Went to the original location while visiting so was very excited to see this location in the airport so we could have some wings and waffles. Place was half empty so we told the hostess we preferred to sit in the back booth but it was only half clean (cleaning rag still on the table and noticeable amount of trash on the floor) so she told us to wait at a nearby table and she would have someone clean it. When a waitress came by to give us water I politely mentioned that we would be sitting at the booth we were just waiting for it to be cleaned. I didn't ask her to clean it and made sure I wasn't rude. She rolled her eyes at me and said she would clean it and gave me a lot of attitude which frustrated me because I wasn't rude to her at all. Originally told my boyfriend I wanted to leave because it made me uncomfortable but he insisted that we stay. Her attitude stayed pretty much through serving us breakfast. Only "extra" thing my boyfriend asked for was a glass of ice and he was even hesitant in asking for that. If not for her attitude I would give this place a solid 4 stars. The food was close to the original. The chicken is well seasoned and the waffle was good and we left full. I truly don't like leaving negative reviews based on service however this one really rubbed me the wrong way. The best part of this short visit the afternoon of Friday April 20 the was the service. The young lady at the register and the cook were pleasant and attentive. However the restaurant does not offer a side for the coffee (which could have been fresher). No donuts or pastries which seems out of order for a breakfast place. Although they offer super breakfast sandwiches and other breakfast items they don't seem to focus on smaller pieces. Maybe it's their marketing model but I find it surprising. Service was good. But the wings and waffle signature dish was not up to the standards as the original location. The wings were really dark and had that kind of burnt taste when the the grease needs to be filtered or changed. I spoke with the manager and she explained they had new friers. And I told her that wasn't good enough because I eat at the original location all the time. I told her they needed to get it fixed so they don't serve anyone else the same meal I had. read more

Food was okay, huge portions. But we ordered a few Baileys which came to $13.50 each. And one was a much smaller pour than the others. We thought that was a bit excessive so we asked the price of the drinks advertised on the table advertisement as it didn't have a price and the server said it was $17.50. This restaurant is conveniently located in the Delta terminal. It was the first place i saw with table service rather than quick to go food. Service was a bit slow but the food was good. I had a chicken club and it was delicious. Someone else had the chicken and waffles. They serve breakfast all day and the food that I saw at the table next to us looked amazing. I am a little glad that my flight was delayed, because I got a chance to have breakfast with a nice staff of charming people. Courtney Rose was my waitress and she was real sweet and happy to help and serve. It's really nice to have that attitude and pleasant grace especially after getting both legs of your connected flight delayed. I enjoyed so much my ham bacon eggs sandwich along with grits. The coffee was great too. I prefer it than the other places here. Courtney answered all my questions and gave me plenty of attention. I think this spot is under rated. We had a great experience waiting for our flight. Some others mentioned the price, but when the food arrives it's enough to feed three. Hot and fresh and out in minutes. Our server, khea, Was great with the kids, remembered everything and checked on us. She also knew her menu perfectly. We relaxed for quite some time awaiting our flight and the booth was super spacious. Looked like mostly young people working, it was actually refreshing to see how well trained they were as well as appearing to be happy with their jobs. A testament to both them and the management. We set out to visit this on Sun and the line was around the corner so we passed and went elsewhere. Monday we decided to give it a go and walked right in. You order and pay first and then set your self and everything is self service. I order a coffee and was handed a sticky mug. Everything was sticky lol. No biggie though because I was excited about the chicken and waffles. Food came out really quick. Looked great. Just like the pics on yelp. Food was mediocre. I paid $20 for chicken and waffles and a coffee. Overpriced for breakfast food. My friend had the fish and grits and it was just ok. Neither of us finished our meal. I grabbed a bite to eat during some time in the airport. The waitress was filled with some good old fashioned Texas hospitality. I ordered wings and grits, with a coffee, which came to just over $20. Hoping they work out kinks. Eggs were over cooked and swimming in butter to the point I asked for a plate and napkins to transfer them and pat butter off. (Waitress offered to recook but we are in an airport where time is of the essence so I declined). Grits were cold. Never got a coffee refill despite manager refilling table next to me. They have only been open a few weeks so will try it again but my advice is to ask for cook to limit his butter if at all possible. read more
