I come here quite often the food is always amazing try the ribs for 15 bucks half slab they fall off the bone and are amazing. Always a favorite is the lobster bisque normally always get that. This place is always good! We order from here almost weekly because who doesn't love a wonderful Real!!! Sized burger that is the right size after cooking I mean why go to any fast food place when you can come here and get all the right toppings and it tastes way better and you know it's real!!! They have great food! The fish sandwich is enough for two meals! I always call ahead and pick it up on the way home. Staff is always friendly and never skimp on napkins, condiments etc! Call ahead and ask about their specials, I've never been disappointed. read more

The service is always excellent! I have had everything on the menu! If you are trying to eat light and healthy I do not recommend any of the vegetables or broiled fish. They are all we're frozen and not very good. But everything else is awesome especially the Ruben and onion rings!!! read more

Decided to go for the queen of hearts drawing down the road from this little tavern. I will give this little place a 5 star review. This place isn't a fancy steak house or anything but it was so worth the visit. We ordered the fried sampler appetizer and everything was delicious. Who doesn't love fried food of some kind? The thing that really stood out was the broccoli cheese bites those were delicious. We all decided on the Freddy burger I got the ghost pepper burger the cheese was hot but I love spice and this burger was perfect for me. We shared a family fry and it was enough for the 3 of us to eat. Hubby ordered the double Freddy burger and this burger was huge. Decided to get dessert and even though we were stuffed the blackberry cobbler hit the spot. Warm blackberry cobbler with vanilla ice cream on top. So glad we gave it a try. I would definitely give this place another visit if I happen to travel back through Garretsville. read more

i've been going here with my family ever since i can remember. everyone is always so nice and the new renovations really made the place sparkle, even if i will miss the old style a little bit. my family and i always celebrate our birthdays here and we always make sure to leave cake for everyone working in the back. the food is quite delicious, and i feel like i could order anything off of the menu, and still be pleased, even being a picky eater. the owner is goods friends with my family, and we always love when he comes and sits with us to catch up after not being there for a while. not to mentions the servers and how all of them are always so kind, even on busy days. going there so much, we've really gotten to know everyone who works there, and we've created our own little family. i'm going to be really sad when this place sells because the brick is one of the best small town restaurants i've been to, and everyone is always so kind!! read more

This is my first time here. I came in for Sunday dinner the day after St. Patrick's Day and they still offered the corned beef and cabbage special. It was very good. I have only eaten here once, so this is my first impression. The inside is very cozy and my family is friends with the owners. My mom and I went for the Friday fish special. I love beer battered fish, so I got the fish dinner with fries. The fish is very mild and flaky, not strong at all. The batter is light and crispy yet it holds up nicely with the white fish and remains crisp until the end of the meal. The fries could have been a little more browned, as I like mine very golden. I got a coffee with my food and it was some of the best coffee I've had at a restaurant in a long time. Overall, the food was pretty solid and the prices were reasonable. Our waitress was accommodating but more quiet, that is fine. I will definitely be dining here again in the future and trying some of the other items on the menu. read more

I really wanted to love this local restaurant, however... My fiance's coleslaw arrived almost immediately, but my soup didn't make it to the table until about a half hour later. We, then, waited another half hour plus for our entrees. Our server said the wait was due to their small kitchen. The place wasn't even close to being busy when we arrived. The chicken paprikash pierogis were fine. I suspect they were purchased from the same pierogi place from which I have purchased. A paprikash sauce would have really made them stand out. Nice little hole in the wall in a small town off the beaten path. Decent food, but it's more tavern than anything else. I wouldn't bring little kids here. I definitely don't bring my kids here.
