This is a nice neighborhood liquor store and small markets. They pretty much carry all the items at your well known and stocked liquor stores in town. They offer beers galore, a decent collections of wines, and a lot of the hard stuff. They offer plenty of ice, Lotto, and friendly service! Parking is right out in front and on the street. read more

They had a hard to find bottle on their website. I was a little confused as the website is called Uptown Spirits. I called and they double checked and found it. I drove up to the location and it was quite the drive. Nice little neighborhood.  They only have a few parking spots and I was luck to get the last one. I was shocked to see how small the place really was. I thought it would be a lot bigger. The clerk asked me if I needed help and he was the one I talked to on the phone. I was shocked that they found it since it was very well hidden.   This was for Valentine's Day and I left happy.  Really good customer service.  I was in and out in a matter of minutes. read more

Just wanted to give a shout out to The Bottle House Liquor Store for participating in the Shawarma Guys Elite Yelp Event. They provided bottled water or soda to the Elite Yelpers for .50 when they attended the yelp event. They were super friendly and on the day I attended the yelp event they were promoting a brand of Rum called (Copalli from the Rain Forest of Belize) and had samples for you to try (the gold was smooth). read more

This place is legit. They have sooooo many beverages that may be hard to find. I overheard a customer telling staff when in the area from North County she stops by because they have what she likes. I can see based upon the variety. The staffs super friendly. It's more than just liquor in here. I got a Mega Millions and Super Lotto ticket. They have snacks, sodas, water and other stuff. I couldn't believe what I was hearing, but sure enough, one day I stopped by and forgot my wallet at home and management assured me that I can just pay the next time I'm by. This is, hands down, the best liquor store in San Diego. Yes, I've not been to all of them but I've been to a a lot. A few years ago I was searching for a hard to find spirit. The owner of this place was the fist person who offered to order it for me. Not only that, he continues to stock it and has ordered more from the same maker. And they have a huge selection of spirits. A lot of beer as well but I do not care for craft beer so I can't comment on that. The staff are all very friendly. Highly recommend read more

It feels a little strange to review a liquor store as most of them are pretty nondescript as a neighborhood staple. This place is far better than the couple I live closer to however. The liquor selection is very good. They actually carry bitters and amaros. While a little pricey for the higher end stuff, they frequently have a selection of stuff on special if you're not too picky about specific brands. The service is very warm and friendly which is really really uncommon for a liquor store. read more

I was impressed by this liquor store. I don't go to many normally just 7-11 but this place is so clean and neatly stocked. Went in to buy some Arizona ice tea so I could eat at the food truck and I was taken aback. I thought eww food truck by a liquor store but I was sooooo wrong. I witnessed a bike rider hit a car at the stop sign today across from the Shawarma Guys food truck on 30th and hurt himself badly. I briefly asked if he was okay but he moved over to the sidewalk and the woman whose car he hit stayed with him. I took off on my bike for a block and then circled back and thought of going to the Bottle House within view for some ice. I said that I didn't have any money on me but the owner gave me a bag of ice and so I took it over to the bike rider to ice his knee and suggested that he buy some beer someday from the Bottle House. The woman whose car he hit offered to give the guy and his bike a ride in her hatchback since he couldn't ride anymore. I rode off but thought that kindness and gratitude is what makes this world good. I've lived in South Park for over ten years; and have only gotten familiar with this store in the past year or so. It's a small, family owned store, and at first glance it looks like just another corner liquor store. But it's not. Visiting this place is a spiritual experience. They have brands and flavors and liquors that you've never heard of, and the staff has extensive knowledge. On top of all that, every time I am there I bump into another craft cocktail artist. At first glance, they may seem more expensive than other corner stores, but their prices are fair, and they offer a selection you could not believe. Stopped by today to check out the selection and pick up a bottle for the the house. The store is amazing. All kinds of hard to find liquor and wine. They have too many craft beers to count. The owner Steven is very friendly and knowledgeable about everything in the store. Ok his recommendation, I purchased a bottle of Trefethen Cabernet Sauvignon and it did not disappoint. This place ain't it. I went in in December looking for Night Train or Thunderbird......ideal for Christmas Gift Exchanges....and found Grape Mad Dog 20-20 at 2.99 a bottle.
