Nice people, good burgers, plenty of beers to choose from. We went on a Monday night which was the $5 burger. $1 extra for cheese - comes with lettuce and tomato, and a choice of tater tots, French fries, or sweet potato fries. Excellent! They have tables outside and inside as well as the bar - games to keep you entertained and specials every night. Went here visiting my daughter. Large outdoor seating area to accommodate our small dog. While short staffed our server was prompt and courteous . Although it overlooks the shopping center it's set further back and they had a decent menu..burgers grilled cheese varieties salads etc. decent pricing and good service. read more

Large space with plenty of seating indoors, outdoors, and at the bar. Selection of beers is vast. Ton of great craft beers to choose from. They have a few tasty IPA's I would definitely come back for. The food was disappointing. I wasn't expecting much, but something as simple as nachos left a lot more to be desired. Granted, that was the only menu item we tried. However, if that's an indication of what the rest of the food tastes like, I think I'll pass and stick with beer. Service was great. A group of us went here last night to check it out and the food was very good. Our waitress was very nice & helpful. It's a very interesting menu with different varieties of taste and I appreciated it because it was not too overwhelming with multiple things listed on the menu. Just enough to give you a little something different than usual. Our drinks were great. The waitress helped us make some decisions and she did phenomenal. I had ordered a double espresso martini & honestly it was delicious. The rest of the table ordered beer on draft and it was delicious as well. I had the sweet heat bbq burger with jalapeños added & that was a great burger. The fries it came with were delicious as well. The only thing was we sat inside and it was a little too warm inside for all of us. But, other than that I would definitely come back here again. Everyone was friendly & helpful. I had high hopes for this place. Instead, the beer prices were high (unless it is happy hour) and the food was subpar. Our nachos were cold and wings were just fair. During our entire stay (about an hour and a half), I was never offered a beer refill. The beer choices were plentiful and bartender was kind and hardworking, but since he was the only staff there, service was lacking. Went for the first time last night, and was impressed! The selection of beers on tap they have is amazing (and yes 99.9% are available)! We were also there on karaoke night which made the environment very lively. The crowd was very diverse and ranged from mid 20s to 60s. The food was good too! Love the cheese fries with bacon! Lotsa beers available. Prices aren't too bad. I honestly have to say the food is horrendous. This actually wouldn't be a bad spot if they had one decent signature plate. The burgers... 1/4 lb patties that you cannot request to be cooked how you like because they're so small. Is it that difficult to put out a decent burger? Shame shame. Put some effort into the menus. If you're a wing snob, I haven't tried a flavor that is decent yet. The regular buffalo have no spice to them and you'll have to add some bottled hot sauce to spice them up. Stella drafts are $7 and $1.50 off at happy hour 3-7pm. Which is meh but whatever. There is a few of these in the state. I hope they're not all putting out crappy food. 4 1/2 stars?! C'mon foodies!!??? This is a 5 star spot all the way. I can't speak for all, but speaking from my own personal experiences; GREAT.... They have "TEMPURA BEER" batter.... that itself should leave your mouth watering. It's always so refreshing for me when I see a restaurant with a menu and drink list that actually feels like it took some "brain-power" to create. A menu that is original, creative, and colorful is always an instant and immediate attraction for me. There is something for EVERYONE on this menu. Korean bbq pork sliders, Baja chicken flatbreads, a burger with kogi slaw on a brioche bun, a HOT DOG with kogi slaw, and SIRLOIN STEAK NACHOS. Not to mention when it's time to wash down all the deliciousness; there are 80 beer taps. Come see for yourself, and live a little!!! A group of ladies and I met up for some drinks and food last night. I didn't realize they had trivia on Thursday nights, so it was extra entertainment for the ones that wanted to participate. We sat outside at a high top table and had some delicious ciders, wine, and beers. I went for the Broski passion fruit cider and enjoyed the refreshing crisp taste during the weekly happy hour. The draft list is huge, so be prepared to get one, two, or all of them. The neat part is that the server usually gives you a sample if you request it. Hunger was coming on and I ordered the prime rib sliders. The meat was flavorful and juicy on butter brioche buns and it went well with the side of au jus. I thought there were going to be more fries and it was a little high for what I got. I didn't complain about it since I used a coupon from an email I got. I would definitely try something else next time! Our server was great. He recommended what he thought we would like and made sure we we were happy with our food and drinks. Plus, there's corn hole and giant Jenga blocks to play. We got off to a shaky start. Went in after 10pm for a quick bite after our meeting. No greeting, waited and waited. Saw two menus and went over and got them. A young guy came over and took our drink order and said our servers name but she still never came. He ended up taking our order. All was forgiven when we got our fish and chips. It was beautiful! Before our butts could hit our seats at the bar, the bartender basically told us that it was going to be a while for food which was fine with us. We just wanted a drink. One day was just walking around checking out places ,and I came upon,The Brass Top , decided to stop and have a drink,had lots of beers on tap ,I was curious I work in the hotel industry I have never seeing or hear of some of these beer ,so I try one call monkey something was ok for a first timer ,end up having two beer with two shot of tequila a tequila I have never try before,but it was great order some chip ,the server/bartender lady was polite after finishing up and about to leave,I saw the manager on the side doing something,I went over to him to ask more about the place,he spent some time to answer my questions,you can see he was happy to answer my questions about the place, overall I will visit again read more

Compelled to update and upgrade my rating based on merit. In my previous review I lamented about the high price on some of the beers and thanks Andrew for pointing out that there are 2 $4 beers on the menu of 200 and at happy hour they would be less $1.50 LOL There is probably a reason they are 4 bucks just like I am sure there is a reason why a beer would be 9 or 10 bucks. You can drink the $2.50 beer bro. Saying that many of the beers are priced out of my range is a statement not an indictment If folks are willing to pay the price than cool. But make no mistake there is always at the least an affordable great tasting beer or three that has the high ABV I desire and the reasonable price I require. Sarasota's Big Top Brewing's Ashley Gang Outlaw IPA does the trick for me and until they run out it's my go to. At 9.8 % I paid 5.50 x 2 ( Happy Hour is $1.50 off drafts till 7). I also enjoyed 2 $2 fish tacos it being taco Tuesday and it came with tortilla chips, salsa and sour cream. Great tacos indeed. I was out the door for $15 bucks plus a nice tip for good service by Randy. (Shout out to Cody here too great bartender). Shot the breeze a bit with some regulars and watched some TV. They do have a ton of TV's and will put on any sport you want anytime. Left before bottle cap bingo started but thats always fun. I must say the bathroom was immaculate. Looks like they are on point again. I dont like to be disparaged for giving my honest opinion so let me address another derogatory remark posted by Andrew (Mr. 1 Yelp review) G, talk to me and I will tell you the truth about what happened with me and Howie being asked to leave and subsequently being asked to come back even though its really none of your business. I wanted to address some of the ridiculously wrong points brought up in an earlier review, but instead of wasting my time with that, I'll give you the top reasons why Brass Tap is an amazing spot to visit whether you're a local or you've finally made it to your long planned Boynton Beach vacation: 1) The staff is HOT. They're also really nice, which is important, but being hot is even more important. 2) The grilled cheese has so much cheese. 3) The chalkboard has really nice handwriting. Aesthetics matter! 4) Ask for the malort, it's a really tasty specialty shot. 5) This place is the Wilt Chamberlain of beers. All of them, all sizes, all colors. 6) Touchtunes. 7) There's a Michael's nearby, which is convenient in the event you need a bucket and want to decorate it first. Only negative, there is no sign that indicates where the restroom is so I accidentally ended up in the kitchen, but even the cooks were all cool as hell and taught me how to make a mean ceviche. read more

Huge fan of this place. There are a ton of rotating beers and ciders so there's something for everyone (even if you're not a beer drinker). Some of the food is surprisingly good (great wings), though some dishes are definitely a miss. Some of the staff is really fantastic and knowledgeable with great recommendations and will make an effort to remember you the next time you come. Others, not so much so it really depends on the day. I love that there's a new activity there for each day of the week (trivia, karaoke, etc.) and different food and drink specials. Great place nearby that's becoming our go-to casual bar. read more

It was a good place to grab something last minute. The chip and dip is thick and chunky and amazing. Also pet friendly outside. The tacos were good. Only the bad part is if you sit outside the cigarette smokers which I can't tolerate sadly. They can't control it and I think it's allowed not 100% on it but no go for me. Huge selection of beers by the way with so many flavors. Usually come here now and then for good time and food. They have games outside as well. OMG... If there is such a thing as a perfect bar... This has gota be it.. The place feels like your at home. The food is very well done. So as we walked in , we was greeted right away. She said feel free to sit any place. That's cool we sat out on the patio cause I smoke. The server came to us about a minute later with the drink menu. Omg again I have never seen so many beers. We was totaly confused. He said we could try a 4 beer sampler for only $10. We look at each other and said tomorrow morning is gona suck lol. The food is awesome kelly had the steak nachos and I had the wings. They was both done to perfection. They also had a live band there , not the best band. But they was not the worst eather. I've been coming here off and on for about 7 years, and I have been living within walking distance for the last 4. It has always been my old reliable. I like to try new places, but I always keep The Brass Tap in my pocket as a sure thing if I want a decent meal, until tonight. The service was excellent. The food was a huge let down. It didn't taste bad, but they introduced a new menu recently and the portions shrunk and they got rid of the sweet potato fries. My go too for the last few years has been a triple jalapeno pub burger. I didn't see it on the menu and I also didn't see it say two patties with the option for a triple. The server told me they increased the size of the burgers, but I am not sure I believe that. You get more meat from a double quarter pounder from McDonalds for 1/3 the price. Shameful. I will be boycotting until they change the menu again. Totally not worth the money even remotely. read more

I love this place. Seriously just a good place to catch a game, grab a beer or a burger. I have been here week after week after week to play trivia on Thursday nights. It's always jam packed and so much fun. Wilma McAwesome, the trivia host, and Megan who is the assistant, are both a lot of fun! They make an absolutely delicious burger, and fantastic fries. The pretzels and beer cheese, also am excellent choice. Like beer? They have a few...hundred! Ya know...Brass Tap...get it? Yeah now you do! I have literally never had a bad thing on the menu. Rachel and Cassandra are both excellent, hard working waitresses, and super nice people as well. All in all, I really recommend this place. It's just a great place to keep it low key! read more

The Brass Tap has quickly turned into one of my favorite spots. We've been here several times now and it's always been great. The service is top notch - the servers are very knowledgable about the different beers they have on tap and have given great suggestions based on our preferences. They always bring us as many "tastes" we'd like until we find the perfect selection. The food is delicious and very reasonably priced. We love the pretzel pizzas and the Mac&cheese is soo yummy! So far, everything we've tried has been really good. Happy hour M-F and live music Friday and Saturday nights. Well we were hoping to find this place and love it! But....we didn't. The food was just okay. First time we went I had the fish and chips. Not good. My boyfriend had the buffalo chicken wrap. Not good. The second time we went was for lunch. We both had a burger. Not good. I told my boyfriend "don't look up". Well the air conditioning vents were full of mold, all different color of mold... yucky.. I lost my appetite at that point. All of the air conditioning vents were moldy. I like this place. It's a mile from home. There's so much good beer. My two besties live a mile from here, as do I. We met here quickly and happily. I had the Oskar Blues Deviant Dales IPA, the Bells Two Hearted IPA, and the Sixpoint Hi-Res IPA (10 1/2 % I might add). All were awesome. I had my server pick them for me and I loved them all. There's so much beer, clean bathrooms, good service, and a relaxed vibe. The only reason I gave it one less star is because it's missing something to make it shine. Our server was good but I looked over at the bar and both bartenders were on their phone and the bar didn't look too lively. There was some sort of fun missing in the air.
