I've been to Boiling House a few times and they are consistently good. I went over the weekend for my bday and got the Snow and Shrimp meal with the crab fried rice. I've previously gotten the garlic noodles and they're also very good. The rice was fluffy and had a nice amount of crab and mussels in it and it was well seasoned. The seafood boil was good, I'm not too much of a fan of seafood boil seasoning overall so I got it on the side and was glad I did. I was able to taste it without it overpowering my whole meal. Our server was courteous and attentive as well. I will keep coming back. I'd like to try more items next time. It's a BYOB so don't forget your bottle.

The restaurant and the lil section it's in is super cute--with a few restaurants and shops... The food could've been a lil more flavorful imo, but it was ok... Pricing was kinda high, as there are other places with the same concept, that are cheaper... They're BYOB too, so that's cool... Our server was nice and attentive, no complaints there at all. I probably wouldn't return as there are too many other places in the area like this with more flavorful crabs and better pricing. Tip: you have to get the boiling house seasoning (combo of Cajun, old bay, lemon pepper, and garlic) or else you won't have really any seasoning or juices in your bag (see the snow crab pic with old bay only seasoning) Overall 5/10

Good food prices is high but food is good. Service is always good and quick. Definitely a place I would recommend and keep coming back to.

Sea Festival (menu say feeds 3-4). 5 of us shared it with the two apps.

Cozy BYO place in Cherry Hill shopping Plaza. Attentive service and delicious seafood boil. 5 of us shared the flavorful garlic noodles, seafood fried rice and sea festival. The bread was warm and tasty and you can request extra sauce if needed. Make sure to dip into the bottom of the bowl to get the most flavor. You get a bib and plastic gloves to stay clean. There's a chg convenient hand wash station that's not inside restroom. Prices are as expected for the cost of seafood. We went for a birthday and at the end of the meal the waitstaff brought out a slice of cheesecake and candle and sang. At least 4 other tables also had a birthday celebration whole we were there.

I have to start with the customer service. Everyone was friendly and helpful with a smile. I was/ am (because I am still here) very impressed. The food came out extremely fast. And the ambiance was perfect.

I wanted to take my wife out for Valentines Day but I knew if I went the day of, every place would be packed, so I went the day after. The place was pretty empty. Not sure if it was due to the day after Valentines Day or what but the place is nice. It's your typical seafood broil place. Bibs, napkins, paper tablecloth, etc. Seafood with Obay, garlic butter, etc is all the same to me. I would say this place is a bit pricey for what you get. One potatoe and one corn, come on. $1.50 for one egg added, really? Overall the place and staff are nice and food is good. Nothing special. Your typical seafood broil spot.

This was my meal, the Lobster was a little over cooked but had a great taste

The food is great! I first try on my nice house then I said I need to go and try fresh out there because honestly if food tastes good as take out is amazing in the restaurant and let's say I was not disappointed it was just at I was I was expecting and something more. The service is really great and professional very helpful. The ambience is good for all family, friends and couples, I'm in love with the service, place and staff and food. Absolutely I will come back for more real soon.

The mussel noodle dish at The Boiling House is a culinary delight! Fresh, plump mussels are perfectly cooked and paired with tender noodles in a rich, flavorful sauce. The balance of garlic, white wine, and cream is spot on. A must-try for seafood lovers--easily five stars! It was a special this week. Hoping they add it to the menu!

My friend and I had a reservation the other night at 7:30. The restaurant looked packed. We checked in and hung out in the little waiting area, it was beyond freezing out. By 8pm, we were going to walk out. Two other sets of people waiting were told to go next door to their other dining room, which we were told to follow and then finally sat. Ordered. They brought out our garlic noodles instantly which would have been better brought out with the main course, but for the fact we were starving it was fine. Noodles were ok. Not hot. Lots of garlic. I got a lb of mussels, add sausage, went with their house seasoning and mild. My friend got snow crabs, garlic seasoning. So funny, but it took at least 10 minutes to get someone's attention to get crackers for the crabs. So that was a little annoying. The sausage was over cooked. Seasoning on everything was good. This dining room was also packed, noisy and service was a little slow. Also, no hushpuppies on the menu? What gives.

Had a hankering for really good seafood, and not fried, simply boiled bucket seafood like in Mass, Cape Cod etc. Sadly I can't find anything remotely like The Boiling House near home (Yardley PA). I remember my days living in Hoboken NJ and going to Just BeCaws in Jersey City. Well, we found a suitable comparison to Just BeClaws and within only 40 minutes south in Cherry Hill NJ. Look for the red fishing boat along Marlton Pike about, just 30 yards north of the Jaguar/Land Rover dealership on Marlton Pike in Cherry Hill. They are located deep down the center of the shopping center stores back on the right down the steps. With the pandemic, we called to check on inside seating and their protocols which met with our approval these days. Everyone is masked, many servers with gloves and cleaning between patrons. Tables were spotless and readied with napkins, plates lobster bid and plastic disposable gloves. No menus, QR code scan in a placard or you can use the Yelp menu. Let me start by saying Dave, our server, was fantastic. Handled all our questions, was courteous friendly and definitely attentive. Upon figuring out the menu and our interests we opt to pick our own dishes vs the larger multi-option dishes for the table. I built my own seafood pot with Dungeness Crab Cluster, two large clusters weighing in at 1.25lbs of fabulous, succulent, perfectly cooked meat that was boiled with old bay and some garlic butter. Was meal that will be remembered. My spouse had the seafood fried rice -- lobster, shrimp, king carb, Dungeness, snow carb meat, mussels and egg and mixed veggies. She loved it. As an add on, we ordered one Andouille sausage, it had kick, was a perfect complement to both our meals. BYOB, parking lot, credit cards, attentive staff, great food. Can't wait for the hankering to show up again soon. See our pics.

We first started coming here when they first opened. The food is still the same, delicious! The food comes out fresh and hot at all times. It's very flavorful and garlicky for my garlic lover such as myself. The service is impeccable. I personally like as my waiter John. He's patient and kind. He listen to you wants and needs and does his best to fulfill them. The ambiance is great. It's BYOB so it's a chill relax atmosphere kinda place. It's not quiet but not extremely loud. It's just a great time! We've been so many times now I've lost count. I'm surprised I never wrote a review til today. But it's always a good time here

We went on a Sunday night and were greeted warmly by the the hostess and got a table right away. Our waitron was quick to appear and was delighted that it was our first time there. She pointed out why we made a good choice --- fish delivered fresh every day and approved by the manager or it was returned to the vendor. She started us with, again, surprisingly good --- and I am a bread snob --- ciabatta bread and very good oil and pesto to dip it in. The reason I gave the place only four stars were two of the recommended cocktails, a smoked Manhattan and a French 75. Both were just fair. I've had a lot better elsewhere, but I bet if you'd stick to simple, classic cocktails, you'd be pleased. I will try that strategy myself next time that we go. Entrees are smallish, but do you want something that's all-tasty, or a generous pile of crap? So I had the grilled shrimp diablo; spicy, but well made with just slightly overcooked pasta, more than enough to satisfy me. She had the grilled mahi mahi with mango ...chutney(?), jasmine rice and broccoli. I tried it --- very, very good. The wine list is adequate; we both liked our choices, Duckhorn sauvignon blanc, for the mahi and Chandon sparkling rosé, which went particularly well with the spicy shrimp. Sorry, we didn't have dessert. Service was quick and very friendly, and the food arrived hot and was quite good. The decor is tastefully well done and the music they play is unobtrusive. Yes. Give Bonefish a try.

My lovely lady wanted to come here for snow crab legs. We met up with her parents and we had a feast! We started with the mini crab balls, lobster bisque, spicy garlic little neck clams, clams casino and the hot smoked white fish. The little necks were really good and the sauce was much spicier than expected. It came with a round roll for dipping all that juice. They were really good. The clams casino was the classic I remember, and they were good, not great. The crab balls were very popular at the table and went fast. They were crispy and had lots of crab in them, I believe it was claw meat. The lobster bisque was also delish. The hot smoke whiting was warm, Smokey and flakey with a wonderful taste. It came with hot butter and was so good we ordered a second plate. For entrees we ordered the mussels in spicy red sauce, the broiled combo platter with shrimps and scallops and a crabby cake. Oyster stew, and baked jumbo lump crab meat. All came with coleslaw, and a side. We got onion rings and French fries and they were good. They weren't the cheap onion rings. They were battered not breaded, and thats how I like them. The spicy clams and mussels really had a kick, so be prepared because it was a little too much for the ladies at our table. The oyster stew was not as thick as we wanted and was a little watery. My crab cake was packed with jumbo lump crab and the whole meal was really delicious and filling. This is why this place has stood the test of time!

I do not eat seafood and was confused by the fishy smell and presence of meat. Luckily it was a simple cross-table mixup. Furthermore, the mushroom gnocchi was horrible. It was made with pure whipping cream, which is probably a valid Italian approach, but it had to have been 100g of fat, and it tasted like warm thick milk, with no flavor and minimal mushrooms. I felt sick to my stomach the rest of the night. The restaurant was packed and tastefully decorated. They have a great signature cocktail list but I couldn't hear myself or anyone at my table. Average decibel level was 85 through the course of our 90 minute stay. My ears felt raw once I got outside. Lastly, it's a mandatory (and complimentary) valet for parking. Just be prepared. This review covers a few visits. Happy hour, good deal, tasty food and drinks and pretty good…read moreservice, would recommend. Group event, went as part of a holiday party and the food, service and wine were all on point. This was a long happy hour not sit down so I cannot attest to a large group sit down dinner. Lastly dining in the main dining room, 6 people, Saturday night. Service was thin, read, our server was busy with a large group in the back and the neglect was evident. Now this doesn't mean the rest of the restaurant crew couldn't step in but really didn't. We were graced with a water refill once over the course of the dinner, although the friendly server who did pour the water said she walks around to fill water, she was never seen again. Our entrees were brought by a group of servers who disappeared after placement of the plates. So it would appear people were working they just seemed to ignore our table. Food was great, I wouldn't have gone if I didn't think the food was on par, but spending this kind of money you want a balance of service and food. You can see the accumulation of glasses that went on removed between wines. Now happy hour is discounted and you are at the bar so you get front and center service. Standing in the group room you are able to flag a server, sitting in the middle of the dining area and being largely ignored just rubs you the wrong way. I had two people ask why are you going to Flemings when I told them our plans. A competing steak house at the Cherry Hill Mall, we have attended many, many times without fail. You don't know how good you have it until you go someplace else and realize service is a lost art at some places. I am posting more for public service announcement, i would hope management reviews and tries to address this rather large service gap. I have never had this issue at the capital Grill, so it is disappointing to encounter it here, particularly when the food was on point.
