Wow! This was my first time here and it was soooooo delicious! The Vietnamese iced coffee was amazing! I'm not used to having such good iced coffee at a sit down breakfast spot. This was such a nice treat! I paired it with a pumpkin bread---perfect for a rainy fall day! For the mains, we ordered ube waffles and the classic Benedict. I can't decide which I loved more because both were amazing! The ube waffle was unlike anything I've ever had and it was worth the hype the waitress gave it! It was so delicious. The classic Benedict may have been the best I've ever had! The sauce was so good and I was told it's made fresh in house daily! You could tell! The potatoes looked like average ones but they were truly out of this world. They exceeded first look expectations. Honestly, I would eat here daily if I was close by! The service was great too. They went above and beyond! You can tell everyone loves working there. All other tables seemed equally as happy with food and service! The spot is cute. This is a very unassuming place from the outside and you would no know that wonders inside. They have lots of delicious looking standard breakfast items but if you are feeling a little adventurous you can see the Asian influences that must come from the owners. There are breakfast sandwiches that have kimchi on them and waffles with Thai tea. I had a waffle with mango and a torched merengue with a side of bacon and it was heavenly. It was a bit pricey for breakfast. My waffle with a side of bacon, coffee and a giant cookie to go was $30 but it was SO good. I will definitely be back regardless. It is really nice when you are served a meal which meets the expectation generated by its name or description - which is often not the case. My kimchi Benedict met my expectation. Home made deliciously spicy kimchi was sitting beneath perfectly poached eggs and generously apportioned roasted pulled pork on an English muffin and completed with an improvement on standard hollandaise. My wife ordered the Thai Panang Benedict and Thai iced tea. The Thai iced tea was perfect. Top that off with great service and you get the wonderful breakfast experience we had at The Loafy Lark in Wareham on our way back from the Cape this morning. Let me start by saying I'm a foodie and admittedly a bit of a food snob. I love farm-to-table dining, house-made baked treats, and any spot that combines a relaxed vibe with great service. With friends coming into town for a canal walk, we decided to meet at Loafy for brunch. My daughter was home from college and all of us wanted to go out and try a new breakfast place and my wife suggested here as she had noticed it recently. When we arrived it was packed but only waited 5 minutes for a table, the staff was really pleasant when we were seated. The interior is clean and tasteful but very noisy. My wife had eggs toast and sausage and ham, and my daughter had eggs Benedict, and I had a sampler tray and we also shared a banana caramel waffle. The food came out fairly quick and tasted decent, the sausage was a bit disappointing as it was like premium brown and serve style. I saw this Loafy Lark on TikTok. The people that were reviewing it were ranting and raving about it so this past weekend, I told my Husband we're gonna go check it out. It's only half an hour from our home. We went there. There was a waiting line which if it's good food, I don't mind waiting. We waited about 20 minutes to a half an hour for a table while all along there was an empty two top in the middle of the floor that nobody ever ended up sitting at. The inside of the building and the bathrooms were clean. I will say that 100% nice atmosphere kind of boring and blah however acceptable. I ordered eggs Benedict how do you mess up a poached egg with Canadian bacon some hollandaise sauce, and English muffin with home fries it was the worst eggs Benedict I've ever had in my entire life. It was bland no flavor at all, the Canadian bacon was burnt and dry, and the burns on the edges were unacceptable. The English muffin was barely cooked, so it was hard to cut. You had to rip it apart and the home. Fries tasted like pure oil from the fryolator. My husband ordered this dish he couldn't pronounce called Uova in Purgatorio. It consists of three baked eggs, spicy tomato sauce, Parmesan basil and a baguette, and it says that it's spicy he loves spicy food however it was like Campbell's tomato soup with Tabasco sauce in it with three eggs that had no flavor because they were in the soup and the only thing that he did say was good with the baguettes they were on the side cooked perfectly. As far as I'm concerned, it was one and done. Never will I go back! When you're sitting at the small two top table, there's nowhere to put your purse. It has to go on the floor. Well, I have a Louis Vuitton purse that I chose not to put on the floor. I put it on my feet. I also will say that the tables are so cluttered unnecessary things such as ketchup cream for your coffee, sugar, packets, salt, pepper, jellies why not just bring that out if you order something that required that condiment? And finally, I have to mention that the people sitting at the table next to us they didn't have any more creamers in their little cup that was taking up most of their table, so they had to lean over to grab ours. I just had to write a review. This was an easy 5 star for both me and my fiancé. Even though we did takeout, the couple minutes spent inside was very cozy and clean yet professional. I really have to add, we've been on this side of MA for little over a year now and we've tried so many restaurants from breakfast-dinner and from so many selections of food, and this by far has to be number 1 for us. The creativity with cultural dishes, the layer of flavors, it's really all in one, most especially in a place like MA. We're from Florida, which is a huge boiling pot of different cultures and tastes, and since being here it's honestly hard to find a place with just sub par flavor lol, and this restaurant executed it perfectly, if we weren't so comfy in our pjs we'd come in to give our thanks to the chef. REVIEW October 6, 2025 - Loafty Lark - 5 My friend Dee and I tried this new place in Wareham for the first time today after I saw another person's Facebook review on it. As soon as I walked in I felt it was gonna be good. We seated ourselves at a table with two chairs. A waitress named Micaela came over and took our drink order. We both looked over the menu. Our waitress came back and we ordered our breakfasts. I decided to get the Mediterranean omelette with no red onion. Dee decided to get the omelette of her choice. Both our breakfasts came with a choice of toast and a side of hash browns. Once the food came I was at ahhhh with myself. The presentation was a work of art. I was very undecided about should I actually eat this or hang it up on the wall. My decision didn't take long, I did decide to eat the whole thing. Dee ate all of hers too. In my entire 26 years of knowing each other I've never seen her clean her plate. I could tell she liked her's very much because her plate looked like she put it through the dishwasher it was so clean. Once we both finished our breakfast, our waitress came over and gave us our bill. Our waitress was amazing. She had an upbeat personality, a smile upon her face and an overall positivity about her, that just made our dining experience all that much better. I went to this restaurant after wanting to try it for awhile. I had the Kimchi Benedict and it was excellent. I asked to exchange the English muffin for gluten free toast which at most restaurants might be an upcharge. I was charged for an order of toast. So no english muffin and I had to pay full price for the toast. The toast was white and not toasted but still hard so I did not eat it. The home fries were thick French fries deep fried. The worst kind of home fries. I went by myself and unfortunately got seated at a small table in the middle of the front of the restaurant right in front of the door which kept opening and closing so it was uncomfortably cold The benedict was very good, the rest not so much. I would maybe go back but now I know that I have to advocate for myself there and ask for a seat not in front of the door, do not order gluten free toast (just go without bread) and do not get the home fries. The home fries were super crispy and seasoned very well. Such a great twist on a traditional breakfast which is all too common.
