Awesome place, location. Parking is spotty but that makes it a neighborhood staple. Quiet, nice, well decorated location. Beautifully done. Coffee always a beauty to have. Service staff is pleasant and mild mannered. Very respectful!!

Brought a friend to this location because she'd never been to a coffee shop that was painted all black and wanted to check out the vibe. Not too busy on a Sunday mid morning and we were able to order right away. My friend ordered an Americano iced with a splash of milk and I ordered a salted caramel latte with oatmilk. I did ask for a little more caramel because the last time I ordered it wasn't sweet enough for me. We sat at the bar top overlooking the street and it was a beautiful day to sit and sip some coffees. I'll be back!

This coffee shop checked all the boxes. Friendly service, cute chill ambiance, and genuinely great coffee. I popped in after the gym wanting a little treat, and this place totally delivered. You can smell the rich coffee aroma as you're walking up the street, such a perfect welcome. They had a variety of pastries that looked so tempting, but I stayed strong this time. I went with the vanilla latte, and wow... so good. They make their vanilla in-house, and you can taste the difference. My boyfriend got the caramel latte and that one was delicious too. Everything tasted like it was made with love, not rushed, just crafted perfectly. Loved the interior vibe, and I'll definitely be back soon to try the matcha.

Best coffee in town!! Baristas are always super knowledgeable and friendly and make the best pour overs. Try the coffee black for optimal enjoyment and to get the best flavor profile. Sometimes the roast can be pricey but SO worth it and see the pic of the explanation if you're curious why! Comes with a beaker to refill your cup and some ground coffee for an aromatic experience to accompany your coffee tasting. There is one bathroom inside if needed, but mostly street parking which can be tricky depending on time of day but if you're willing to walk 1-2 blocks you'll be fine. Enjoy!! Side note - we also took their pour over course and it was super fun & informative and changed the way we brew our coffee at home (for the better)!

Matcha + vanilla syrup and ham & cheese croissant

Was driving home and decided to make a stop to have a drink while I sit in traffic and came across this coffee spot! I found parking luckily near the entrance. I was immediately greeted and helped! I was a bit nervous because I got there 40 minutes before closing so I expected the baristas to be tired and ready to go home haha. That wasn't the case at all, they were very friendly! As for the items I got, I tried the ham and cheese croissant and I didn't know it had some time of green pepper(?) or veggie. It wasn't bad, it gave it a nice crunch! And the matcha was perfect! So many places over sweeten the drink when matcha was never supposed to be sweet. It was a perfect balance with the vanilla syrup that I added. Overall, it was good and they had comfortable seats to wait on. Most likely I'll be making a stop after work from now on!

Drove passed by the many time and today, finally made the stop. You have to find street parking as there's no parking lot. Super hip and cozy neighborhood cafe. Read the story about the founder, immigrant from Columbia. Love the story. My daughter is a matcha latte fanatic and she ordered it. She loved it. I got the mango matcha latte, very different and it is delicious. We also shared a guava croissant. It was warmed and it has the r perfect flakiness to it! Friendly cashier , very sweet!

So good we went twice in a row! We ordered kids hot chocolate, iced vanilla latte and an americano with an extra shot. All were delicious! We also ordered pastries which were equally as delicious. Highly recommend!

My favorite post-Orange theory and yap spot. Enough seating if you're not here during rush hour. Not much space to work on a laptop, but still possible! Great place to catch up with friends. Helpful barista's. I always get the salted caramel with almond milk and reduced sweet. Always hits the spot :)

This is definitely a place for true coffee enthusiasts. I haven't tried their flavored drinks or desserts yet, but if you want to experience coffee at its peak, with distinct flavors and tasting notes, this is the spot. They do an excellent job explaining each bean they serve from the origin and process to the expected flavor profile -- and they guide you on the proper technique for drinking espresso shots to get the most out of the experience. It's difficult to find a place where the focus is so strongly on the craft of coffee itself, and they deliver it in an approachable and knowledgeable way. I usually feel embarrassed asking how a specific coffee bean will smell but here they make it welcoming. They even offer a small batch to smell so you can experience their signature taste, which makes it easy to connect the aromas with what you'll taste in the cup.

I saw this place as I was driving to the beach and decided to stop by. It's a small coffee shop on PCH and I love the clean minimalistic dark theme they have going on here, it fits this spot just right. The staff was friendly even recommending a few drinks that I feel were great choices. I ordered their Pumpkin spice latte. Tasted great, honestly reminded me of a pumpkin pie. This is by far the best Pumpkin spice latte that isn't reliant on sugar to make it good.

I am frequently in Little Italy in San Diego. Trying to understand your menu posted on your site. Do you have drip coffee. All I see is listed as filter coffee. Besides pastries, are there other light breakfasts available?

Howdy! Our filter coffee / Quick and Black is drip coffee.…

Who supplies your pastries? They are delicious.

Hey thank you for asking, the bakery is called Bakers Kneaded. They are a fantastic LA local operation that supplies a lot of coffee shops in the area. They don't have a physical location but they do have a regular presence at the Mar Vista farmers…

    Do they have gift certificates?

We do have electronic gift cards available for purchase online as well as physical gift cards available to purchase at our shops.

Do they have a good selection of pastries? I don't see any in the pictures. Local looking for a yummy pastry and coffee spot to walk to in the mornings.

Yes! We do have a selection of sweet and savory pastries. We do sometimes sell out later in the day but we get deliveries fresh daily.

Is indoor seating open or is there a date when it will reopen?

    Indoor seating is open

What's the store's phone number at Culver City?

    Do they have Gift Cards?

    Yes

    Do they have WiFi?

    Yes they do!

What's the largest bag of beans I can buy?

idk but i bought a pound there once
