    All of the cookies.

These have been my favorite cookies for years. The flavors are so unique and they change every month with the exception of some of her staple flavors. The cookies are massive and the quality is so high I have never had qualms about the price. There aren't a lot of shops and flavors like this for vegan out there, even in southern California. The staff have always been very friendly and helpful. The interior and exterior have a hot pink theme that is very fun. There are a couple of little tables and a bench outside. Plenty of parking in the lot. I have driven to San Diego from LA multiple times specifically for these cookies. I wish we would get a location up here too!

Wow, I was gifted with a Lemon Blueberry Crumb Cake, Carrot Cake, Texas Sheet Cake and a Chocolate Chip cookie by my sister in California after she saw this vegan bakery featured in VegNews. She said the process to ship was easy and the price fair. She was notified the minute it was left at my door. The packaging was beautiful and the cookies in perfect shape...even with our 100 degree weather today. I inhaled half of one before reading they should be frozen, then served warm. I can't wait to try them all. I didn't think I cared about baked goods...apparently, I wasn't having the right ones. (I had no idea they were vegan until I read the fine print. Bonus!) And what a selection.

I visited Maya's Cookies again on a Sunday morning, February 1, 2026, after my mother saw a news story (KUSI) about their delicious variety. She suggested we go, and though she didn't realize I had been before, I was more than happy to return. especially with Valentine's Day approaching, and to celebrate Black History throughout the month of February. Maya's is tucked away in a business park, , but it's adorable with its pink awning and cozy atmosphere. They offer a wide range of flavors, all vegan, but they taste just like classic cookies, so whether you're vegan or not, you'll love them. I even met Maya this time. She was so kind and the counter girl was equally friendly. This is the perfect treat for yourself or a loved one, Maya's Cookies will never disappoint! #mayascookies #yelpsandiego #sandiego #cookies #kusi

1 star = Maya's Cookies is 100% vegan 1 star = they have vegan soft serve 1 star = Maya is the sweetest person everrrr 1 star = located near the San Diego Vegan Market 1 star = they have a couple gluten-free options Maya's gets 5 stars from meeeee. I've loved every cookie I've ever had from there.

I got the eggnog soft serve and my daughter got the vanilla. They both came with a mini gingerbread cookie. It's all vegan.

Maya's cookies is an amazing little hidden treasure. I love getting holiday treats or gifts for people, including my family. All of the items are undetectably vegan. Amazingly delicious and so hard to decide which flavors to get. At the San Diego location there is oatmilk soft serve in addition to the various types of cookies. There's a small area to eat outside or takeout and shipping is available.

Very, very small cookie shop tucked into the corner of an anonymous office complex (though it wasn't that hard to find). The signs outside did help locate the place and told people what flavors of cookies were available. However, going into the place, the flavors were somewhat limited. I only wanted five of the flavors, which ended up being chocolate peanut butter, chocolate chip, oatmeal raisin, marble fudge, and chocolate peppermint bark. The girl behind the counter convinced me to get one more to make it a half dozen. Of the three flavors I didn't pick, I was most intrigued by the pumpkin cinnamon bun so I chose that one. I just had that cookie, and it was pretty good. I do have to say that these are relatively expensive cookies. I paid $30 total for six cookies, which comes out to an even $5 per cookie. Yes, the cookies are larger than normal and vegan, but still. I think that's a rather excessive price point for a cookie. I do like the carrying case for the cookies.

Long hair baked in the cookie

I went to this place because it was highly reviewed. I certainly wanted to like these cookies, because I had a sweet tooth. Here is a breakdown of my experience. Pros: -There is parking -The Ube cookie was really good (before I found the hair). Cons: - Place is hard to find. Tucked away in a business park. - Cookies are expensive. I got 6 for $29. - The taste is okay. These cookies are not great. - There was a long hair baked into a cookie, therefore the cookies ended up going in the trash. Bottom line: I recommend skipping this place unfortunately. The cookies are overpriced for the taste/quality that you get. I also question the hygiene practices of the bakery as I had a long hair baked into my cookie...

Store front in Grantville area has everything you need. Before you walk in, you inhale a waff of sweet delicious baked goods. Store has cookies, merchandise, cookies dough, and packaged drinks in fridge. I bought the half dozen and chose six cookies. Taste of all cookies is the home made feels. Crispy edges, caramelized sugar, softer center. Large size cookies. All delicious, choose your favorite.

Wow what a sweet little gem! Family is down in San Diego for the weekend and wanted a sweet snack and found this place on yelp. Not a large selection, but enough and the taste is delicious! We got half a dozen cookies to share now and some for later. The staff was nice, small place so only saw one person working the storefront is cute. The street can be misleading because it looks like industrial warehouses.

Who would have thought vegan cookies could be so delicious! We bought a few boxes for our employees and I devoured a few before we got to work haha! The creative variety of cookies and consistently deliciousness had me sold. I loved the chocolate chip, matcha, Oreo, etc - I could go on and on about them.

I first learned about Maya's cookies at the Orange County Fairgrounds during a vegan festival. I bought a bunch of them and I was sold! Unfortunately, there is no store in Orange County but they do offer delivery and I have definitely taken advantage of that on various occasions and have also been gifted cookies via delivery. The cookies are so flavorful, gooey, chewy sweet and delicious. Exactly how you expect a cookie to taste. And they're big! The texture is amazing. It's hard to believe they're vegan. Also there's so many flavors to choose from especially with the rotating menu. I have never been to the actual store, but, at the vegan festival, the booth was super cute and the employees were nice and helpful. I think I even met Maya . The experience and the cookies left a great impression on me. I have yet to find a comparable place in Orange County.

I ordered a latte and neglected to tell them it was for here so I was given a paper cup, but they give real cups if you ask. The latte was good, and my friend bought a kitchen sink type cookie with chocolate, coconut, and macadamia nuts. It was warm and gooey good! Another friend tried the gelato and said it was very good. The decor and tables definitely gives you an old school Italian neighborhood vibe with Italian markets right next door. The decor and setting is cute and quirky, including cow sculptures hanging upside down from the ceiling. There were only a couple other visitors when we arrived, as it was near opening time. Our dishes took a whopping 35 minutes to be ready, and service was not very friendly nor helpful. Luckily, the music playing through the speakers added a nice vibe to the place, songs like Our House by Madness and Can't Fight This Feeling. We ordered the brunch pizza (with eggs cooked overeasy) and the breakfast flatbread which looked almost identical when served, as well as an iced mocha. The quality of the pizza was pretty average, and the eggs were slightly overcooked. The drink was really good, made fresh, with a smooth taste and a nice sweetness to it, the plastic cup coated in chocolate sauce. It tasted more like chocolate milk with a hint of coffee, which I personally enjoyed. They typically serve gelato here, but it would not be ready till almost two hours after opening time. So no milkshakes or cold desserts were available in the morning this past Sunday (no worries, Ghirardelli is just a block away). I appreciate the variety of menu items offered here. But they really should communicate online that their gelato's not ready till two hours into the day. If there's one thing that irks me about an establishment, it's failure to communicate appropriately. Even though our recent visit was somewhat disappointing, I still gave 3 stars, assuming this was an off day for them.

They completely nailed the texture. Every single cookie hit that golden sweet spot--warm and gooey in the middle with just the right amount of crisp edge. What really stood out was the balance of ingredients. Chocolate Chip: Perfectly measured so you get sweet chocolate in every bite without feeling overwhelmed by chips. Peanut Butter Reese's: An absolute dream ratio of rich peanut butter to chocolate peanut butter cups. Snickerdoodle: Perfectly spiced, striking just the right "snicker-to-doodle" balance! Of course, we couldn't leave without trying the ice cream. I ordered a combination of Cookie Monster and Campfire in a single scoop. The portion size was remarkably generous--it completely filled up the small cup and delivered a fantastic mix of flavors. My wife went with a scoop combining Espresso Oreo and Mint & Chip, which she thoroughly enjoyed. Overall, these were easily some of the best desserts we've had in a very long time.
