Friends and I decided to go out to eat since it worked out that we're all together at the same time. I wanted a breakfast. I was also curious because I know Compadres Diner has Mexican food. They're on Route 9 in Saratoga they're in a very bright adorable blue building you go inside and there's the main Diner and then in the back they have a patio where you can bring a dog to sit outside. I brought my Charlie. Everyone was played when we got in they told us where we could sit and everything was clean and cute and nice. My one friend left because I bought my dog. My other friend and I ordered breakfast. My friend got eggs eyeballs up with a hash that he really liked. I got one egg bacon hash browns and in English muffin. Breakfast was really awesome I also got tea and horchata. The hash browns were lovely I haven't had any in a while. Everything was great. My horchata was awesome. We decided to get lunch because there's a mouse and we didn't want to shop and leave food on the counter until we displaced the mouse. We ordered a Philly cheese steak and al pastor tostadas. When we got home we were tired so my roommate put everything in the fridge. Normally if I know I'm going to eat it later I leave it out so it doesn't get cold. I was worried when I went to reheat it wouldn't be good but it was awesome. We had the tostadas. Roommate had two before me and then there was one left over. It is made with pork and I don't know it's in an Al Pastor but it is my favorite Mexican food item now. [Tostadas Choice of Meat, Black Beans, Lettuce, Tomato, Queso Fresco, and Sour Cream] I'm not a huge Bean fan but everything about this item was amazing and I will be ordering it again. The next day was lunch time and we pulled out a Philly cheese steak. I'd ask for the onions and peppers on the side cuz my stomach doesn't always like onions and peppers but there were some peppers in this though. There was also a container of onion and peppers. I took the fries and the sandwich out and put it on a tower grate that goes in the air fryer and halfway through I flipped the sandwich over so it get crispy on both sides. It's this thing was amazing leftover I can't imagine what it tasted like have you ate it there. And now that I'm thinking about it I really want to get in the car and go and get myself another Philly cheesecake. The fries were awesome they reheated awesome also. Roommate and I were very happy with the entire meal and the service. I would totally recommend people go to Compadres diner for breakfast and for Mexican. I didn't take any pictures there but when I had my yummy Philly cheese steak I took a few pictures of it and it is award-winning worthy.

Soon to be called Compadres Diner, this new Mexican-American spot has something for everyone. The menu is extensive and has choices for traditional Mexican, Americanized-Mexican and regular hearty breakfast/lunch diner choices. We chose "regular" tacos, traditional tacos (one shrimp and one fish), tamales (which I was most excited about!), chips, salsa and guacamole. Servings are generous-especially the regular tacos and tamales. Traditional tacos are just the right size; the tortillas were a little different but homemade. Guacamole was delicious and so was the salsa. Homemade hot sauces had perfect kicks. I spied some other meals and observed giant fluffy pancakes, awesome looking omelettes and a kid enjoying his burger with fries. Service was friendly and fast. Wishing them long lasting success!! Will definitely be back.

Best omelette I've ever eaten.cute little spot they have a outside patio definitely coming back . Thank you.

Best omelette I've ever eat.Nice little spot they have a patio to sitting outside. Definitely coming back. Thank you!

Penny à la vodka, chicken tacos. EPIC taco! The melted mozzarella on top holds it to altogether.

Diner food to the MAX! Had the Penny à la vodka, chicken tacos. They also come in Alfredo chicken tacos, or pesto pasta chicken tacos. This is just one of the many crazy creations at this incredible diner. The staff is friendly, fast and efficient. The ambience was like any typical diner experience. Everything was very clean and well maintenance.

    Fajitas not what you expect.

From the moment we walked in, the ambiance made us feel like we had stepped into a cozy Adirondack retreat --warm, inviting, and the perfect setting for a relaxing evening. The service was prompt, pleasant, and genuinely warm. It felt effortless, like the staff truly enjoys making guests feel welcome . We visited during Saratoga Restaurant Week and chose the prix fixe menu, which turned out to be an incredible value for such an outstanding meal . My husband ordered the filet mignon and declared it one of the best--if not the best--he's ever had (definitely in his top three!). I had the trout, and it was absolutely scrumptious --perfectly prepared and full of flavor. From start to finish, the whole experience exceeded our expectations. I requested to sit at the chef's table because I really do like to see what's going on in the kitchen and our reservation is at 7:15 and we arrived a half hour early and we're able to be sat so that was nice. We were greeted by one of the servers in the restaurant and then shortly after another came by and asked if we wanted still or sparkling water and that our server would be there with us in a second. It took a little bit longer for our server to come by and he took our drink orders. The line chef started to realize that our server was taking quite a while so we asked us what he wanted him to start so that he can relay it to our server when he got around to us, and I thought that was very nice and great that he recognized that we were waiting for quite a while. Our server finally came back with our drinks and asked what we wanted to get started and we told him that they already started our appetizers. He also didn't come back for quite a while after that and he finally asked us what we wanted for dinner and he didn't ask how the food was or anything. He just said OK cool and put in our food order. When we got our actual entrée, I had the New York strip steak and my husband had the scallops and they were very good. We ordered those entrées because the line chef said they were good and we wouldn't be disappointed and we were not. Our server finally came back around after everyone else buster plates and asked if we wanted anything for dessert and we already made up our mind what we wanted. I ordered the coconut rice pudding and my husband ordered the pistachio cheesecake. Both of those were also very good highly recommend them if you have room at the end of your meal. Our server then came back with our bill and just randomly said he took off one of our desserts because of the weight which was nice but he didn't really acknowledge anything else. We thought it was very odd but also we were happy about that. This restaurant was very good and I think the staff is very in tuned to what's going on in the restaurant if something is not as it should and they communicate to others if they need to start food for people or accommodate other people's needs so that's the only reason that I'm giving it a 4 because the server we had wasn't great but the food and everything else was awesome.

We had a reservation through RESY (Amex Rewards), and when we arrived right on time, the hostess let us know there were no tables available yet and that the wait would be about 30-40 minutes. We completely understand that weekends are busy, and we never expect to be seated immediately, but we had just come from an athletic event and our kids were starving. Since it was a busy weekend, we decided to wait rather than scramble to find another spot. The menu looked very appetizing and we ordered a breakfast plate for our son, tomato soup, lobster pizza, and a burger. The breakfast was solid, your classic bacon, eggs, and potatoes. The tomato soup looked beautiful but was a bit underseasoned, and we felt the same about the lobster pizza. Everything was presented really well, but the flavors just didn't quite match the visual appeal. Our server also seemed to be juggling quite a few tables, so refills were a little hard to come by, which we completely understand during a rush. That said, the ambiance is wonderful. It's lively, welcoming, and absolutely beautiful inside. We truly wanted the food to match the vibe and hope this was just an off day, because it's a great spot with a lot going for it.
