We ordered a burger and BBQ nachos and and hour plus later and many complaints we got ice cold nachos and a burger! Yay right... Again they were packed it happens but someone should have been helping the kitchen, the server/manager/bartender all in one (slammed) took care of us and explained the mistakes and made the experience better. Came here for trivia one night and had a pretty good time. Service was good, but the food left a bit to be desired. It was a Tuesday and their menu online for the Towson location says, and I quote, "Grab two chicken taco's and a 16oz house margarita for just $10", when we mentioned this, our server looked puzzled and was made me feel weird for asking. I didn't mind too much because we were there in time for some HH goodies. We ended up ordering the chicken nachos, pretzels with beer cheese and boom boom shrimp. The chicken on the nachos was odd and rubbery. The boom boom shrimp was reallly good! I didn't like the pretzels, but my husband really enjoyed them. Beers came out fast and the service was friendly and quick (other than the awkward taco convo). Just a girl out here tryna drink a marg, eat some tacos and get her butt kicked at trivia ya know! This is my second review because the first time I never tried their drinks. This time around I set at the bar during lunch time on a weekday. Defined a chill location and conveniently located inside the mall. I ordered a grilled chicken ceasar Salad. It came out pretty quickly BUT the lettuce appeared to be old and wilted. The grilled chicken was dry and tough to chew. In my last review the chicken was actually good. So I don't know if there's a different cook this time around or the chicken was left over from the night before. It was not freshly grilled. The Margarita was extremely sour and I like sour but not this. The mixture tasted pre-made from a bottle and not fresh. The bartender was apologetic and did acknowledge the appearance of the Salad. My sons and I decided to eat here. It was our very first time eating indoors since the global health crisis and I must admit, I was scared. Like terrified kind of scared. Thankfully, it was not busy at all since we went early in the day. Plus, we were able to choose a table that was not near anyone else. Side note: I think it was my first and last time eating indoors at a restaurant for quite some time. Too risky for me. We each ordered something different (all typical bar food): Impossible burger with fries, fried shrimp with fries, and chicken tenders with fries. Everyone enjoyed their food. It was all freshly cooked. The tenders are definitely made in house. My son liked them but did mention that he'd try something else next time. There are 2 options for the Impossible burger: single or double. I ordered the single. It filled me up but if you're pretty hungry, you might want to get the double. I would have liked a few more toppings on my burger such as onions and a few more pickles and tomatoes. Also, I removed the part of the bread with butter. I'm not sure if they use salted butter or unsalted but it seemed to make the overall burger too salty. My preference is to have the bun without the butter. The fries are crinkle cut but not as thick as your typical crinkle cut fry but still good. Overall, it's a cool place to stop by to grab a quick bite to eat. read more

You want to stop for a beer while you're shopping, you'll have plenty of beer options here; liquor or wine, not so much, but then it is named after a beer tap. The atmosphere is decent, pretty standard for most sports bars, but not a ton of character. The food isn't that great though, particularly for what they're charging. It's fine if you catch a deal during happy hour. But really, I'd rather leave the mall entirely and find something better in Towson. And if you're at the Mt. Vernon location, there's just so many way better bars in that district; I don't know how they even compete there. read more

We live in Seattle, so when we travel we always try to find the local offerings and The Brass Tap has their menu set up in a way you can easily find what is local and what isn't. One got tots (delicious) and one got fries (not so good, like the frozen kind). My girlfriend got nachos, which were such a good choice! They had great ingredients, piled high. If you like a lot of cheese on your nachos, then chicken nachos is right for you; there also was an good amount of chicken on it too. There are TVs all around the room and above the bar. The mac and cheese came in a mini iron skillet. I knew this might be problematic when I saw it: The bacon on top was crispy and some burnt, and the spiral macaroni was swimming in a liquid cheese sauce that looks like it was squirt on. The drinks were nice and strong for 5 bucks and not watered down. It was clean and the ambience was sleek. I just really disliked the fact that I can see people walking in the mall.
