Absolutely unacceptable experience. We waited 1.5 hours for ONE stuffed quahog to come out -- with no utensils. Our oysters still hadn't come, and we were actually told they might come out after our entrees. Another 25+ minutes passed and still no food. At this point it was 9:30 PM, I'm pregnant, hungry, and we had a two-hour drive home. We finally asked to cancel everything that hadn't come out and made it VERY clear we would pay for what we had received. Instead of simply handling that reasonable request, an employee named Nicki said, "Charge them for everything, they're rude." Excuse me? Nearly TWO HOURS without our dinner, and somehow we're the problem? Our waitress Rene was wonderful and clearly embarrassed by how the situation was handled. The staff is so professional, yet so friendly. The food was so good. I tried the Clam Chowder and it was the best I've ever eaten. The fried Haddock fish sandwich was so thick I couldn't even get my mouth around it. I had to cut the sandwich into bite size pieces. The stuffed clam was so tasty I wanted to get an order to go. Ocean view location from the dining room and seasonal outdoor patio. From the Patio you can watch the boats come in and out of the Marina. Sat at the bar per usual. Their bar is very beautiful. Nice choice of draft beers. Chilled glasses always add to the taste. Our server was fantastic! We asked about oysters and she said that the fisherman hadn't made the delivery yet, so we ordered shrimp cakes as an app. They were good. Soon it was reported that the fisherman had delivered fresh caught oysters! The owner prepped them and soon we had six, freshest, good sized, delicious oysters! So good we ordered 6 more. Also had the Ahi tuna appetizer ! This was very good. We will be back before we head south in September! read more

The atmosphere is neat. Right on the water if you sit on the patio area. Exactly the type of atmosphere you expect from a seaside tourist town. We ordered the poke bowl, chicken tenders, lobster roll, Salmon and quahogs.... The chicken tenders, poke bowl and lobster roll were good. We never got the quahogs. And they "forgot" to put the salmon order in. So that came extremely after the other 3 meals. When the salmon came, it was undercooked and had to go back in the oven. Once it was fully cooked, it was good. I get 3 stars is harsh when the food was good. But it was 4 star seaside food, and because of the missing salmon and quahogs and then undercooked salmon, gotta dock it another star. If you get all your good on time and cooked well, it's a 4 star joint. But for me, it was just 3 stars. The waitress was extremely friendly though. read more

Four of us popped in without a reservation and really enjoyed our Saturday evening, with three of us having the cedar salmon and one the roasted haddock. Visiting from out of town, this family of four went to Stonebridge for dinner on 9/14. Restaurant was quite empty so we were able to get a table quickly. Placed an order for drinks and food. Drinks arrived, then three of the meals. We asked our waitress about the fourth meal - evidently she forgot to put the order in. I then continued to watch her chatting it up with co-workers. She didn't come back until my son's meal was delivered & by then the rest of us had finished eating. It was easily 20-25 min. Never asked if we wanted another drink, dessert, etc. I understand mistakes can happen, but this is just poor service. The food was mediocre at best. Never had a manager come to the table and apologize for the mistake. This is elementary-101 customer service and because of that she was LUCKY she got a 15% tip. We were quickly seated on the outdoor patio which has a good view of the water. We ordered stuffed quahogs as appetizers, the tuna poke bowl, lobster roll, chicken tenders and the salmon. Unfortunately, the kitchen forgot the stuffed quahogs so we didn't get to try them. They also brought 3 out of 4 meals since they also forgot the salmon. Our waitress was very apologetic and brought out a side of fries for the missing meal. When they did bring the salmon, it was not cooked through and needed to be sent back to the kitchen. We sat at the bar and were promptly served, our waitperson was Brooke. She made polite conversation, as we had appetizers and a terrific lunch. Normally we would never order a steak in a restaurant, chanced it and it was great, perfectly cooked, over a risotto, that was spot on. A kitchen runner delivered our food with finesse enjoying his job. Another kitchen staff enquired if we were satisfied, clearly taking pride in their work. Even the owner Justin, introduced himself. The kitchen was visible from a side door, it was spotless, with line cooks cleaning their stations as they worked. We dine out often and would highly recommend this hidden gem. read more

Well went for dinner on 7/16/24 with a 5:30 reservation. We were seated promptly, of course it was early, and Sean came and introduced himself as our waiter. There were 4 of us 2 couples we ordered a water, a coke, glass of wine, and a Kettle 1 martini straight up wit a twist. The coke and water were served in an 8oz plastic tumbler, the wine in a 5 oz glass an inch from the top, and the martini in a rocks glass with no twist. For a place with above average prices I expected a little more. I mean what restaurant doesn't have a stemmed martini glass. Ok on two dinner, Sean brought out two plates, then disappeared for a few minutes, then brought out another plate, and told me mine would be ready in a minute. The others were 1/2 done when my meal arrived. He also didn't bring my wife her veggies but she is too kind to say so. He also brought 4 slices of bread, we all has a piece but we're never offered more. One of the others was done first and Sean promptly cleared their plate while we were still eating. The food was OK nothing to die over. It is important to have a properly trained staff, that was not the case here. As you move farther in there is indoor seating which opens onto a wonderful open covered porch that looks onto the Stonebridge marina where you can enjoy a view of the water and Onset Bay. So pretty. The staff is friendly and attentive. I ordered the Fried Haddock Sandwich and my husband had the Thanksgiving Chicken sandwich. Our problem came when we ordered our sides. Our only choices were a wedge salad with blue cheese dressing and bacon crumbs Or French fries. I don't mind blue cheese but it's not my favorite. My husband hates blue cheese so he asked if he could get balsamic instead and the look on the waitresses face said it all. She looked frightened to ask the chef for a change. Really?? He won't even change the dressing? How hard is that? So instead he ordered the fries. They have a beautiful deck overlooking the harbor. I wasn't quite sure by the Decour what I would get but we got top class food. Definitely try the crab and shrimp cakes. I've never had them quite like this. They're made very light and I think there's corn rice and cheese in them. Served on a lobster bisque sauce. Oh absolutely will have those again. I had the fish tacos which were delicious and served with the Romain wedge salad and fries. That was a bonus to get both. My wife had the cajun salmon grilled on a cedar plank. Also with fries and a salad. Both are outstanding. She got the pumpkin martini which by the look on her face was yummy. Our server Tom was very attentive and an asset to this restaurant read more
