With Friend Michael & our favorite bartender @Alehouse, Melissa aka Scottie!

I like the bar pies, nachos, & their burgers. The atmosphere is nice , as are most of the bartenders, especially, Scottie. It's my go to local bar for the food, brews, and a little fun, during the summer months.

Always a good experience and food never disappoints. Last time I got the pizza and this time a burger. The price is very affordable especially being near the water. If you want to relax and listen to some rock music I would definitely recommend.

Stopped here before going to the Blue Claws game (Go, Phillies!) and we were happy we decided to give it a chance. I enjoyed my pork sandwich, and we both enjoyed the pierogis! So tasty! The fish could have been drained more so they could be more crispy. Looking for a local feel, check them out. Casual atmosphere with a full bar and plenty of tvs for the sport fans. Our waitress was very nice and attentive, too.

    Bar pizza pie was tasty!

We ordered a drink ( good selection of nice brand vodka) and a bar pie. We got half plain/half sausage pepperoni. Delicious! Crust and topping were exactly the way we prefer. Sat at a high top table, bar was full and upbeat. The waiter was efficient , friendly, accommodating , kept checking back in. Various Sports on tv. They also have an area away from the bar which is quieter to eat. We were there about 5:30 on a Friday in early May and it looks like a very busy, popular place. Casual place, come as you are.

This is a great place to meet, eat and retreat!

I have frequented MRA for a few years now. They just keeps getting better and better. I've tried many items on the menu, all absolutely delicious and the service is wonderful from the second you walk in the door. The burgers are great and I truly love the meatloaf. I follow them on Facebook. They update their specials and they have a lot of fun events to attend. They even had a bagpiper the day before St. Patrick's Day! I would recommend keeping them on your places to go list.

Food here was very good but the service was not very good. The restaurant was not very busy but our server was not attentive at all. Very casual atmosphere. Cool outside area.

The parking lot and the…read moreinterior were huge, but I came at opening on a weekday, so it looked a lot more empty inside than it was. Our waitress was very friendly and ended up leaving a pitcher of water once she saw we were parched. The salad bar wasn't huge, but there were some cold dishes along with salad fixings, which is part of the vintage charm. The bread (not complementary) was also a huge round loaf great for sharing. The decor's medieval vibe is very charming and it's nice looking around the room. The kitchen is open to the dining room with big brick ovens. I had the prime rib which was big and juicy (the baked potato was fine but the Yorkshire puff was bland and barely editable soaked in juice - may just be I don't like this food). The steak came with a giant onion ring which was delightful, and it was cooked perfectly tender. This place thrives in your meat and potato staples, so not a lot of side options except what's at the salad bar. For dessert, we had to try the peach melba delight, which was a giant goblet of vanilla ice cream, peaches in juice, whipped cream, and a cherry on top. Deceptively simple but extremely tasty and great to share There's a large bar area and the bathrooms are nice. This place is great for larger groups that include older people. The food is good and the atmosphere did feel like it was from another time, but we had a good time, and it's nice to see a place like this still around.

I learned later that this restaurant has been around since the early to mid 1900's. Plenty of parking in a large open lot. The place is very large and has one of the longest bars I've seen. The wood is very dark and you can see the chefs cooking over the hearth. They don't take reservations and won't see you until your entire party is there. One of the things I liked for our party of 10 was they had no problems with seating as they also have many large round tables. For mixed drinks, they make them pretty big and potent. For my martini, they sent back an extra glass. They also had great bleu cheese stuffed olives. We ordered onion rings (8 large to an order) and fried zucchini. The onion ring I had was pretty good. I didn't have the fried zucchini but heard it was also pretty good. Other than the light fare items, all dinners come with their salad bar which has both iceberg lettuce and Caesar Salad along with many fixings as well as cheeses and bread. I had the Baked Seafood Platter which came with scallops, shrimp, Clam Casino (without the shell), Maryland crab cake and a small lobster tail for $49.99. My wife had the baked chicken breast which she said was quite dry. The dining area is quite large and reminds me of the restaurants at a casino. Some in our group said it reminds them of Medieval Times due to the dark wood vibe. While I thought it was a bit pricey, I would still come back and try their signature steaks or prime rib.

My fiancé had a sour beer that tasted like sangria and I had a sour beer that was a take on mango sticky rice (such a unique beer). Heads up their steak fries are actually potato wedge; still tasty but a pleasant surprised. Both of our sandwiches were delicious. The steak sandwich came with a delicious garlic aioli. Our server was great. She mentioned that a lot of their beer is from Icarus brewing in Lakewood and suggested we check it out. We don't live too close but if we're ever in the area we'll be sure to come back. A lot of the beers were calling my name. A great local place. Today we were asked to leave because my disabled husband has a service dog that alerts him when he has an episode. This is a legitimate trained service dog. For eight years, she has accompanied him everywhere: doctors, dentist, outpatient surgery, hospital and nursing home visits, banks, restaurants, commercial passenger flights. Her behavior today was exemplary. She has a defined space she remains in, and the only time she makes a noise is if she needs some water or to go outside, or if her person is having an episode. The bartender was polite about stating that the new owner is firm on animals being a health risk. I'm fairly certain the manager on duty actually made the decision. The owner has been in the industry for decades, and should be versed in the Americans with Disabilities Act, which they just violated. It's only federal law, after all. If a guest purports to have a service dog, and the dog behaves inappropriately, the establishment has every right to refuse service. But blanket refusal is a serious violation and can result in fines. Plus, you are doing a disservice to your employees by training them incorrectly. Two more bars out of our rotation, because they own the Windward in Brick as well.
