People rushing us off the pool table.

I had a really disappointing experience here. If you're looking for a fun night out, this is definitely not the place. It felt like the whole vibe was taken over by overly serious pool players who kept coming up to us, asking us to hurry up. One lady, very rudely, even said, "I know you're trying to have fun, but just know people are waiting for you to finish your game." We weren't even goofing off--we were actually playing pool, and yet it felt like we were being rushed the entire time. Toward the end of our game, with just a few balls left, they said, "You have two minutes left on the table." The entire place was full of rude regulars who just stared at us like we didn't belong. The only positive note was the bartenders, who were friendly. But honestly, if you're not a regular, I wouldn't recommend coming here for a fun pool night. It was a horrible experience, and I won't be coming back. Also, there was a dog at the bar. I love dogs, but this one kept walking around, jumping on the bench, and the owner just let it roam freely. It was really strange how they allowed the dog to just wander around the bar like that. Did not have any food.

If you're looking for a no-frills, all-thrills kind of night, Bounty Room delivers--strong drinks, great service, and plenty of eye candy to keep things interesting. This is a true dive bar, so don't come expecting craft cocktails or a fancy food menu. What you can expect? Ice-cold beers, stiff pours, and a bartending team that knows how to keep the drinks flowing and the vibes just right. The crowd? A mix of locals, regulars, and some damn fine-looking men--if you like a little visual entertainment with your whiskey, you won't be disappointed. The energy is laid-back yet lively, and whether you're flying solo or rolling in with friends, you'll find yourself laughing, drinking, and maybe even flirting a little more than planned. Bottom line: Bounty Room is the kind of spot where the night gets a little blurry, the company gets a little better, and the drinks never stop coming. A dive in all the best ways.

I got called into town for work and I immediately remembered The Bounty Room. Thank god it was the same bartender. To my surprise he remembered us and not only us but our drinks. Thank you once again for making this establishment seem home away from home.

Pool tables and additional seating, other than at the bar.

First impressions can be misleading or lack full insight. When someone refers to a pub or bar as a dive, that word generates several connotations. The Bounty Room does just that when you enter for the first time. No ambience, no plush seating, nor elegant restrooms. My first instinct was to turn around and walk out. Instead I took a seat at the only seating available, at a short section of bench seats with 13 backless bar stools. At the bar were 22 customers sharing 16 backless bar stools. There were 4 additional customers using the two billiard tables. They were located in front of the entrance door, and the row of bench seats where I was seated. Two television screens are mounted on the wall behind me, and a single arcade game is at the end of my seat. The manager, Jennifer, was also the bartender. She did an excellent job working the bar and extremely attentive to her customers. There are 4 wide screen televisions mounted on the wall behind the bar, with a very large fish tank. Each screen was showing something different with volume off or on low. There are no foot rails at the bar or bench seats. I introduced myself to two of the billiard players, and three customers seated at the bar. I discovered the dive, in this bar means friendly neighborhood bar. The ladies I spoke with stated they felt safe day or night, and enjoyed the attention of the men. This was after becoming acquainted with the various customers, and developing a bond or friendship over a period of five years or months for another. I was told, when there is only standing room, or action at the pool tables, it can be hard to have a normal conversation. The prices of beer, and mixed drinks are much lower than some of the more popular pubs or bars in this area. I discovered the customer base is mainly friends and neighbors. The wooden bar top was knife etched with initials and various street art designs. This bar recently had new flooring installed. Several customers are retired or semi, and this is their hangout or get away from home hideaway. If you want wine, this is not your place. They have only 1 single serving bottle of Sutter wine available. Also the only food, is a variety chip rack. You may bring food in. If you are looking for a friendly bar with bargain prices, a long happy hour, and may be near home, this is it. A game of billiards is only a dollar. Jennifer the manager, would be honored to attend to your beer or mixed drink needs. There are ten popular draft beers on tap. I went back a few days later and took a few photos. If you are looking for no frills, but seek good company with lower prices, please try, The Bounty Room. Tell Jennifer I sent you.

The Bounty Room is a cute local bar but with extra awesome service and vibes. I recently moved to Torrance and a few friends and I were trying to go our for St. Patricks day. We ended up at the bounty room and had a wonderful time! The bartender was super friendly and chatty, and it seemed like everyone in there knew each other - just super good vibes. They have pool tables and an arcade game, a pretty fish tank, and a ton of great drinks. Definitely will be back!

I believe that Holiday's matter, not as days that drive chocolate and flower sales, but as…read morereminders that whimsy should be celebrated to make life a bit more colorful and joyous. Scrooge might say "Bah! Humbug!" to festivities but, in other hand, say "hab gubmuh" to the days and seasons that bring mirth, hanging streamers and disco balls into our life, lest these be left in grayscale. That is why I was attracted to this bar because I wanted to know be drenched in red and pink glamour while all the way celebrating that very special feeling of love. As, soon I entered the door and saw the exaggerated decorations on the roof and on the walls, my immediate thought was "fun," not corny, or please with these hanging hearts and neon lights. Thus this place owns the trip to love land without apology, and I for one, say that this means that the festive goal hoped for hit heart center. I also went relatively early, in terms of bar crowd hours, and was surprised that the place was full to its arteries. Truth be told, that is why, I ticked one star of my overall rating because this place is cute and a vibe, and a worthy scene, but it is also small and packed to the point where folks are proverbial sardines in a tin can. But more on that later, right now, we start with what gave me anchor in place: their pool table. There is no place to sit, amidst the crowd, I automatically assessed. Where can I be to find my place? So I went to the table and played pool. I appreciated that the place had clearly articulated rules and procedures for play, which removed ambiguity and created a climate of respect toward the game, which allows for pool games where appropriate and competitive game play reigns. I managed to order a drink on theme for the night: a Misty Kiss. It was the bartender's suggestion, after I asked for their sweetest cocktail. When she first suggested it, I thought she said minty kiss, and thus when she delivered the drink, I was expecting some kind of shamrock shade. But then I heard the appropriate pronunciation- misty, not minty. I wondered when a literal misty kiss would be appropriate and beautiful? Then I remember scanning a picture book of love pictures, and one was of a woman saying goodbye to her sailor as he shipped of to fight in a world war, and I realized that the sadness in her eyes as she said goodbye was a form of a misty kiss. I took my Misty Kiss and played a game of pool with a guy named Matt. He revealed that he played every day, which explained why I did not stand a chance against a daily player, balance in talent simply did not exist. It was hard to find a spot to place my drink, which tasted swell, and was on brand for the evening, and quite stiff! It was hard to find a seat or a spot for me to call my own. And it was for others as well. I saw people going to the bathroom and needing to allocate themselves in near hunches to avoid the sticks of pool. And out in the crowd, people were huddled on the floor, not sure where to be so they could feel like they had a space of their own and did not bump with others. But there was no way to avoid bumping into others, and it was a mission to find a spot. That is why when I saw a table for two open up, I did a mad dash to an empty chair, like a fool in love who rushes in. It is at the chair where I could not only see but stop and admire the paper roses of the place. As my pictures show, the place truly did not limit itself from embracing the spirit of Valentine's day. For instance, they had this wall of decorations, with hearts, orbs (white, red, pink) teddy bears, and so much more; it was a tapestry hung just right for the occasion. Of course, people wanted to use the wall as the backdrop but with so many people, this too, required a wait and navigate plan. I did help some folks out by taking their pictures. I was not Cupid but in these moments I did hope that my aim was true. In the final analysis, I immensely appreciated the decorations, and all of the folks who dressed for the occasion, because it gave texture and meaning to the decor. But the tight quarters limited the love I can give to this place. However, I do know now where to go, where I want a themed drink, and environment to boot.

Cupid aka Courtney was shooting arrows and slinging shots behind the bar with style and serving up some love with this months "Cupids Cocktails" menu. All the locals could be found in for a session. They once again out did themselves with the cutest decor. My one suggestion would be to get the jukebox playing all the love songs (from power ballads to cheesy fun sing along ones) to nail the vibe. They've got a pool table to shoot your own shots too! Parking can be rough but do yourself a favor and everyone else and Uber. Loving all the holidays here! great job Paddy O's and staff!
