Service is great, cute little spot close to the pier. Lots of variety and options on the menu! The coffee was great but the panini that we got was a little odd. It had a lot of sauce and got soggy quickly, and the meat wasn't that appetizing. For a coffee date it's a great spot but for a meal, may be better going somewhere else.

Walking at the beach, first time stopping here for coffee. This cafe is very clean and quiet, peaceful. The coffee beans are roasted fresh. So you know your coffee is fresh. The Barista is the owner and she is super nice. Greeting you a big smile and welcome. I will be back to try one the ice coffees. Best of all, it is across the street from the beach.

Jazzy music, more locals than tourist, simple coffees bursting with flavor! The mocha is earthy the caramel latte has a nutty undertone. The only egg bagel the have on the menu is salmon and egg but we asked for the chicken bagel with egg. The egg was perfectly fluffy the sauce on the chicken was a bit tangy like teriyaki. The worker was so sweet and quick. And for dessert we got yogurt parfaits to go, which came in a mini mason jars. Looking for good coffee and ambiance with a view come here!

This place is so clean and cute. The owner is so cute and friendly. I ordered a Matcha for an afternoon pick-me-up. I also wanted to try their unique Red Beans over Coconut Jelly which was unique and satisfied my sweet tooth. I will definitely come back here to try other snacks and drinks. Have been wanting to try this place within a few blocks of my house...finally made it this morning! Glad I did... clean and peaceful with light music playing, antique grinder and fabulous coffee. I had a latte and a wonderful almond pastry as my Valentine's Day gift to me! Jade was so pleasant and helped me pick out the right "grind" for my 1/2 lb of coffee. Sit at the window bar and watch the world go by or any of the small tables. Support small business and enjoy!

As an Australian I am constantly on a hunt for a good flatwhite and rarely come across a cafe that makes authentic Aussie flatwhite so needless to say I was very excited about this place. And No it is not just a latte in a mug like most places served here in the US. Exactly what I wanted, strong and rich espresso shots, hot, perfect amount of foam, served in a mug. It took me a good minute to realize that the owner is actually Aussie, from Sydney. The worker was super friendly and attentive, she gave us couple of madeleines to go with our coffee. The cafe itself is very clean and cute as well. Definitely will return for more authentic Aussie flat whites.

I'm rating this place 3 stars based on the service, price and cleanliness of the place. I ordered two thai teas; One for myself and the other for my fiancé. The woman behind the counter advocated for their Thai Tea and so my fiancé ordered the Thai Tea instead of her original choice of a cappuccino. The thai teas tasted nothing like a Thai tea. The thai tea was mainly milk. It wasn't sweet at all. I decided to add some of my home cold brew into it and it still didn't mask the amount of milk that was poured into these drinks. I'll give them another try at a later time and order coffee. Maybe Thai Teas aren't their thing? I think, for the price, the friendly service, and for the cleanliness, I hope you give them a shot and have a better drink than we did. Cheers!

Best new coffee shop in Redondo! I love that they roast their own coffee, which tastes smooth and so fresh. We came early to the beach and found this piece of heaven. The owner is sweet. Very clean cute location. I had the Mocha and my husband had the Americana both were delicious and served with care. We also ordered muffins. They were warm and delicious. Great place.

Friendly service, clean establishment, generous food portion and great dirty chai. The lady running the counter is also the owner. She was so sweet. We ordered a ham panini and the chicken panini; Both STACKED. We could have shared one. No complaints on the generous size though. The owner also brought out a water bowl for our dog. An extra touch of kindness. Looking forward to the jelly items and bagels upon our next visit.

We ordered the steak bagel and unfortunately it was a very disappointing experience. The meat was undercooked, looked grayish, and the whole bagel was soggy. There was also what looked like the tough end of lettuce or cabbage placed inside, which made it even more unappetizing. We ended up returning the entire bagel. Service was also slow, even though there was only one person inside, and we waited for quite a while. Overall, this was not a good experience. I hope they take the feedback seriously because the quality and service could definitely be improved. read more

As delightful as the woman was who worked the shop, I can't say the same for the food and beverage experience of it all. The vegan panini was made up of what looked like cabbage, cucumber, tomato, too much avocado spread, too much cheese, and too much sauce. The bread was burnt. The earl grey latte tasted like powder with no true resemblance of earl grey tea. Despite the disappointing food and beverage part of the experience, the coffee shop was well kept and clean. With the fragrant aroma of coffee filling the air, soft cafe vibes music played overhead, which gave the wait a relaxed feel. read more

I'm always on the hunt for a quality coffee spot near work, so I found Meravalley Coffee Roasters on a quick Gmaps search after lunch on a Wednesday. Meravalley was close by, and based on the small number of reviews, it looks relatively new or very lowkey. I brought my coworker, who was impressed by their vintage grinders, roasters, and other coffee making equipment. I liked that the menu had pictures, so I quickly settled on trying the caramel cream latte and asked for oatmilk. The drink was pretty large, so the ~$8 price wasn't too bad. What I really liked was the rich coffee flavor, the subtle caramel flavor, and, despite the mountain of whipped cream, there wasn't too much sweetness in the drink. It was quite good. I'll need to try it again to see consistency and variety for a fair rating. Overall would like to see what others think. read more

I wish I could give this location more than 1 star because I love local coffee shops. The chicken sandwich is absolutely terrible. The panini comes out soaking wet. It's a warm panini, but the chicken is cold and covered in curry. Then, the sandwich is full of wilted, warm lettuce, kraft American singles, and some sort of soppy sauce. It was the most bizarre panini I've ever had. I had to throw the entire $16 panini away, and the lady working the front saw it and didn't ask if anything was wrong. At the time, I was on a playdate with my toddler and didn't get a chance to talk to her about the food. But I will never stop by for food again. What an expensive disappointment. read more

I live nearby and don't drink coffee, so when my parents visit, they always walk to this little spot in the mornings. They love the taste of the black americano. I also like to go for their Matcha and Chai Lattes. The owners of the shop are very kind and I never wait longer than 5-10 mins. I highly recommend this place :) it's a great spot for the locals and a great place to grab a coffee if you're visiting Redondo read more

The matcha here is exceptionally authentic and of high quality - I highly recommend. The steak panini was delicious, slightly expensive, but definitely worth it. The staff member who assisted me was incredibly sweet and generous. The ambiance is bright, clean, open, and welcoming. They have plenty of seating, plus a bar area to watch the skyline/cars pass by. First time and won't be the last. Nice atmosphere and wall art. Came in with my daughter for a mocha and kids hot chocolate. The coffee was perfectly roasted and balanced. Super dirty interior, took a really long time for a hot and iced americano, hot was burnt and iced was so watered down it didn't taste like anything. Also didn't add the milk like we ordered but at that point they seemed so flustered it wasn't even worth the bother to ask. Also one of the two baristas kept coughing into her hands and touching the lids of all the cups... :/ read more

The owner was very sweet. Our salmon panini was straight black, completely burned, yet still wrapped up and given to us .Our coffee tasted burned as well. The mango in the mango jelly was fresh. read more

Finally a real coffee roaster that happens to make the best coffee drinks in the area. The inside is immaculate, well lit, welcoming and airy that will make you want to sit and enjoy your drink listening to the soft music playing. I've seen people sitting for a long time relaxing and listening to soothing music enjoying the great drinks or snacks. The food choices look good and I had a freshly made panini. Just know it takes a little time to prepare it as it's not premade. The owner/barista is quite talented and very kind making some latte art on your coffee and wanting you to enjoy your order. The passion fruit & jasmine tea is phenomenal and contains pieces of jasmine and passion fruit!!! By the way, the beans are top notch and freshly roasted not like the usual places who roasted them months before. I recently got beans at another well known area roaster and it was roasted a over a month ago. That's not right. read more

They make a decent cup of hot brewed coffee. I take my coffee black and it is a good accompaniment to their avocado toast. The avocado toast is delightfully fancy and filling, but last time it was too salty - I wonder if I can ask for "no salt" next time. I have previously enjoyed the scones from the pastry case - it's supplied daily by a bakery, so go early for those because sometimes they run out. There are some standard flavors/sources of coffee beans, but they also mix it up by featuring different ones. You can buy a bag of beans that they can grind for you according to the way you brew your coffee at home. Note that they don't have decaf beans if you want that. Plenty of parking but just a few stools to sit inside, I usually just order to go. They will answer all your questions and give you recommendations. Due to a couple of nits I would score 4.5 but rounding up to 5 for the positive experiences I've had over a few years.

While you certainly can come here for lattes and matcha, what jumped out at us were their offerings of light roasted, single origin, pour over coffees in their "emerald class". I went with their light roasted "la reserva" pour over, which had nice tea-like flavors. Because they lightly roast their beans and hand pour the coffee through a V60 filter, the fruity and tea-like notes of the beans pop out in ways you can't find in dark roasts brewed through a machine. We may come by to get a latte one of these days; however, I do also want to come back to try more of their "emerald series" pour overs!

The interesting: There was a sign that explained what Haya meant (sorry, forgot what it was), but at the time, my Japanese nanny said that Haya didn't mean that in Japanese.

They have great business acumen and customer service.

Since I go frequently, I want to first and foremost, recommend the avocado toast and the egg salad toast. Both are fresh and delicious. The only thing I would not recommend are the pastries. I find that they are either too sweet or sometimes they taste like baking soda. For the drinks: - lychee matcha serenade - this is part of their spring menu. I love the subtle taste of lychee. Upon arrival, I missed the parking structure driveway entrance at first and had to turn around. When heading east, turn into the first entrance on your right shortly after seeing Teofilo. It was crowded with so many people supporting the grand opening. So cool! Staff was outrageously welcoming and super nice. Interior was hip and cozy. Seating inside and outside are both available. Restrooms in the back of the shop. As I was in line, I was watching other customer's drink orders. What I saw were alot of different drinks leaving the counter. I had to inquiry with the cordial and friendly gentleman who took my order. Most drinks come in hot or iced. Prices were very reasonable. I ended up with Hi-Si (no ice), Shaken Bibingka (iced), Mango Dream (hot) plus Cold Brew (iced). Hey, I didn't drive a far just for one drink. Gotta taste the Filipino coffee even if it's black with nothing in it, but pure goodness. Here my take on the sips... Hi-Si didn't turn out the way I thought it would because it had no ice and they served it hot for some reason. Shaken Bibingka was top-notch and deliciously smooth, sweet, and addicting... this one is a WINNER and my top pick 110%! Mango Dream was perfectly creamy with a hint of tartness at the end... another great drink! For not being a coffee drinker, Cold Brew was actually quite good. From what I was informed, it's their signature strong coffee sourced from the Philippines and roasted in house... it goes through 24-36 hours of steeping time. What's my verdict on the cold brew? Yes, I would get it again just as it is. What goes well with coffee is a pastry. They had various croissants all lined up for the picking. Got 3 croissants. My top choice and favorite was the nutella... it was the BEST with nutella chocolate goozing out of the croissant! YUM!! Almond was decent... nothing spectacular. Pistachio matcha was a pass... a bit dry for my taste. I couldn't resist, but to take home one of their simply designed t-shirts that spoke Teofilo Coffee all over it. Got the brown one! Hoping to get the green one next time. All in all, it was a very nice visit. Both my Mom and I enjoyed amazing drinks and had a great time. We didn't get a chance to meet the owner in person, but I did see him connecting with other guests. We did however meet a really nice lady who is a relative of the owner. Thank you Miss for our wonderful conversation. We appreciate your company at our table. I intend to be back the next time I am in the Carson/Torrance area. Gotta get the Shaken Bibingka and nutella croissant in my hands once again! I'm open to trying their other specialty drinks and pastries. If you haven't given Teofilo a try, now is the time!

While he was waiting, they let him sample some of the food fresh from the counter to make sure everything was just right, and he said it absolutely was. They even offered him a gelato while he waited, which made the whole experience feel even more special. He brought home a lasagna and four slices of pizza, and I have to say it was one of the best meals I've had in a long time. I had never tasted an authentic Italian lasagna before. As a Brazilian, I grew up eating our version, which tends to be a reinvention of dishes from other countries. I have to admit... the original Italian version wins! And even though I only got to eat it after he drove it home, it was still absolutely perfect. Great food, wonderful customer service, and a memorable experience from start to finish. Fatto a Mano has definitely earned a spot on our list of places we'll keep coming back to.

We sat at a communal bench/table to enjoy our breakfast items (which they stop serving after 10:30); however, we noticed that others were eating some delicious-looking sandwiches served on their fresh baguettes. They also didn't fill the entire cup with ice which is good. They filled it about a quarter of the cup. Interior is spacious, have tables, they have a corner closed off for employees only. It's a coffee roaster(?). They sell bags of coffee so I assume it's a roaster. My only complaint if I have any, is that for my iced mocha, I didn't see any straws anywhere. I saw lids, wooden stirs, but no straws.
