Skip out on 5th avenue's Italian fare and come HERE. Ask for Sal! Beautiful, sophisticated, and delicious. We sat outside on their cozy, beautiful patio by the water and had the carpaccio as a starter followed by sea bass, snapper, and salmon for the mains. All of our drinks were great from the sauv blanc to the margs and espresso martinis. The coconut tiramisu and affogato were to die for. I will be on the treadmill for the next 7 days. I can't say enough amazing things about this place.

I came here for dinner with my family on Easter Sunday after hearing great things about the food. It did not disappoint! Not only was the food fantastic, the service was phenomenal. Everyone was friendly and quick to check on us. I recommend a stop in!

After my experience on Thursday, February 12th, that's over. At 6:05 PM, I placed a small online order (mozzarella sticks, a calzone, and a sandwich) through their website, as I always do. Estimated pickup: 29 to 34 minutes. I arrived at 6:41 with my wife and kids in the car. Food wasn't ready, but "five more minutes." Fine. Five turned into twenty. Twenty turned into forty. During that time, I watched the staff take phone orders and quote every customer "20 to 25 minutes," no matter the order size. When I asked what the holdup was, the staff, who were genuinely doing their best, explained that new kitchen staff were struggling. My son was starving, so I left to grab him food elsewhere and came back about 30 minutes later, confident my order would be waiting. It wasn't. At 7:35 PM, ninety minutes after placing a three-item order, nothing was ready. I asked the staff why they were still quoting 20-minute turnarounds when the reality was 90+ minutes. I suggested they pause online ordering to let the kitchen recover. They told me the owner, Jared Grifoni, has instructed them to keep online orders on and to continue telling customers 20 minutes, despite knowing the kitchen is nowhere close to meeting that timeline. That's not a bad night. That's a policy decision to mislead customers for the sake of revenue. I requested a refund. As it was being processed, two of my three items finally came out. When the staff asked the kitchen about the last item, the answer was: "I have no idea when we'll get to that." I left at 7:46 PM, one hour and forty-one minutes after ordering. To be clear: the staff on the floor that night are not to blame. They were put in a no-win situation and handled it as well as anyone could. The issue is ownership making a conscious choice to overload the kitchen, deceive customers about wait times, and let the staff absorb the fallout. When I arrived, the restaurant was nearly full. When I left, it was almost empty. I won't be adding myself to either count again.

The staff was absolutely incredible. The atmosphere was vibrant yet upscale. We started off with complementary bread with an oil (& something paste - I didn't catch the name) which was excellent. I ordered the Cernia Alla Pescatore ($52): grouper, clams, mussels, shrimp, garlic, white wine sauce, grape tomatoes served over spinach linguine. All entrées come with a house salad or you can do an upgrade to a Caesar. I chose the house salad that comes with balsamic vinaigrette. Very well put together, light and refreshing. The Cernia Alla Pescatore was very flavorful and everything was cook to perfection. For desert, I had the Profiteroles ($17): cream puff filled with vanilla ice cream and topped with hot chocolate fudge. What a great way to end a fantastic meal!!! Overall, yes, this was a splurge (expensive) meal but so well worth it!! Highly recommend for a special occasion!

My friend and I split it. The truffle Mac was fantastic. Creamy and delicious. My least favorite side was the zucchini as it had a curry taste to it that I did not care for. Wish we ordered another one as it wasn't enough for us (4 people). As this was a take out order, there was a big issue. The app gave options to add for an order. I ordered a spaghetti marina and thought I "added" garlic and oil. But when we received the order, it was just pasta, garlic and oil. Wtf?! Why the heck would anyone order a spaghetti and only want garlic and oil? The option was NOT clear. I thought it was in ADDITION to. So for $20 I got pasta and garlic and oil. No marinara. It's NOT spaghetti! This was a take out order so the experience might not be the same if you eat at the restaurant. UPDATE: The owner, Sami, called me the next day to apologize for the mixup and offered to replacement. Within 30 min I received a still hot spaghetti the way it's supposed to be. Not only that, he added some dessert. As a business person myself, I understand mistakes happen. But when the issue is rectified, it's a testament to the values of the restaurant. The spaghetti was delicious! Not only the food is delicious, but awesome customer service. I can imagine how good the service would be if we ate at the restaurant. Highly recommend. The seafood selection on the menu felt limited. I expected more variety for a coastal restaurant. Appetizers were decent but did not stand out. The salmon carpaccio looked nice and tasted as expected, but the flavor was fairly simple. The frutti de mar had good flavor and the seafood was cooked properly. The sauce worked well and did not overpower the dish. The portion was disappointing for the price. The dish cost $52 dollars and only included three scallops and three shrimp. The rest of the seafood was mostly clams and mussels. I substituted angel hair instead of linguine which helped keep the dish lighter. The chicken Madeira looked great but the flavor was mild. With a stronger sauce or seasoning it could easily be an excellent dish. The kids meals were a win. The chicken tenders and pasta kept them happy and the portions were solid. Overall experience was good mainly because of the service and presentation. Some dishes need stronger flavor and the seafood portions could match the price better. Still a pleasant dinner spot on Marco Island.
