Walnut Creek. I ordered Okinawa Milk Tea. As you can see, It's too plain and it is not even close with the picture you see in the kiosk or the menu. It tasted like "Kopiko" coffee candy. Its tooooo sweet. Note - I asked for 25% sweet as I'm very particular with my sugar level. I dont taste the tea, just this sweet sugar water. Sorry but i wont be coming back and don't recommend. read more

Best ube milk tea I've ever had -- super fresh and made in-house. Tried the taro milk tea too which was creamy, not too sweet, and just as good! Love that it's a family-owned small business. I walked in during a rush and the girl working was really sweet and moved fast even though she was by herself. It's also right by the Broadway Plaza outdoor mall, so it's an easy stop while shopping. I inquired about it thinking it was a mistake and they forgot my boba but they said it costs extra. With the salted cream and boba it wouldve been about $9 for a drink total which is pretty steep, but my suggestion would be to fix the menu and take out that phrase to not mislead others. read more
