My husband and I ordered from their Lenten menu, a jumbo fish sub with one side. I thought the sub…read morecame with tartar sauce and I had requested it be put on the side but it was not in the bag. My husband got fries and I got the stewed tomatoes. We also got two orders of breaded mushrooms. The food was good and I had mayonaise and relish at home so made my own tartar sauce; otherwise the sandwich would have been dry. I had ordered from the menu which was posted on Facebook in October of 2025. The price for the mushrooms was more than what was listed on the menu.

Take note here, this iteration is located in the American Legion Post in this end of town. Hench why you have such weird hours for the business. However, do not let that deter you from trying this place. I'll tell you why, the food is worth it. Mr. Pizza used to be known for their pizza and hang out atmosphere. You'd come in and hang out with a bunch of your friends and enjoy yourself. Over time, and changes of venue and you get this more relaxed model you see here. Mostly it is for placing an order for pick up and taking it home to enjoy it. The menu isn't that vast, but what they do have, they have mastered. Yes, try the pizza, but venture a bit on the menu and give other items a try. I did just that on this visit and went the way of the bacon cheeseburger. I know, a burger from a pizza place isn't always the best thing to go with, but their spin on the burger is novel and quite possibly unique. Obviously you start with a burger patty, seasoned lightly. Then you place that on fresh baked bread. I want to say this is like a ciabatta bread from the texture, size, and shape of it. Instead of going the bacon strip route, they go the crumbled bacon route. In that matter they go the cheddar sauce route instead of sliced cheese. I do not know exactly what it was about that approach, but it worked. If feels like you get more cheese and bacon and each and every bite is covered in cheese and bacon. what was not on the burger patty itself was saved by that bread. I paired it with a side of bacon cheddar fries and had a full belly. A bit salty, but that was all my doing.

OnionRingus Gigantincus !!!…read more The Blackout Burger Bar is an establishment focused on...You guessed it, Burgers. This Burger Bar is located in a strip mall, minutes away from The Grove City Premium Outlets, gas stations, hotels, shops and other restaurants. Blackout can be a very busy place, so be warned, as it caters to a mix of locals, hotel guests and the outlet mall shoppers. Luckily, I went just before the dinner rush on a Saturday and was seated quickly. The menu has a selection of items, including their featured and more popular burgers. You also have the option of building your own burgers, and every table comes with a build-your-own sheet with multiple choices for customizing your burger. I ordered the 'Range Roaming Bison Burger' with bacon cooked to medium well, as you have a choice on how you want your patty cooked. I also ordered a side of their monstrous, massive onion rings that they are also known for. The food came out quickly, and my burger was cooked as I ordered it. The Onons rings were very crispy on the outside and were still hot inside as I got to the inside of them. They also have salads, soups, chilli, featured sandwiches, and apps on the menu. There is a beer menu that has standard and craft beer selections. The Blackout is a very popular spot for beers, burgers, sandwiches and accommodates people of all ages. Overall, a great experience, with good food and good service, and a place I would want to try again.
