The food was pretty bland but I guess that's what the salt, pepper, and condiments were for. The muffin was too chewy. The service was excellent and the $15 bottomless mimosas was a great deal

Service is good, food is good. Small indoor dining and somewhat lager patio seating, you could also grab anything to go. Today I used a BOGO deal from SLOeats app, My only gripe is my breakfast burrito was hiding very old avocado and if they're going to do that personally I'd rather omit that. The portion for one burrito is a lot! Come hungry. Decent breakfast burrito but even without the avocado not the best in the area, if you follow me you should already know who holds my heart and where to find the best! If not DM me I'll share.

I made a quick stop here before a long drive. I ordered the breakfast sandwich with bacon and cheddar cheese on a bagel. They loaded the sandwich with protein and the service was friendly and quick.

Checked this place out during a college tour trip with my daughter. She wanted brunch and happy to find this place Had waffles, eggs Benedict and an omelet. Jeff, the owner, was super friendly and made us feel welcome! Will definitely come back if we're in the area again!

My partner and I wanted some quick breakfast to munch on since we had a long drive ahead of us. The food was pretty fast and tasty I had the biscuits and gravy with a side of fruit. My partner had the hangover helper burrito which he said it was filling and tasty. The service was pretty quick, we walked in they handed us the menus and we found our own seats. We were greeted with our server and it was pretty nice very helpful. The place its self is like a little nook on a busy street had a cozy vibe inside. They could do some upgrading possibly provide their staff with some aprons or what not. Good breakfast spot for on the road.

We ordered scrambled eggs, French toast, veggie sandwich with some salad. Food took a while to come as they had lot of customers. It was a good breakfast. No complaints.

I found this spot after a quick Google search for brunch in DTSLO after I inadvertently had the day off from work. I had a donut from another downtown spot that tickled my appetite and wanted a full plate a food to get the energy I needed for the day. Being only a 12 minute walk from the downtown library, I waltzed over here to find a full patio and quaint indoor dining room. I walked up to the counter and was greeted by a young, dirty blonde that asked me what I needed. She quoted me a five minute wait time and directed me to a bench on the patio. . They seated me promptly within my wait time at the first table I saw upon walking up to the diner. A square four top in the corner facing the street. Coupled with some great valley/mountain views I excited to have my first brunch in San Luis. I ordered a mimosa and the California Benedict. I didn't have to order water because my server came with a glass for me already. . I wasn't able to take pictures of my food because I asked my server to charge my phone while I was eating. The presentation of the plate was messy, but the food was scrumptious. The avocado seeped into the English muffin and was the perfect bed for a medium poached egg. It was also smothered in hollandaise sauce and came with home fries. A salt and peppered hair gentleman check in on me while I was eating and complimented my reading choice. I cleaned my plate, read my book, finished my mimosa and enjoyed the epic views. Grand total was $20.55 (pre-tip). This same dish would have easily costed upwards of $30 closer to the town center. I was happy I got to explore and always love a good neighborhood spot. Am excited to bring my best friend here and will be back again!

The tip o' Argentina was solid with the garlic aioli and the chimmichurri perfectly complimenting the steak and the lettuce and tomato adding a little bit of freshness. The buns they use for all of their sliders are soft, slightly sweet, and don't fall apart while you're eating. The Bahn Mi was even better. I love pork but was a little skeptical about pulled pork on a slider riffing on the flavors of a bahn mi. To my surprise and delight, it tasted just like grilled Vietnamese pork, which was perfectly complimented by the fresh and pickled veggies and surprisingly hot jalapeño. Finally, I got the garlic fries which were a massive portion, crisp, and very garlicky. A number of venues are here, so drop by, at least for a walk-around. Large kitchen in what would have been an outbuilding, we joined a few other people to make our order. The genuine friendliness from everyone was nice. And the menu was wonderfully different from any other breakfast/lunch place you have been to before. Very cleaver mix of Mexican and traditional entrees, along with a full scale coffee bar that would compete well against any of the commercial brew houses around. KV Lemon Poppyseed Waffle ($15) with real maple syrup, Carnitas Scramble ($16) bowl with three eggs, salsa and feta, Bonetti Bowl ($17) of potato hash and sausage saute topped with 2 eggs, bacon strips, and chipotle aioli and, Biscuits & Gravy ($14) topped with country sausage gravy, 2 over medium eggs and two bacon. Getting the idea? Wife loves lemons and her love was reinforced with the waffle and I just loved the biscuits and gravy, with the sausage dominant. Both breakfasts were loaded with flavor and the freshly brewed coffees topped it all off. We ate inside, as it was chilly outdoors, but there are tables outside on a patio and deck. We will seek Kitchen and Vine out for a return meal and our guess is that the lunches will be just as good as their friendly service. Yum.

I placed my order on the kiosk, which I found very easy to use. I ordered Smoothie 5 and Panini 6. This came out to $36.97. For the smoothie, I subbed out strawberries (because I'm allergic) and added bananas. I found that to be a really great option that they have at no extra charge. For the panini, I didn't realize they had half and full orders until I got up to the kiosk. I opted for the full order, and then realized once I sat down that I probably would have been better off with the half option. My smoothie arrived at the table at 11:49, whereas my panini arrived at 11:53, so the wait in total was about 15 minutes which is not bad at all for how busy it was. My friends ordered the Greens 5 with prosciutto, Toast 4, Bowl 1, Bowl 6, and everyone agreed that we would definitely come back. One thing that was funny to us is that we felt like the photos on the menu looked smaller than the portions that actually arrived. My friend ordered the Greens and a Bowl thinking it would be small, and she realized very quickly that she was going to need a takeout box for her salad. (This is a good problem to have, rather than the other way around!). The service was also top notch. Even though I ordered on the kiosk, I was still able to interact with the employees, as they frequently came around to ask if they could clear off plates from our table. I also went up to the front to ask for a box, and she kindly directed me to where the boxes were located that I could just grab. Next time, I would definitely mentally prepare myself for how busy it is, but for the quality of ingredients, and the portion size, I think it is great and would definitely come back.

So, we decided to go here instead of Starbucks. I get Starbucks often for the convenience but wanted a good cup of coffee, not my mediocre "usual." We were a group of five, with three kiddos; two were on the younger side and a bit picky. Once we figured out what the kids wanted, we went to the counter to order at 11:03 AM. As you can imagine, getting two little girls out of their comfort zone for our late "breakfast" took a little work. When we reached the counter to order, the cashier told us, "Oh, sorry, we stop serving the bagel sandwiches at 11 AM," as she removed the bagel menu that had been sitting on the counter. That's fine, if that is policy, then that is policy. The rest of us placed our orders. I was able to get my daughter to order avocado toast but my sister had to take my niece across the way to Starbucks for a bagel. So, when I came in to grab my food and saw bagel sandwiches on the counter prepared, I assumed someone had ordered them before us. I was wrong because, while I was waiting for our food, a man who had been in line behind us came up and grabbed one of them. Shortly after that, I noticed a woman came into the café as I was getting some napkins eating a bagel sandwich. That was an even bigger shock because she had come in at least ten minutes after us. On top of that the cashier seemed incredibly annoyed with us when we asked questions about the menu and made substitutions. Long story short, the food we did get was great, however, the entire situation was super frustrating. The avocado toast with prosciutto and burrata was delicious, and my chai latte hit the spot. Due to running to multiple places to get everyone else situated, I didn't really get to sit and enjoy my meal, and neither did my sister. We won't be going back in the future due to our experience with the cashier.

Every item seemed to be priced 25-50% more than I wanted to spend. Walked past Kreuzberg and initially thought it was only coffee and pastries. The whole layout is immaculate. Outdoor seating, indoor group seating and even a few private seats in the corner that give it a VIP ambiance. Hidden inside was a narrow lounge area with turntables with a bar area at the end. A DJ was set to start at 8pm. The music genre schedule varies. I will return. The burrito was top tier. Side of chips added to the filling satisfaction. Only downside was the price but if you add the quality service, cleanliness, vibe and atmosphere...the value is there.

It was past 7pm and the place was still hoppin' with groups on the outdoor patio, back room lounge and main area. It has more of a restaurant/club vibe than a coffee shop which gives it a special charm. When asked about their chai the friendly barista was happy to share that they don't use dry powder, they use a spicy concentrate. That's one plus!! But, it's not a house brew, it's basic Third Street Chai you buy off the shelf at the local grocer, chef supply, or natural foods store :( To their credit, they heat it up well and top it with a fancy cinnamon design on the milk foam. When asked if there is a local chai, the barista (who is a chai fan) couldn't think of any. This explains why the local reviews were so good for mediocre concentrate. While the chai quest was a miss here in SLO, Kreuzberg is still a pretty cool spot, with a fun, social vibe, friendly, helpful staff, and some tasty looking items on their menu (just not a stop for chai).

I saw several beautiful drinks on Yelp when I chose The Oak Grill. I walked in, the restaurant is polished and pretty, with the bar an obvious focal point. The server, Chloe, at the door waited for me to speak first, which is awkward to begin with, and I had to verbalize that I wanted breakfast. I mean... why else would I be walking into your restaurant? She explained I order there at the front counter and the food would be brought out to me. That's fine. I asked if they have mimosas and she looked at me and goes, "Mimosas?" Um, yes. Mimosas. She said "Yeah, technically, but it's up to the person working up here if they *want* to make you a drink or not. I mean, technically I'm not a bartender." I seriously almost just walked out based on that answer. You have a full bar, you serve alcohol, but only if the cashier wants to make you a drink? Is the rest of the menu also based on the cashier's discretion? Are you capable of pouring champagne and a splash of orange juice into a glass? There are 5 employees milling about, and none of them are bartenders? So... I'm not impressed by the service here and based on that alone I won't be back. I'm just gonna drink this mimosa, wait for my chilaquiles, ask for a box and bounce. I'm irritated I just paid $50 (yes, $50 for chicken chilaquiles and one begrudgingly made mimosa cost me $50) to feel like I inconvenienced them coming in. I didn't ask for a side order of apathy with my breakfast, and for that price, I'm sure I can find an actual bartender.
