Sat with a friend put our order in waiting on a few of our other friends that came about 20 min later..one friend then put in An order about 10 min later.. another 15-20 min later the friend that ordered after us her food came out first.. i finally Get my food that was supposed to be a grilled Italian chicken wrap that had a few pieces of grilled chicken at the bottom of the wrap and the rest filled with over cooked burnt fried chicken..so do the math on the timing there.. waitress ask how our food was i told Her i was very disappointed because of xyz she sends the manger over and he did nothing but argue with me that i ate most of my fries and most of half of my wrap that i picked At after taking all the burnt fried chicken out.. because I waited so long I was starving..manager continued to argue with me instead of making me a happy customer and continue to tell me i didnt Wait no hour for my food basically i was Lying.. then the owner was told what happen and he never came over to me to say he was so sorry.. I will NEVER go back there again and have already told 10 of my friends and family not to go back there and will tell all my friends at work not to go there either.. and too boot the bar tender was not nice at all either told someone she didn't have time to make a customer a drink!! Sat at the bar for a quick and easy bite. Started with drunken clams and they were delicious! So much juice for the toast points! I then had a BLT and side salad while my husband had wings. Both were very good. We had beer and mango white claw. The staff was friendly and attentive. The place had tvs where we could watch our favorite sports teams. Well. Call me spoiled! - The reason this place gets a two star review is because it played "Deadpool" when we were there. - The owner was not really welcoming to us. My group and I were here on a weekend trip for fourth of July and she just really did not seem excited to see us. - My dad ordered me and him diet cokes, which the waitress repeated back to us as she wrote it down. The waitress came back with just cokes, so we asked her for diet coke instead- this is just an honest mistake of course, but everything felt like an issue at this point -We got seated in the corner, and there was food on our seats. Our appetizers took an hour to come, and our server did not check on us once through that entire time but continued to pass our table and give us dirty looks- we had to ask a different server. We then waited 30+ mins for our entrees. When they came, it took me 10 minutes to realize that they brought me the wrong thing because I had ordered such a long time ago. Where should I start. Went to the Broadway Monday night to meet some friends for wing night and a couple of drinks. Short staffed, although accommodating, the bartender left the bar to serve our table. My husband had the Thai wings which he said was very good=2 stars. I had the Caesar salad, which was just chopped lettuce, no croutons. Our friends did mention the food used to be good, but has recently gone downhill. The main reason for only 2 stars, they had a huge stink bug problem, granted the door was open, I assume for fresh air, however the stink bugs were quite gross. When we first sat down at the booth, there were two crawling on the top of booth chair, I should have left at that point but didn't want to ruin the evening. I finally lost my appetite and decided to leave when one was crawling on my leg, once I flicked it off, the overwhelming smell called it a night for me. read more

As someone who frequents the area, the Broadway's clientele are locals and local people from the fishing industry. Walking in, I felt like I was in the bar from the movie Perfect Storm with George Clooney. If you are looking for this atmosphere, you are in the right place. I have heard of the great reviews of the food and burgers...so I had to try it. Overall, in terms of food, go to Shore Fresh or the Shrimpbox for better food. The burger was cooked on an open flame, and was actual a hockey puck. There was no lettus or tomato or finishings. The fries could be counted by looking at them...all for $10.00. Coldest beers this side of the Mississippi. Average bar food but it gets the job done. Ask for a bowl of popcorn if you see them making it fresh. They make the pork roll on the grill which gives the PEC a delightful hint of char flavor. This is also a pretty good locals spot to see live music throughout the week. Didn't even look us in the eye when we sat at the bar and ordered our drinks. We were really taken aback. Gave us weak drinks and did not give us the water we had also ordered. Ignored us when our drinks were empty, yet was perfectly nice and attentive to the people she knew. The male bartender (didn't catch his name) was much more accommodating and asked if we needed service. We left after ordering another round with him. SUE needs a major attitude adjustment and is causing this place to lose valuable customers and money. We planned to stay there longer and order food, but did want to give this place any more of our time or money, so took our business elsewhere. It's a local hangout to get a beer and hamburger and we decided to get the special for $25.00 each for shrimp and spinach. It was alright, but a very small portion. Nearly froze my tuchas off this past Friday sitting at the rear side of their bar. This old drafty building needs to be patched up a bit. Now for the food - great burger done perfectly right in front of you at the bar, albeit a just so so bun. Took an order of their famous wings home to sample later and must admit disappointment, maybe they just don't travel well. I went here with some friends for lunch. We sat outside, and it was a great little area they have. The service was top notch, and the bartender was so attentive. We started with the wings, and they were easily some of the best we have ever had. We have put down many wings in our day from many places, but this place is fantastic. They fry them first and then put the sauce on them and then put them back on the grill. They were cooked to perfection and so tasty! Been my go-to local bar for 25 years for a inexpensive meal and drink with friendly atmosphere. Like all things going up in price BB&G has followed the trend, but unfortunately it no longer is the "good deal" in town. The latest prices are at or above the more "refined" ( for lack of a better word) places nearby. $10 for a crock of French onion soup and $16 for a burger AT THE BROADWAY? ! A few minutes after sitting down at a 1/2 full bar where two bartenders ignored us, the guy working at the grill behind the bar asked if anyone had helped us yet, I asked for 2 cokes and menus. He pulled off his gloves and poured the sodas then the male bartender finally acknowledged us by throwing some menus on the bar without a word as he walked by. We put our order in with the female bartender, the mozz sticks came up from the center grill pretty quickly. About 10 minutes after we finished them the male bartender cleared the empty basket, looked directly at and ignored my empty soda then asked the guy next to us if he wanted another beer. Shortly after, my boyfriend asked the guy on grill if he'd gotten an order for 2 fish sandwiches, he let us know they come from the main kitchen and went to check on them. A few minutes later he made a second trip back to the kitchen to deliver them. At this point I'm confused why there are two bartenders who aren't doing anything at all. Then the female bartender walks over and says "well it's about time you got your sandwiches it's been a half hour", if j didn't have a mouthful of cold fries I'd have replied "no shi(t) lady, not like you ever went to get it."
