Service was quick and simple. Wasn't too crowded when I came in. Got here just in time to take advantage of the happy hour prices. My order was the boom boom shrimp and chicken tacos. I'm starting to feel like once you have had boom boom shrimp one place, you had it every where. The flavor was really no different from any other place I have had boom boom sauce. Chicken tacos were pretty good. Fresh jalapeños gave it a good kick. The place can fill up soon with customers and it is a seat yourself establishment. Music and games are playing but not too loud

Food was good, wings and Brussel sprouts. Great service, food was good. The area inside is limited space; also my chair was shaky, they may want to check and replace chairs before someone falls. It's a cool warm good atmosphere especially on trivia night. Note: You do seat yourself, very casual..

The service was good. I tried their new flight margaritas and garlic fries. The only thing was wrong the fries was drained enough lots of grease. I went back the other day and got a rum and coke wasn't strong at all so i will continue with my margarita flight.

Super chill bar to hang on Sunday Funday! Located inside Towson Town Center. Met up with a friend yesterday. Olivia, our server was great. Initially, MacKenzie sat us down, and she was very friendly as well. I wanted to try a cider, but nothing too sweet, and they let me try a few different ones. I liked the mango mimosa one - not sweet at all, but tasty. I had a jalapeño cheese burger with fries. It was good but not spicy as I had hoped. It was at least filling. My friend got the pork quesadilla and he thought it was ok but a bit on the salty side. Overall, it's a nice place to hang. I would come back again. Family friendly with decent prices. Parking in the lot is tight. Just park in the garage!

Told us wings were on special then came back and said no. We won $10 off gift cards at Bingo, but then they did not honor them. Food was meh and drinks were expensive (did not give us happy hour prices even though we ordered at 6:30 and happy hour stops at 7). Nachos were limp and skimped on steak. Won't be back.

We came here Friday night for trivia. The trivia was ok. The questions were really obscure and their was so much time between questions, so folks were able to use their phone to look up answers. The service was great. Absolutely no issues there. The place was clean. Plenty of seating. It's attached to the mall, so plenty of parking. The food was not very good. We ordered the chips and queso, and that ok. The tater tots had no seasoning or flavor. The side of buffalo cauliflower was about 4 pieces of cauliflower with a drizzle of buffalo sauce. The cheese pizza did not have a lot of flavor and the crust just tasted oily. Others at the table said the wings were good. I also ordered the strawberry mule and that was pretty good. I would come back for the drinks but would not spend money or the calories on the food. UPDATE based on owner's response to my review. The only thing that was modified was the adding of onions to the 5 cheese flat bread. It was a few sprinkle of onions on top which was surprisingly disappointing. I do not believe that would alter the tatse of the bottom of the pizza which had an oily taste that was weird.

We found the Music Bingo event on Facebook and decided to check it out. This place is tucked on front side of Dulaney Valley of the Towson Town Center mall. You must be over 21 to dine on the inside after certain times. One thing for sure they start on time. We already missed a few rounds, but no worries the host made her rounds to include all new guests. The game was free to play- win-win. So we were given a play card that had two bingo cards and a pen. All you have to do is listen for the song and check it off your card if it is played. Easy, right? Also if you don't know the song, the host will pop around or announce the name of the song to help. What songs was played? A mix of new and oldies but goodies. Okay, now what did we indulge into? Well I love wings- ordered the naked dry rub spicy wings. Sorry no pic, your gurl here was trying to play bingo and wat at the same time. But they are worth trying! Hubby had the fish and chips and ordered a beer and Moscow . Of course I did order a shot which are reduced after 9. Plus, I ordered the chocolate chip cookies and ice cream for dessert. It was okay but I am not one to complain, but too many chocolate chips ruined it for me. Overall, service was good and the entertainment was awesome. Oh I won a bingo game!!

Nice restaurant / bar. Connected to Towson mall. They show sports on all tvs. So. Great place to watch Sunday games. It varies between busy and loud to quiet and calm. Food is sissy's on point. Bartender andrew is great. Always remembers your order. And everything comes out on time. Wings were great. Shrimp too. Salad. With shrimp. I honestly never had a bad meal there and it's pretty friendly. Dress casual and enjoy this sports bar

Came to visit with a friend here on a Wednesday night. It was also Music Bingo night!! I got the nachos with steak, which was big enough for 2-3 people and very good! I don't drink so my water was always filled. Our waitress was very nice! Shared parking with Friday's and other shops on the exterior of the mall. Has You can walk in through the main mall doors or the entrance to the Brass Tap itself. Although we didn't play, Music Bingo was delightful. Good music from the 90s and 2000's. At this time, they closed at 9PM ET. I would come back again definetly!

We actually went to the wrong location and didn't realize since we aren't from there. We were visiting from central California but I'm low key glad we did. The bartender wasn't sure what a michelada was but after we talked about it she pulled it off (and alcohol free) and it was so good! We had the Korean bbq nachos and they were so good that we could not stop eating them! And of course, dessert. Yum. For being inside of a mall it was not loud and annoying. I enjoyed the ambiance entirely. Very pleased.

Sadly, our server, Hope, I think, said the item had been taken off the menus despite many requests for it from patrons over time. While our other selections, crab cakes, salads, were very good we had been psyched for the now "86ed" chicken and waffles. The waitress recommended I reach out to Steve, as manager, to add the C&W on the menu, at least as a special occasionally. I would happily return to sample it, if this were to happen. Thanks. It was not good at all. Advertised thin crust was not thin at all and reminded of cardboard. Toppings were not much better and we agreed it was average frozen pizza quality. Pretty much a waste of calories and carbs. We have had better food from here from regular menu and wished they would offer specials from that. Towson just seems a bit sad these days and this place kind of feels same. A shame since it was on our regular rotation many years ago.

We moved to AZ 7 years ago and quickly learned that there is no such thing as a good crabcake outside of Maryland. A few years after our wedding, the restaurant changed hands and became McFaul's Ironhorse Tavern. Initially, we were a bit concerned but that concern proved to be unfounded! With every trip back to MD, we always tried to stop into McFauls for - yup, a Maryland Crabcake (broiled), an ear or two of MD sweet corn and a cold Natty Boh! (My Dad used to work for National Brewing Co., so the beer choice was nostalgic, but honest! There is NO Natty Boh west of the Mississippi!) Anyway, nostalgia played a role in our choice of dining at McFaul's - but only ever so slightly! Until last night! We arrived at 5:30pm and had our choice of seating. It was a bit too warm to dine outside, so we chose a table for four near the fireplace. Two other tables were being served and the entire restaurant had not hit it's peak customer load! I settled in for my latest crabcake dinner. I chose the single crab cake with two sides. (Dinner: $35.00) but I am getting ahead of myself. Service was slow, waters only came right out and then the wait began. 10 minutes later, our server arrived to take our drink order. Of course, I ordered a can of Natty Boh. I also asked for a glass for my beer. 8 minutes later, the beer arrived (no glass.) Other drinks wandered in, but still no glass for the beer. I drank my water (which was also served in a beer-type glass) and waited. Our server returned to take our dinner order (still no glass!) Orders now placed and my can of Boh still needing a glass, I finished my water and poured (properly, of course) my Natty Boh into my empty, but still cold water glass. I enjoyed the first sip! Ahhhhh! Table talk proceeded and I started to dream of my cake! (BTW - no choice of broiled or fried!) Our server returned with a menu adjustment for one of our guests - kitchen was out of something. Oh yeah, my frosted glass finally arrived. (Too late!) Here's the sad part... our dinners were just so so. My small crabcake was surronded by about 25 fries and a mini Caeser's Salad. I had asked for two cups of cocktail sauce - I received one cocktail sauce and one tarter sauce. I have seen bigger crabcakes in the frozen food section of Giant Food. I was even served a cake twice as large at Camden Yards - of all places - for $28.00! One of our guests that ordered Fish & Chips received a full plate Caeser's Salad and about 50-60 fries (for way less money!) Here's my rap... I was not even mildly impressed by our food, service or ambiance! My, how the mighty have fallen. I will now remove McFaul's (with great sadness) from my "Must Visit When in MD" list! Reasons are as above, but for those that don't like to read all the dastardly details - Mediocre Food, Slow Unattentive Service, and A Tavern Ambiance that sorely needs a refresh! Sorry Folks, but Baltimore has WAY better to offer! SMH!

During our conversation, I mentioned that my wife absolutely loved a specialty burger from his previous restaurant. That restaurant closed several years ago, and the burger isn't on Nepenthe's menu. Without hesitation, Chef Andrew told me that if I gave him some advance notice and brought her in, he would get the ingredients and make it especially for her. So that's exactly what I did for her birthday. When the burger arrived, my wife was genuinely surprised. Chef Andrew even added a candle to the plate to make the occasion extra special. The burger was everything she remembered. She often says she compares every burger she eats to that one, but had resigned herself to the idea that she'd never have it again. Bravo, Chef Andrew. What makes this story even more remarkable is that I had only met him once before. This wasn't something I asked him to do--he was the one who suggested it. That's the kind of hospitality is something I'll never forget. The food at Nepenthe is consistently good, and the atmosphere is fun, lively, and full of energy. It's a great spot for happy hours, trivia nights, and group gatherings. I'll never forget the kindness and hospitality we experienced. This is Baltimore hospitality at its finest.
