    Tiramisu and Key Lime Pie

First of all our server was awesome! He was so genuine and helpful answering questions about our entrees and desserts. We loved the atmosphere and another waitress offered to take a picture of the two of us at our table. It is one of the best pictures we have of us! We each enjoyed the whitefish chowder (wonderful smoky flavor and amazing garnish) we also ordered the arugula and roasted beet salad. I should have taken a picture of both of them because they were beautifully presented. Our menu choices were so good I would order them both again. We were actually planning on having dinner at Red Crown down the street. When we arrived at Red Crown there was a sign on the door saying they were closed until Spring, according to their website it means until sometime in May. I reported this to Yelp, we planned on going there because their Yelp page said they were open. So we walked down the street and found The Bricks Pizzeria. I would come back to Bricks again instead of Red Crown. When our waiter asked if we were interested in dessert we asked for his recommendation. We ordered the tiramisu and key lime pie. We weren't interested in ordering pizza and we were so pleased with the other options. They have wonderful options!

Stopped in for a farewell dinner has the kiddo heads back to school. The service was top-notch, quick. I had a delicious riff on the last word cocktail. I think it was called the first word delicious. We each got pasta tonight and everyone loved their pasta. As far as accessibility, I did not check out the bathroom however, entrance is zero steps and there are multiple types of seating bar, high tops, low seating and a beautiful patio. If you haven't been or if it's been a while, I highly recommend you go back and check out bricks.

We enjoy a trip to bricks from time to time. The process to make a reservation is easy, although they do require a credit credit in order to make a reservation. The card on file will be charged $15 per guest if you fail to show up or do not cancel in time. I like the atmosphere here. It will get busy, but you'll still be able to hear what others at your table are saying. The patio area is large and when the wall doors are up you can still enjoy it even if you're inside of the building. The meatball appetizer was fine, nothing about it stood out, but was good enough to enjoy. It's a good starter to split. I enjoy the thinner style pizza they serve here. I developed a like for hot honey with their own homemade version, which has been a good compliment to the pizza. Pizza always comes out hot and cooked just right.

This place was fantastic! I ordered the special which was lobster linguine and it was delicious. It should be a regular menu item! I'm the pizza was perfect and drinks were great.

Outstanding as always. Best pizza in the GP area and among the absolute best in Metro Detroit. Perfect crust with a slight char...terrific sauce and fresh mozzarella...so good! House salad is terrific as well.

Absolutely fantastic! We ordered the Beet salad, Mushroom pizza, Pep in your Step Pizza, Cachio E Pepe pasta. Everything was made to perfection! Staff was like a well oiled machine, checking in consistently throughout the meal. We are on the outdoor patio and fully enjoyed the food, service and atmosphere.

Odd menu. A bit pricey. Thin crust pizza with no changes allowed. Will only return if forced to.

We had 2 couples and they customized the menu for us based on our likes and dislikes. We got 5 courses starting with appetizers, followed by pasta (which I forgot to get photos of), then sides, entrees and dessert. Plus a little aperitif to start the meal off. Zero complaints about any of the dishes. My favorite dish was probably the artichokes and the steak. So delicious! The atmosphere at the restaurant was very fun and modern. And our server was very knowledgeable and helpful when we had questions about the dishes. If you want an even more elevated experience, they have a sommelier that will come to your table and assist with picking wine to pair with your meal.

You'll want reservations because it fills up quick. We were promptly seated and greeted my our waitress, Mary. She was very attentive and knows the menu. She explained every dish and made excellent recommendations. We all started out with an Aperol Spritz, because what says Italy more than a spritz!?! We ordered a few appetizers, artichoke, squash and asparagus. The squash was unique. It had pickled summer squash, a vegetable that I never considered pickling. Simply delicious. The asparagus was perfectly cooked and the sauce really enhanced it. Great side dish. I did not try the artichoke, but my wife and daughter both said they were amazing. For mains, I ordered the Aragosta fra Diavolo, my wife the Cappelletti and my daughters the Carbonara. All were delicious. The fra diavolo had a nice light kick of heat and loaded with lobster tail. Excellent dish. I highly recommend Shewolf. It's a phenomenal restaurant that takes pride in their food, service and the whole experience.

And the food...OMG, the food. The smoked duck breast was spectacular. Truly amazing. The mushroom pizza was delicious, and I honestly couldn't stop eating it. We also had the ricotta, egg, truffle, and kombucha pasta. It was good, just not quite as incredible as everything else. The egg inside was cooked solid, and I think if the yolk had been just a little runny, it would have taken the dish completely over the top. Such a great dinner. Can't wait to come back!

The bacon scone was absolutely outstanding, however you have to ask for butter for this, which is a must, but that was the only thing for a $325 brunch bill for 4 people. The entrees were cold when we received them, and one took so long to get that it was actually comped by the restaurant. The steak and egg benny was okay. The egg was overcooked and only jammy and not runny, and the croissant which had the steak on it was super oily and gross. There is a reason why a biscuit or english muffin is used in this dish, so whoever decided a croissant was a good idea is not smart, or eating the current weekend chef's food. The potato frites super greasy and oily as well as cold. Draining them on a paper towel would have been clutch. We had other entrees that no one finished because of the quality and taste of the food. It would have been helpful if the kitchen staff put the food under a salamander or heat light. If they have one of these, it certainly wasn't working that day in proper order. This is not a place I would ever go to brunch again. Maybe I would try dinner have one of their cheaper dinners as the $34 benny was overpriced and underperforming. I am giving this place three stars rather than one because the service was great unlike the food.
