First of all, both server and bartenders did not know what the "Thursday" drink was. It was posted on their website. All employees should be aware of all specials. Food took forever to come out, and when it did, it was brought out by the manager and not by our server..the manager, apologized for the wait (which I appreciated). When it was time to leave, I asked the server for the tab.. she looked our tab up and just gave me an amount.. AND stood with a tray full of drinks and WAITED for me to pay her! She could of at least dropped off her drinks and came back! I would of really appreciated an itemized receipt to see what I was getting charged for at least. Restaurant was clean, probably because it's brand new. But I highly recommend having some heaters for the ones sitting outdoors in that fog. I understand this is a new restaurant, but 3-4 months in, you would think that they would have everything on track and everybody on the same page. read more

Saturday afternoon, not too crowded. We sat at the bar and the bartender (women) not too helpful with food selection or with the beer on tap. The hubby found it odd, the beer menu had no descriptions or information regarding what was in all those beers on tap? However, there were two bartenders (men) who made some food suggestions and had good vibes. We ordered sides, tots, Brussel sprouts and a burger. The Ambiance is nice and open for a sports bar. It was odd all the TV screens were turned off. Maybe technical difficulties. The TVs finally turned on 5 minutes before we left? We're locals and would love to support locally. Hello, decided to try a new place out when visiting Camel this weekend. I wanted to sit outside and was told by the host that were was not enough staff and no food to be severed out on the fake grass area just drinks. You build a new bar and tell the customers they can not eat out side because of short staff shame on the owner inside was getting to loud. The beer was cold and good then tried the brisket grilled cheese with fries and both were not hot enough and the cheese was not melted. Then I ask the bartender to have the bill and made me wait 7 mins and was not the same bartender that handled my bill and did not give me my change I had to ask for it two times. I know this is a know place but this kind of problems should not be happening and staff should have name tags when problems happen like this again. Will not be coming back any time soon. read more

My boyfriend and I have been several times to unwind after work as it's less than a five minute drive from our apartment and we love coming here to chill! The food is decent-not the best but not the worst but I've always gotten good service and it's nice as we've come so often a lot of the staff remember us and greet us like old friends when we come in. Great uncomplicated food, great beer and cocktail choices, great service and awesome environment. Marina has been needing this. Food was excellent and well priced. Expect 20-30$ per person. We had a margarita flight, 2 burgers, appetizer , and a beer all were very fairly priced. They have a nice outdoor area with games and fire pits , plenty of tvs for sports, and DOG FRIENDLY. Will be coming back often. I did experience a wait and guess I'm more understanding than other reviewers. This business is still in SOFT OPENING, and working out kinks/improving. I was so thrilled that a drinking establishment opened up near my college campus! I had a great 3 appetizers that my server.... ( I think her name was Elana) was happy to split on plate (and tab) for me and my friend. The food came surprisingly fast for how busy it looked and our server checked in with us and was so personable and bubbly. Best part was hearing about our server's dog, YODA and how he is also a chihuahua like my grandmother's late dawg. We've been here a couple times now (Peninsula locals) and have had wonderful service by Bridget both times! She is knowledgeable about the beers, has good food suggestions and is attentive throughout the meal. We've enjoyed the BBQ pulled pork Mac n cheese bites both times which are bomb. This time tried the Brussels sprouts which were tasty but roasted a tad too dark for my liking (balsamic glaze drizzle was delish). 16-yo son has had brisket grilled cheese first time (loved it) and ribeye sando this time which he said was OK but a little small. Our friend had the steak nachos which were tasty. There are TVs all around at ceiling level showing all different sports so there's something for everyone. It hasn't been overly loud both times we've been in. There's a large outside seating area with couches, fire pits, and games (I think I saw cornhole). Plenty of parking. Visited on a Monday around 3PM and it was not busy. Waitress was great and checked in with us often. We ordered the brisket tacos and brisket grilled cheese. The grilled cheese was cold, and the cheese wasn't melted. The chips served with the tacos were stale. We ordered some draft brews, and one of the glasses had lipstick on it. Waitress apologized and poured another one. The second glass also had lipstick on it. Needless to say, we didn't stay long and left to grab drinks at the General's Bar down the way. Ambiance at the Brass Tap was dull and for not being busy, the floors were sticky and dirty. We won't be back anytime soon. Hopefully, management will get a grasp on the issues they are having so far. read more

Food: We each ordered the Fish and Chips. I ordered tater tots instead of fries. The size of fish was so small. My family joked that it was hard to tell which was the fish and which were the tots. The fish tasted good but I was offended about how small was the fish portion. I also didn't like the aioli sauce with the fish. I would have preferred tartar sauce or cocktail sauce over the mayonnaise and ketchup that was provided. Service: The waitress was friendly but she never refilled my water. She was not familiar with the beer types and could not answer my questions. I also asked for the manager to give my review of the fish. No manager ever came. Last night we went to celebrate my friends birthday. That was our first time there. We waiting for almost TWO hours which we were okay BUT WE asked to see how long of a wait more and the person said 30 minutes to an hour so we went to the store to grab a drink we didn't even take 20 minutes at the store. So we get there again and I go and tell him we are still wanting the table he told me that they had already called us and I said "well we went to the store since you said it was going to take 30 to an hour" his response was "I didn't ask you where you went." He has no customer service AT ALL. But guess who that person was.... It was the OWNER ! Wow I was shook. I will never recommend this place to anyone one the wait is too long and second the owner is rude. That was my first and last time going there. Was at this place a few days ago for the first time. The food was ok, it is pub fare and "middle of road" quality. We had wings, the pizza, and the loaded tot's. The tots were good but could have been loaded a bit more, but the large serving quantity and good fry and demonstrated they know how to cook tots (not greasy and not falling part). Pizza and wings were so-so. But what made the visit a bit negative was one of my guests re-ordered a beer and the bartender picked up a beer that was previously sitting for awhile, smelled it, then topped it off with the beer that was ordered (gross). Sent it back and made sure we got a clean glass and also the proper beer that was ordered. The service was not that good- our wait person did not pay attention to us, did not bring condiments out with the order, when we asked after having to wait to flag her down; she brought one small plastics cup with catchup (for 4 people ??) and then took awhile for the tobacco....was not good. So, overall will go back if convenient and hungry for a beer and so-so bar food. Also, its a bit expensive related to what they actually bring to the table. read more

A few friends and I went at 8pm and were told the wait time would be 30 minutes. No big deal.. We end up waiting an hour and a half. Once seated, we ordered one round of drinks. We remained seated for another 40 minutes waiting for our waiter to come take our order. During this wait time, we have one more person join our table last minute. We asked our waiter if we can be switched to a 6 person table or if we can grab another chair that's not being used. We were told they could not accommodate this request due to a "fire hazard" and that we would be putting the "community in danger". We were told an extra chair would be blocking the walking pathway. Mind you, there were other tables sticking out far more than ours. A male staff member told us the tables had to be a certain distance apart due to code. When we asked what that distance was, we were told it was none of our business. Their suggestion was for our party (who already has been waiting for at least two hours), to close out the tab, get up, and wait for a 6 person table to open up. Our party was very patient with this establishment in waiting for service. It's unfortunate that they are unable to accommodate a simple request and would rather loose customers. Needless to say, we never got a chance to order food as the service took long and then we had this issue to deal with. Our waiter was kind and professional. We were not pleased with the management.
