I attached a few photos from our dinner last night because the presentation and portion sizes deserve to be seen! The first dish is the Spicy Asian Beef & Broccoli, which was bursting with flavor and cooked perfectly. The second and third photos are of the Cape Cod Reuben--seriously, just look at the size of that piece of fish! It was massive, flaky, perfectly cooked, and incredibly delicious. The fourth photo is the Native Honey Scallops, made with large sea scallops--not the tiny bay scallops--and they were tender, perfectly cooked, and full of flavor. Every dish we tried exceeded our expectations, and it's easy to see why this has become one of our favorite places to eat. The staff is another reason we'll keep coming back. The servers are always friendly, attentive, and accommodating, making sure everyone at the table has what they need without ever feeling rushed. If you're looking for consistently great food, huge portions, excellent service, and a menu with endless options, Gateway Tavern is well worth the visit. I like my Prime Rib rare, but, in the past, I always had to settle for medium rare or sometimes a little more than that. However, this night, all they had left was medium well. We ordered it anyway. The old taste was there, except there was way too much pepper. I don't think I would spend that kind of money again unless I could get a medium rare piece without an overdose of pepper. At the end of the meal, I was presented an electronic pad where the server stands over you while you have to put in a tip to make payment. I hate these things. The Prime Rib at Mezza Luna is way better and only $4 more.

Best breakfast joint, hands down. This place is really just fantastic. The food is great, the French toast is honestly heavenly and to die for. I swear I've dreamt about it before. Hash is amazing. Everything is made right there from scratch from what I've heard. I talk fondly of this place often, and always recommend it to friends and family. The staff is always friendly, food is always amazing, I have never had a complaint here. Been going with my family shortly after they opened and will continue to go back. Riverside has a typical breakfast place feel to it, and is just really solid on all levels- if you're looking for a good ol' fashioned breakfast place, this is it! If I could give it a zero star I would. My family as well as my extended family will no longer be visiting this establishment. I will say that a few years ago I would have gone nowhere else but. The past year it has gone downhill fast with their food. I honestly was just going for an amazing sister team Gabrielle and Danielle that I believe held the place together. It's not only about the food but it is about the presentation and the staff that work there. I always enjoy going to this restaurant. They have delicious food and wonderful people that work there. There is a very nice setting that is comfortable and home like. They really are on top of their game especially with the coffee. The owner (who is just as sweet as pie) came out and asked us how we were doing and how we enjoyed our food. I used to go here frequently. BUT - the man that works out front has proven to be a big gossip. I keep hearing him making remarks about other people. Then, the straw that broke the camel's back was when a close friend of mine overheard him making a negative ethnic remark about ME! I'm not going back. I found the place on Yelp, and it was justva short walk from my hotel. When I walked into the parking lot, I knew it looked like my kind of place. I walked inside and the sign said "Seat Yourself", so I did. Very quickly, a pleasant lady walked over with menus and greeted me. As I looked around, I could tell this was a place the locals ate, so I knew it was going to be good! The nice lady, whose name is Cathy, came back with my drink, and took my order. The guy in the next booth had finished eating, so I spoke to him. He was very friendly, and confirmed my thought that this was a place locals loved. When Cathy came by to refill my drink, we talked for a couple of minutes. I told her that I loved hearing her call the local customers by name. Before she walked away, I told her that I was now a "local for the day". She confirmed and said I was her new BFF! The food came, and as expected, it was fantastic! I told Cathy that the fried potatoes reminded me of the ones my grandmother made for ne, when I was a child... and very good memory! Cathy checked on me often, and shared some history about Leo's. She quietly dropped off the check, and never made me feel rushed. Overall, it was a very pleasant and relaxing experience. To make it even better, she walked by my table and dropped off an Oreo scone for me to try! OMG! I'd never had a scone before! This one may have spoiled me! When I was all done, I walked up to the counter to pay, and tell my new BFF thanks and goodbye. She introduced me to the girl that made the homemade scones, so I was able to tell her how awesome they were. We talked for just a few more minutes, and I talked about bringing my wife and son up that way for vacation. Cathy said that she looked forward to meeting them, and then gave me a hug on the way out.
