This lady has roaches in her home and she does not clean. Found bugs in the cookie and the mold in the bags

The cookies are unique and really good. My favorite are the red velvet Oreo and the cheesecake cookies.

Recently I've been going to Tijuana for dental work and one morning before heading back to Las…read moreVegas I was on the hunt for some pan dulce and some café de olla. Mind you I wake up early, it was a Saturday morning and I noticed they open at 3am! That was serendipity! My wife and I get ready and arrive. Nestled in a plaza next do a donut shop mind you! We enter and were greeted by a very nice young lady. There is café de olla on a shelf to the right hand side as you enter. You can smell the fresh brewed coffee with a hint of cinammon right as you walk. The coffee taste like a breath of fresh air from México. So rich and delicous. They have such a large selection of pan dulces I was so delighted to choose a wide variety. The white and chocolate conchas are so airy and pillowy soft with a nice cinnamon hint. The elotes are typically a bit hard but not here, a bit dense bit still light and fluffy dough. They have stuffed bolillos, quite a few varieties actually. They have cheese, bean, ham, picadillo and jalapeño and cheese. Prior to paying I realized they also made in house tamales so I definitely needed to try them as I am a connoisseur (ahem lol). We opted for a pork tamal in red and a chicken tamal in red. Let me tell you, that was one of THE BEST tamales I have had in years!! Mind you I make my own tamales for my family. The dough is soft and moist, the salsa used is spicy but not over the top, and the flavoring in the masa itself was stupendous. And then to top it off, I saw these in house made ham tortas. Oh man, my mouth is watering just thinking of it again. That torta though humble and simple, was hands down a 10 out of 10. If you're on the hunt for a consistent panaderia that will make you feel like you're at home, look no further. This is your home now

We also tried the churros which didn't like as much. I think they were very crispy and crumbly but I personally prefer one with more bite! The truck is so cute! And the service was so great and friendly.

I was almost surprised the wait was as short as it was. As I approached, a sweet woman greeted me with a warm smile and provided exceptional customer service. She engaged with my friends and I, showing genuine courtesy and attentiveness. I struggled to decide on a flavor, so she kindly recommended two options. She even offered samples, but I respectfully declined since my friends and she both recommended the same flavor - chocolate chip cookies and cream. Typically, I'm not an ice cream person, especially not cookies and cream. I usually prefer chocolate or coffee flavors made into milkshakes. But this flavor was definitely a surprise. The ice cream was some of the best I've ever had. The texture was creamy, and the blended cookies added a delicious crunch. The cone was also outstanding. I will definitely be returning. Be sure to check them out on Instagram at @potion7creamery to find their next location. As much as I'd love to keep this gem a secret, if you're visiting San Diego, you must try it. I even went back for a to-go cup!
