My wife and I ate at this delightful restaurant during our trip to Marco Island December 2021. We had made advanced reservations to eat outside and we were graciously accommodated. The outdoor dining was quiet and felt upscale. My wife had Caesar salad with anchovies which was very good. I had the house salad which was fresh. For her entree my wife had shrimp and scampi in pesto sauce. This was good although sauce was lacking in seasoning. I had the Frutti de Mare over pasta. This was also good although again, could have used more garlic and other Italian seasonings to give it more flavor. We definitely will go back next trip. read more

This was the best restaurant I have ever eaten at. Our server was top notch. The food was all excellent. The four of us had a variety of entrees... steak, shrimp w/gluten free pasta, chicken pesto and eggplant parm. Everyone loved their meals. We also had a gluten free flatbread which everyone loved! We were very surprised that we found a restaurant that offered so many gluten-free options--- thank you-thank you! We also shared a lemoncillo dessert-- cool and refreshing. This place has burgers, philly cheesesteaks, flat breads, sandwiches, wraps, etc. There is easily a line during the more busy hours, but service is great and the food is good. Price point is a little inflated but not bad for Marco Island, I guess (expect to spend at least $13 pp). You can tell that they use fresh ingredients. Atmosphere is a bit loud and a tad bit crowded - my boyfriend and I were seated right next to the kitchen window. Nevertheless, good food and a pretty good variety as well. read more

Had dinner here with 5 friends....one word SPECTACULAR!! Started with a bunch of appetizers which were incredible. Must try the sausage and peppers as an appetizer, simply incredible. Very nice wine list to accompany the great food. Presentation, temperatures and food itself was just perfect. My friends have never been here, and absolutely loved it. Came here with my wife on Memorial Day weekend (Saturday night to be specific). Charming place nestled in a shopping center. It probably seats about 50 people and there were about four or five other tables occupied when we arrived (though a party of 28 came right before we left). Everything we ate was ah-maz-ing. We started with a fig flatbread. A little pricey for a starter (it's not on the starter menu, it's an entree) but worth it IMO. It can feed 3 people well. I had the steak sandwich, American cheese "wit" onions and sweet potato wedges. My wife was jealous. She got the eggplant sandwich and really enjoyed it, but LOVED mine. We finished it off with the highly recommended cheesecake. Very good. Not great but good. We split one piece. Service was great (though it was hard to get any attention once that huge party showed up, but by that time we were just waiting to order dessert). The food and service was perfection! Mira was so kind and welcoming, from the moment we set down, the service was absolutely wonderful. Found this hidden gem in the middle of Marco Island. Don't let the name fool you. The interior is quaint, with a calming ambiance. The decor is sophisticated, and softly lit. It is not harshly lit like I anticipated. My date and I ordered the Caprese salad, the smoked salmon flat bread, and sweet potato wedges (waitress' recommendation). The food arrived promptly, and was beautifully plated. The flat bread was a little on the thick side, which took away from the flavor of the dish. The cream cheese sauce drizzled on top was what enticed me to order this dish as it is great paired with smoked salmon. However, I was disappointed to find it drizzled on the over abundance of arugula, which took away from the flavor as well. The flavors could have been better balanced. Overall the meal was a great experience. The flatbread components are a great concept, just not executed to my taste. The potato wedges and Caprese salad were perfectly prepared. Cute little place tucked away. Service was quick. Bread nice and warm with a nice whipped butter. Ordered the Reisling to drink and at first thought, it was so sweet, we thought it was moscato. The waiter said their Reisling is sweet (should have asked before ordering) Then I had to try the moscato and that was insanely sweet. Salads are good that come with the meal. What Marco Island doesn't need is another over priced restaurant. Unfortunately, in my opinion, that is what you get with the Boulevard, previously the Philly Grille. Entrees range from $23 to $32 and one of the specials was $34. Gone is the Philly cheesesteak (undoubtedly, the best on the island) and the flatbread with spicy sausage, black beans and corn. My wife and I each got a flatbread, each of which was very good. However at $15 and $16 apiece, they are expensive. They are also much smaller than they were when Philly Grille offered them at a lower price. There is no complimentary bread for the table even though several of our friends at the table ordered an entree. Until the Boulevard brings back the Philly cheesesteak, we are one and done with this restaurant. read more

For starters it is no longer the Philly Grille regardless of what the sign outside says. It is The Boulevard Restaurant a decidedly more upscale place with tablecloths, formal place settings, and low lighting. You also won't find a Philly steak anywhere on the menu. In fact, gone are most of the sandwich and grill items you may have eaten here in the past. That said if you're willing to spend between $25 and $28 per entrée this is a nice family owned restaurant with a broad menu which ranges from a delicious assortment of flatbreads to your standard Italian pasta dishes. One of our favorite restaurants on the island and love the food but during Covid19 we found it unacceptable that staff was not wearing masks or gloves when delivering food at curbside pickup. The restaurant needs to take this disease seriously and protect both their workers and customers.
