The ambiance and service was amazing! Spent the weekend at pismo and loved the vibes here, even on a Saturday night for college ball. The drinks were hand crafted, beautiful, and delicious. We shared a spicy crispy chicken sandwich recommended by our server which didn't disappoint. We were planning on catching a game before heading on to the next bar but ended up staying a while, especially since they close later than the other local spots. Would love to come again to try some more food on our next visit! read more

We really needed a good local sports bar and this place did not disappoint! It was very clean and the service was phenomenal. We got the smash burger with fries and the Buffalo wings. The burger was reminiscent of In N Out but in a good way. The fries had great seasoning and were thick cut but still crispy. The wings were nice and crispy as well. Clean and service was very good! Food was hit and miss. We ordered a few items to get a good feel for the menu. The halibut slider was the best item on the menu and the one thing I would order again. Poke sampler was average. 2 out of 3 items on it were decent. The salmon poke needs to be revisited. Quinoa salad could have been very good but too much dressing/sauce. New place in Pismo Beach. We had lunch with veggie kabobs for the vegan and the Halibut slider and Crispy Clam taco for me. Taco was fine but not great. The veggie kabobs were slightly undercooked but they did not have the other veggie option available. Glass of wine was fine and priced correctly. Husband had a beer. For now the draft beers are heavy on IPAs but they do have plenty of can and bottle options. Fish slider was so good I just went back and got two for dinner. Not your Grandmas filet of fish. Perfectly cooked and so fresh. Delicious. Got the chowder cup and it was good but on the spicy side which was a surprise. Nothing on the menu about spicy. Service was good and the place has a nice vibe. We will be back. read more

THE BREAK has it all; great drinks, a unique menu, TVs, 90s/2000s Playlist, and a staff that keeps you coming back! If you are looking for somewhere tograb a drink with friends after a long day... it's here, a place to watch the game... they got you, looking for something different to eat besides the normal Pismo fare of fried food or tacos, yup! they got you. I recommend taking a seat at the bar, eating their Jamaican Pies and sipping on their Coconut Mojito.. if you don't feel like you are sitting at a spot in the Carribean a la Pismo Beach.. then you are doing it wrong. Those Pies are flavorful and light... no greasy, heavy stomach feeling going on here. While you are at it satisfy those taste buds with their Tempura Spicy Roll. Our server told us kids menu was about the same price as a slider ($10) and was actually a slider and came with fries. Got the bill and it was the same price as the adult burger and fries. Didn't make any sense. When we had 3 kiddos eating off the "kids menu" it because a $24 difference. Perhaps they should print off some kids menus or at least be truthful about what the kids menu entails. Good was good. Fries are excellent. However, the lack of transparency would probably be a dealbreaker for me and I would rather patronize another establishment. read more

As silly as this may sound for the bar food aficionados in the crowd, the french fries were the best I've ever had. The cut and the seasoning were perfect. On top of that, the clam chowder was excellent with a hint of spice. The guy sitting next to me had the most delicious looking fish tacos I've ever seen and he said it was fabulous.
