If you haven't tried infrared saunas, you're truly missing out! While the heat can be intense, you feel so good afterwards! I come right after a workout and it's really helped with post workout recovery. I use the time in the sauna to stretch out my legs and my hamstrings have been thanking me! Having Netflix to distract you during the session is also super helpful and I can usually get through at least one episode of a show while I sweat, which does make the time go by quicker! Highly recommend if you're looking to try the infrared sauna for the first time, or if you're looking for a little post workout recovery time! Be prepared to sweat! read more

I've been using the infrared saunas for years now at the Body Lab Orange. I love the facilities and I always feel fantastic after. I discussed trying a bespoke facial with the owner, Amy. I did the sauna first and then straight into my facial with her. Wow was it a transcendent experience! The facial was 1.5 hours and she did an extensive face and neck massage (which felt heavenly) extractions, microcurrent and other goodies. She is an awesome aesthetician and such a sweet person. I booked their infrared sauna room, which comes with Netflix, Hulu..( all the shows you need to pass by the 40 minutes of heat). They also have a separate room for you to shower (no soap or shampoo provided though, just the shower - which is already a nice addition compared to other places). You have a timer inside the room to tell you when your 40 minutes is over, however you get that room for exactly an hour. FYI , if you come late, it will eat into your one hour time. The sauna is great! Very relaxing and clean. Employee and front desk situation needs improvement. My last session left me with a bad taste in my mouth due to the rudeness of the front desk employee. She said I was allowed to be in the sauna for 40 minutes instead of the hour I technically had. She said there was "a note on my account that I do not leave the sauna on time". First off, no one had ever explained any policies to me in my previous 3 sessions. I knew the sessions were an hour long but apparently you only have the room for strictly one hour. Employees should explain everything on your first visit so you can be an informed customer. I felt disrespected as a customer and I will likely not continue to frequent this business due to the lack of basic customer service. read more

recently visited The Body Lab and wanted to express my gratitude for the informative and helpful attitude of the man who checked me in. Hence the two stars However, I was disappointed with the cleanliness of the sauna and the water station, as well as the behavior of the lady who checked me out. Upon entering the sauna, I noticed that there was dust inside, which detracted from the relaxing experience of the sauna. Additionally, the water station was very grimy, which made it difficult for me to refill my water bottle. These issues did not reflect the level of care and cleanliness that I would expect from your establishment. Lastly, the woman who checked me out had a very poor attitude. When I did not take the remote out of the sauna, she spoke to me in a very unfriendly tone. She also did not seem to have the same level of courteousness and professionalism that I had experienced from the man who checked me in. read more

I absolutely love this place! From the moment you walk in the door you feel extremely welcome and the girls who work here are knowledgeable and helpful. I made an appointment ahead of my visit and I'm glad I did. It seems like they can get busy during certain times of the day. The saunas are amazing and leave you feeling super healthy and relaxed. You have your own room with a large flat screen TV, cool scented washcloths and water to drink. The rooms are so cozy and the saunas have a control that allows you to choose your own lighting based on your needs. There are speakers inside the sauna so you can hear the TV - depending on what you like you can watch a TV show or music videos. Having that entertainment enables you to spend more time in the sauna because you're definitely distracted. I appreciate how vigilant they are with the cleaning and sanitizing since Covid has started. The rooms and saunas are absolutely immaculate. They also have a shower in case you need to rinse off after your session. Regardless or not of whether you are a fan of saunas, give The Body Lab an opportunity because they will definitely change your mind. read more

Omg the sweet, perky, friendly girl who worked on Monday 5/6 was amazing. Finally tried out the Salt therapy room. Been battling w cough/sinus/congestion all sorts of hot mess for a bit now. My friend called in for an appointment, luckily we got one towards the end of the evening. Check in was a breeze. Took a quick picture with their hot pink neon sign. The place is clean and tidy. Got showed what other features they offer, they even have a dual sauna so you can sweat a friend. There's a TV in each room so your time goes by quickly. For the salt therapy room there's two lounge chairs, plus tv. There's a mini locker to put your clothes in. Better skin exposure the better it works. No shoes inside as they get salty. You can take your phone if you like. She explained she was going to add salt into the generator and we just sit back and relax. When times up she'll knock on the door to let us know. The whole experience was refreshing and easy. You come out in a haze of salt. You didn't even realize, but slowly as the generator is working you can even slightly taste it. Excited to try it again. Booked an appointment on 4/13 and the front desk lady was very confused about what credits we still had on our account. She was very rude and seemed bothered that we were even there. She ended up finding the credits and we did our 2 person Sauna session. We clarified how many credits we still have left and went home. Called in today 4/24 to book again and come to find out there is a note on our account that we can no longer be booked because we were making her feel uncomfortable and there were witnesses and the police were almost called. NEWS TO US! It's amazing that a business would treat customers this way. According to the condescending guy on the phone call today, there's surveillance footage all over the shop. I'd love the owner to post it. Unreal experience. I would never go here again no matter what happens, but the most alarming thing is that these guys are accusing us of something pretty serious. I've heard so much about the infrared saunas and have always wanted to try it - Groupon had a deal so I ended up buying a package to test it out. This location is so cute, incredibly clean and so comfy. Everything is laid out neatly and there are cute little cards that explain what each light means and what it treats, for a newbie such as myself, that was much appreciated! I was able to go in, watch my favorite movie and sweat all the toxins out without being miserable because they design everything for comfort. Major Bonus: Cold eucalyptus towels ready for you as soon as you end your session. The gals are the sweetest and I just adore this place! I intend on purchasing more packages because the infrared saunas provide so many benefits! The only downside is...they're so far from me. I purchased the unlimited pass for my first week for $45.00. My second day in, I broke my ankle and called to leave them a voicemail to see if we could pause the week since I was told to avoid any hot temperatures, saunas, etc. with my cast. I did not hear back which was understandable. I then called the store and inquired if I could pause the membership a couple days later since other places such as my gym, chiropractor etc. let you pause when you cannot use the amenities for health reasons. Unfortunately, I was told I already was given a great deal because $45.00 for a week is already a great deal that they do for all of their customers. Basically, they lucked out that I got injured! They did not offer to reinstate the remaining 5 days when I feel better. Unfortunately, my fiance and I were both planning on getting a silver monthly membership and now we will go with another option. All in all, it was an okay experience but if we are going to pay a monthly membership at a small business, we also want to feel like they care about their customers and are flexible. read more

I'm in love with their saunas! I came after work and it was soo relaxing. I love that I get my own private room with a sauna inside. They provide towels and showers as well as 2 chilled peppermint or eucalyptus towels to use during/after the sauna. I never tried infrared saunas before, but it's wayyy better than electric or steam. I never sweated so much and it felt great. My feet were sore from work and I could feel the heat gently soothing them. I did the orange setting and I genuinely felt a mental and physical improvement; hence why I signed up for the Silver membership. The option of getting my sessions in after work, they close at 7 pm every night, was a huge plus. I'm not a person who naturally sweats a lot so I wiped down with one of the cold towels after my session and didn't leave feeling disgusted. Wow!! 1st of all Diana who was working at the time was the kindest & most helpful person. My husband and I came for Infared Sauna sessions followed by halotherapies (which you can do as a couple/pair here, so nice). She showed us around & thoroughly explained everything we needed to know. The infrared sauna was amazing & the halotherapy cleared up my sinuses! The Body Lab is fabulous! As an obvious FYI detox symptoms are normal & make sure you hydrate before, during + after any Sauna session. I live a pretty healthy lifestyle but I have a *very* sensitive constitution and did feel like hot trash the evening after my session even though I was drinking all the spring water & coconut water. I felt sweaty+achey that night BUT woke up feeling so refreshed. I'm convinced the infrared sauna helped me deeply detox & can't wait to go back for more. Began when I called Diana to schedule an appt and she was so kind and helpful and answered any questions I had prior to my appt. Went in and loved how quiet and peaceful the little studio is. After filling out the surveys, I was promptly escorted to my room. She also provided me w 1 of each of a eucalyptus and peppermint towel. As for the session, I ABSOLUTELY LOVED. I've been having back pain and the sauna helped with that and I feel so rejuvenated it's insane. Didn't think I'd sweat that much. It was relaxing to Netflix and just watch in peace.
