From the moment we walked in, the ambiance made us feel like we had stepped into a cozy Adirondack retreat --warm, inviting, and the perfect setting for a relaxing evening. The service was prompt, pleasant, and genuinely warm. It felt effortless, like the staff truly enjoys making guests feel welcome . We visited during Saratoga Restaurant Week and chose the prix fixe menu, which turned out to be an incredible value for such an outstanding meal . My husband ordered the filet mignon and declared it one of the best--if not the best--he's ever had (definitely in his top three!). I had the trout, and it was absolutely scrumptious --perfectly prepared and full of flavor. From start to finish, the whole experience exceeded our expectations. We're already planning our next visit!

On the night that I was there, I had the option of ordering from their weekly specials, or their regular menu. Additionally, it was restaurant week so I could choose that menu as well. Wow! With my glass of Malbec we ordered their restaurant week duck cassoulet, grilled shrimp with mango salsa as well as the filet mignon steak frites. Lastly finishing off with a delightful crème brûlée. My tummy was more than satisfied on this cold evening. Service here was wonderful and the staff were attentive without being overly intrusive. The Wishing Well, a local favorite is where you go for an enjoyable evening of fine dining.

The counter server immediately greeted me and knew I was there for pickup. She accommodated a last minute request for a Diet Coke and rang me out. She didn't miss a beat - offered napkins, silverware, condiments, salsa, etc. Once all set , I journeyed home and thoroughly enjoyed my hot food! The sandwich consisted of a multi-grain hard roll, American cheese, a healthy portion of bacon and one fried egg. Paired this with their salsa verde and it was made my tastebuds dance. Never thought salsa on an American style breakfast sandwich would match, but it was great! Hands down, the BEST home fries I've had in New York State (including "the city"). They appear unsuspecting, but when you place them in your mouth, there's an explosion of flavor that takes over from the boiled red potatoes to the garlic and onion...possibly boiled in broth or stock? You won't want to miss these! Go on over to Comprades and give them a try.

I initially went for breakfast and I've continued to frequent this location often for breakfast. The staff is very attentive and always accommodating of any request that you have. Breakfast is varied from traditional American breakfasts as well as those with more of a Hispanic flare which I recommend! Food always arrives very quickly, which is really what you want in a breakfast place. In the summertime once it's warm enough, they have a tented back patio that allows you to have a experience outside. If you are looking for a place to enjoy breakfast I definitely recommend.

Upon walking in the host and servers were super nice and we were seated promptly. The space itself is super nice! Not crowded at all but definitely means you should make a reservation as they are super popular! Food was amazing! DO NOT MISS THE ROLLS! I'd come back just for the rolls, they were so soft, fluffy, and light with the perfect flaky salt on top to balance with the whipped honey butter. Delicious! Everything else was also great, the hanger steak is also tender and loved the hash that came with it and the crab spaghetti had ample crab meat in it. Presentation was gorgeous. Love the seasonal menus and you really can't go wrong with anything here. We skipped out on dessert but I'm sure there's great options too. Highly recommend and hope to be back!

The charm of the inn for me really was the historic features of the building. Built in 1773, the building is a stone structure and really has an old time feel to it. I was surprised by how large and spacious it was, as it does not look big on the outside. Food and service were very good. We were given complementary bread and butter. I ordered the French onion soup and hot turkey sandwich. The French onion soup was one of the best I have tried. I liked the broiled cheese and flavor. Turkey sandwich was quality turkey meat and gravy flavor. I feel you got a lot of food for the price. My husband shared his burger was one of the best he can remember recently. Our table had a view of an outside herb garden. A lovely and memorable dining experience.

When our waiter came to take our drink orders, I asked if the specialty lattes that were available at Mrs. London's Bakery, which is attached to the restaurant, and I was told no. I honestly thought the two businesses were affiliated and didn't understand why that was the case because you could order a pastry basket for the table. I think having specialty drinks from Mrs. London's would really elevate their brunch experience. Just my two cents! Our waiter was very friendly and attentive. I tried the asparagus and mushroom omelet, which came with home fries, and really enjoyed it. I definitely recommend making reservations if you're visiting on a Saturday or Sunday, and don't forget to grab some pastries to go from Mrs. London's on your way out!

The burger was delicious, although pretty messy (that's good or bad depending on opinion lol) The chicken sandwich had great flavor, but I thought could have used more sauce as it felt kind of dry.
