Drunken Arnie Palmer and classic mojito
    Lexie K.

Young bartender was very nice and attentive. It wasn't busy so we were able to talk to him and he gave great recommendations for the area. Cool upstairs bar- not open that late but fun beach view and breeze. Classic mojito is good. Basic but good fresh mint flavor Drunken Arnie Palmer- sweet and tangy. Clearly taste the peach and orange flavors

I'm giving this place three stars because the service was good, my waitress was very friendly. They have a really cool view of the boardwalk from the outdoor section of the restaurant. And the dish I ordered was pretty good. I dined here with my 10-year-old daughter. She told me she just wanted pasta with salt and butter, quite the flavor profile she has. This item was not on the menu. However once I explained it to the waitress she said sure they can make that. I wanted something somewhat healthy so I ordered the broiled seafood dish with vegetables and mashed potatoes. My daughter and I had a good time people watching everyone on the boardwalk at around 9:30 at night. A Lot of characters walking around. When our food arrived my daughter is very happy with your dish. I also loved my dish, now it wasn't a highest of quality of fish and most of the seafood pieces were small. But it all tasted very good and was not overcooked. It was doused in some type of butter sauce . I was part of the clean clean plate club that night so I really can't complain. I would definitely return here just to sit outside and people watch. This is the type of place where you can't expect a five-star dining experience. It's a Shore bar that happens to sell food. The prices are not that expensive either. I would definitely return it. You just got to watch what you order.

After a fun filled at at the beach and boardwalk, we came to check out Boardwalk Bar and Grill. We didn't wait long for a rooftop seat to enjoy the beautiful beach and boardwalk views. Our server was great, she was attentive and friendly, making sure we had everything we needed and wanted (I wish I remembered her name!). We started with the nachos which were ok. It just reminded me of Tostitos with sub par toppings. I really enjoyed my California Dreaming salad -- it was pretty big and the flavors were there! It was sweet and savory. Definitely a nice refreshing salad for a hot day.

Really crowded, would recommend y'all to plan your visit. Luckily we got a table upstairs with the best views of the boardwalk and the beach. They took so much time to get our order that we had to request someone to attend us but the waitress compensated by checking on us every 20-30 mins going forward. The menu had no veggie options except for appetizers and kids menu. I had to resort to a pasta without the meat proteins. That worked out well and was recommend to us. Also got the coconut shrimp which my wife loved and said it was a little more "coconutty"

Oh !! So here's what I gave to say about this place ... The beach view is really beautiful from the roof and the food there is always good , our bartender was very helpful and nice too . The down side was the bathroom was absolutely horrible :( , I understand this is a beach bar but they should clean the bathroom more frequently. The hostess was RUDE , she kept saying there was a waiting list and yet we walked upstairs to the bar and there were about 8 tables empty , so what was the waiting list for ? I sat there for about 4 hours and the majority of those 8 tables were still empty . What was the waiting list for ? Waiting for her to become a pleasant person ??

Best boardwalk "Blackened Scallops". Always like finding a seat upstairs, nice bar and seating, servers are always friendly and view of ocean and boardwalk are great. A great boardwalk bar and grill.

Very good coconut shrimp and fries. A little on the pricier side for food, but the happy hour drink special are very worth it. Great pina coladas and cold draft beer.

There is an option between sitting upstairs and having a view of the beach or sitting downstairs. The floors both have different menus and drink specials. We sat downstairs for 1/2 priced margaritas and pina colada's. I thought the hostess and our sever were both really nice. The guacamole was really good. Our drinks seemed a little strong and I think likely the cause of our stomach aches. The shrimp tacos really smelt like shit. My date was explaining to me that they smell like shit because they are boiled, but I think she was talking shit as well. I appreciate that slot of placed have fun with fish tacos but these were pretty generic. At least they didn't taste like shit too, maybe they were the cause of the stomach aches, we may never know. We shared the blackened salmon and it was phenomenal. The crunchy flavorful skin amd tender center went together nicely. The rice was also good. I don't fuck with refried beans. The cost was a little high, but consistent with everything on the boardwalk being overpriced. They used paper straws but I'm still very disappointed to see plastic ramekins and plastic utensils being used at all, especially at a restaurant at the beach.

We had a terrific experience at Boardwalk Bar & Grill. We were a party of 6 on a Wednesday night. Luckily they had a table for us on the rooftop. Our server was fantastic. She gave us plenty of time (with no pressure) to decide what we wanted. The food was ready faster than we expected. Burgers were huge, fresh and cooked to order with a nice, chewy kaiser roll. The fries were definitely made with fresh potatoes and perfectly done! The chicken quesadilla was loaded with chicken and cheese. Pasta was delivered as promised with marinara on the side. Even though they were busy we never felt rushed. Great choice for dinner!

Boardwalk Bar & Grill is a simple bar, in a great location. Being that there are a small list of bars on this boardwalk (2 others being huge venues with a lot to offer), this bar really needs to step it up. We came on a Friday night and sat upstairs. It was not busy yet the bartenders took a while to come over to take our drinks. They are not too attentive. We ordered the 42oz Margarita for two. After filling the glass with ice, the liquid probably equaled about 2 drinks, totally NOT worth it. Plus side: got to keep the glass, only rooftop on the boardwalk, two decent sized bars, kid friendly Kinda disappointed.

I had a decent experience here. We sat outdoors, in the back. My waitress was very nice. The pasta was alright. Olive Garden quality, but unfortunately at a higher price. The chicken nuggets and fries did seem frozen, but my daughter ate them without a problem. The food is definitely overpriced, but the boardwalk doesn't offer much...I was happy to have pasta after three days of eating fried everything.

We were really impressed by the location. The Food shack is located right on the beach which is the perfect way to enjoy a lunch on a Summer day in Point Pleasant. They have lots of umbrellaed outdoor seating, and some benches in the sun, so there are options for everyone. They also have some indoor seating, and the inside is adorable. We ordered a swiss grilled cheese with tomato on top, and a BLT. Each item came with pickles and a bag of chips. Each item was priced reasonably, especially considering typical Jersey Shore pricing. My grilled cheese was great. The bread/cheese/tomato ratio was perfect. The cheese was gooey, and stayed gooey even as the sandwich cooled. The bread on the grilled cheese was crispy on the outside and still soft and warm on the inside. I didn't know what to expect from a small shack on the beach, especially with something as simple as a grilled cheese, but I really enjoyed it. The BLT also had a gread tomato/bacon/lettuce/mayo ratio and wasn't too greasy. Overall I will definitely be coming back!

I've always heard good things, and I thought the food stood up to the reputation. The restaurant was packed on a Monday night, which was probably a good sign for what led to a delicious meal. Our other dinner partner enjoyed his halibut. I really loved the show-stopping, gigantic jumbo lump crab meat risotto. It was very filling, but super delicious. The food was rich and, in some ways, basic, but executed perfectly. I added some of the street corn and that really made things even better get this dish. You won't be disappointed. The atmosphere was busy, if not hectic. Our table was in the middle of the room, next to a large family with little kids. One was seven months old and the other was two. That seemed like a bit much for a dinner with these price points. It's not an inexpensive restaurant and certainly not a family-vibe Houlihan's. We had mixed feelings about the atmosphere, but I kind of thought it was cool--a really pretty building with some rustic charm.

We brought two bottles of wine, and the white was put in a chilled bucket right away. Just a note for anyone not familiar with BYOB restaurants in New Jersey: if they don't have a liquor license, the servers can't pour your wine. I don't mind pouring my own, so it wasn't an issue. The meal started with an amuse-bouche: two sips of tomato soup with a bruschetta crostini. It was a nice way to begin. One of the standout dishes was the breaded pork chop stuffed with prosciutto and cheese, served with a cognac mushroom sauce. My spouse gave me a bite, and it was one of the best I've had this summer. The pork was juicy with just a little pink, and the combination of flavors worked really well. I'm still thinking about it. We also had the tuna tower with soy sauce, ginger, horseradish, and wasabi. It was fresh and nicely presented. I ordered the foie gras (before you bash me, read Foie Gras Wars by Mark Caro and then decide )It was paired with a poached pear and simply prepared. I would have liked a slice of French toast, brioche (a girl could dream), but when I mentioned it, our server brought crostini, which worked fine. Chef Bass was out on the floor greeting guests and bringing out plates. He has really terrific energy. Bistro by Bass is a great dinner date spot and I also observed many larger tables having shared food. Next time, I'll order the pork chop for myself. I also saw several orders of escargot go by that looked really good. I wish I got the tableside bananas Foster. I've had it before there and it was fabulous! I ordered the almond Amarado gelato that tasted like a delicious almond joy, coconut, and almond crunches throughout. (my dinner partner hates coconut and chunky ice cream so he wasn't "NO", but I thought it was great!) From what I could tell, other tables were enjoying their meals too. The pricing was fair, the atmosphere was lively, and I'd go back.
