Got the "Street" style bubble waffle cone which came with the following toppings: Whipped Cream Hazelnut Wafer Whole Oreos Crushed Oreos Marshmallows Chocolate Syrup Powdered Sugar The presentation was fantastic and superbly inviting, I think all the kids around me were staring in envy when I was eating this. I was expecting the bubble waffle to have the same consistency and texture as the hong kong style egg waffles, but unfortunately it didn't deliver to that level. Instead this bubble waffle was dense and more of a "pancake" than a "waffle". It was a bit disappointing. Price was $14.40 after tax as of June 2025. Service was quite speedy.

The first time we visited, we weren't expecting much--but we were pleasantly surprised. The waffle was delicious, the ice cream was excellent, and the whole combination left a strong impression. We had never had a waffle and ice cream combo quite like that before. Because of that, we actually went out of our way to come back a second time. Unfortunately, it just wasn't worth it. While the waffle was still tasty, the portion of ice cream was incredibly small. There was literally one strawberry, sliced into three pieces. We paid $17 for what ended up being mostly whipped cream and waffle. After such a great first experience, we were willing to pay the price again, but this time it just felt stingy and overpriced. To make things worse, the employee behind the counter looked like he had just rolled out of bed--oily hair and all--which didn't exactly inspire confidence in the place. Overall, we were disappointed. The inconsistency in both quality and presentation, especially after going out of our way to return, really soured the experience. Not sure we'll be back.

ABSOLUTELY LOVE this place! I found their food truck at the Enchant Christmas event and I was so drawn to the yummy and very large selection of bubble waffle desserts and foods. Their dessert is so amazingly delicious! I ordered the "Simple" which features their bubble waffle cone, ice cream, chocolate syrup, and powdered sugar. I customized my order by adding strawberries and selecting cookies and cream for my ice cream. MMMM mmm! Delicious! The waffle cone paired so beautifully with the ice cream and strawberries. It was so satisfying and definitely worth trying if you're considering it! ALSO! The workers here were very kind and so patient. I watched as the lady cashier very nicely stood patiently while a giant family who insisted on being in line (while NOT knowing or deciding what they wanted yet *SIGH*) debated for literal minutes without even ordering, they just delayed the whole line while they argued amongst themselves.... LOL. Then after their indecisive debate they FINALLY decided on ONE dessert even though there was like 8/9 people there.. LOL. Kudos to you miss for having sooo much patience! Her patience was very impressive to me. I almost told them to please let other people go ahead because they were wasting everyone's time! lol. Anyway! She handled that great and took my order after with ease. My order was ready and delivered in literally like two minutes! Sooo super fast! The guy even came outside and handed my order to me directly. Thank you! I had no idea it would be ready so fast. Great customer service for sure. I think my order cost about $18 (after tip) and it was definitely worth it to try something new and very delicious! Highly recommended.

Bubble Cone was one of the food trucks that catered lunch for my company's 2023 Family Day event held in West Sacramento. I had also seen the truck previously at the California State Fair and maybe a SactoMoFo roundup. Love the idea of both savory and sweet egg puff/bubble waffles and making them into cones or plates, how clever! From the Savory Menu, you get a Bubble Cone waffle with tender chicken pieces, green onion, crushed pepper, and a choice of sauce: Buffalo, Sriracha Ranch, Mac & Cheese, Chipotle Mayo, or Cheesy. Add Mac & Cheese costs $3. From the Sweet Menu, you first choose ice cream flavor (vanilla, cookies 'n cream, mint chocolate chip, or strawberry), then what style: Classic (whipped cream, hazelnut wafer, strawberries, crushed Oreos, chocolate syrup, powdered sugar), Street (whipped cream, hazelnut wafer, whole Oreos, crushed Oreos, marshmallows, chocolate syrup, powdered sugar), Sexy (whipped cream, strawberries, sprinkles, strawberry syrup, powdered sugar), Boho (whipped cream, green tea Pocky sticks, sliced apples, Cinnamon Toast Crunch, toasted almonds, cinnamon powder), Casual (whipped cream, strawberries, blueberries, caramel syrup, powdered sugar), Artsy (whipped cream, Fruity Pebbles), or Simple (ice cream, syrup, powdered sugar). They also have Lemonades -- strawberry, watermelon, passionfruit, blackberry, blueberry, and raspberry. I went with the Buffalo chicken which I would call a "medium" spicy sauce. This was a fun spin on chicken and waffles, handheld then each bubble of the waffle you could tear off bite by bite. For dessert, I got the Classic with strawberry ice cream which was good. Wonder if in the future they might experiment with different flavor waffles (oreo, green tea, strawberry)?

There are a lot of food truck events in the East Bay, and Bubble Cone seems to be a staple. There is a savory menu and a sweet menu, and the prices are the same across the board regardless of the flavor you choose. A cone costs $12 and a plate is $15. This was our first time ordering from here, but it was actually easy to walk around while eating the cone without anything falling out. We ordered the Classic and the Chipotle Mayo. The Chipotle Mayo had pretty decent sized chicken, and was actually my favorite between the two. We paid via touch less payment and although there were 2 other people ahead of us, our order came out in less than 10 minutes.

What a delightful treat! The Bubble Hive specializes in sweet and savory waffle cones filled with everything from fried chicken to ice cream. I recently visited their first brick and mortar location off Arden way and it is very cute. They have indoor and outdoor seating complete with bulbed lights and umbrellas. They also have a variety of toppings. I ordered the sriracha ranch fried chicken egg puff waffle cone and it was delicious! The fried chicken was very crispy and flavorful and was complimented so well by their sriracha ranch sauce. And the waffle added a nice fluffy sweetness. The service was also above and beyond. I spilled my part of my first cone and they were so gracious about it and even refilled my cone to replace some of the chicken. Word to the wise: be very careful when you are receiving your cone to make sure the contents don't spill! I also got to meet the owner of the Bubble Hive and he was so friendly as well. I would definitely recommend checking out their brick and mortar location if you are looking to try something tasty and unique. Thank you Bubble Hive!

The paint job and menu will draw you in. I've seen this food truck at a couple events, finally decided to try. They have sweet and savory options as well as drinks. There is a hand written note before you get the window about a vegetarian option. I didn't ask but was intrigued. The person at the window wasn't the friendliest to be honest. Just wanted me to order and move on. It was okay. More picture perfect than the best taste.

Got to try Bubble Cone at 626 Night Market. They have both savory and sweet items. Good variety to choose from. All fairly priced considering how big it is! I'm team savory! Love how stuffed the chicken and Mac n cheese was in the waffle cone. Egg waffles were made fresh to order. Their waffles are definitely made with care. It's super photogenic too! My friend ordered the chipotle chicken bubble waffle. She said it was freaking amazing! Every bite was perfection. Be sure to catch them at the next event!

Bubble ice cream cones have been on my foodie list to try after seeing many pictures on my Yelp feed. I was excited to see Bubble Cones was one of the food trucks at my apartment complex tonight. I got the street cone, which was topped with Oreos, marshmallows, Oreo dust, baton cookies, chocolate sauce, and whipped cream. Of course, I got cookies and cream ice cream. An Oreo lover's dream! Word of warning is the Oreo dust can be a little messy, Service was friendly and fast. Apple Pay accepted. Couldn't ask for a better experience. Food in the Hood - WestPark Wednesday [Roseville] Their menu consisted of Sweet and Savory items. The desserts are presented beautifully on a cone for $12 or if you want them on a plate it's an additional $3, so $15 for the same dessert on a plate. I ordered from their Sweet menu and chose the "Street". You get to choose your ice cream flavor in which I settled for vanilla and they whipped up this fancy dessert with whole and crushed Oreos, marshmallows, whip cream, drizzled with chocolate syrup, sprinkled with powdered sugar, and a stick of hazelnut wafer all nicely tucked in a thick waffle cone with large hexagon-shaped bubbles. The result is this rich, chocolaty, and so very festive dessert. The bubble cone is crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside and made a great vessel for my sweet "Street" filling dessert. My daughter got one each a Sweet "Street" dessert on a plate and the Savory Mac & Cheese on a cone. These desserts are on the pricey side. I still can't get over the $3 extra charge just to have it on a disposable to go container. w.o.w. ¯\_('~')_/¯ Bubble Cone was one of the rotating food trucks that came to Roseville during a WestPark Wednesday food truck event at Nela Luken Park. If you like Bubble Waffles you have to check out BUBBLE CONE! Tasty and Fantastic Combinations Sweet or Savory rolled up into a cone with your menu choice of fillings. We followed their Event Calendar and finally stopped at their location and YES the experience great !staff friendly and helpful , menu you will have to decide cause they all looks good. So, we just ordered 2 cones each one savory and one sweet. Bubble Cone with Chicken and Chipotle Mayo was excellent love the waffle it was crispy outside and fluffy inside filled with chicken , sauce drizzle and top with green onions yummy. Sweet Bubble Cones just try them all cause they are delicious Thank You Bubble Cone!

This was mg second time trying Bubble cone and let me tell you, IT. NEVER. DISSAPOINTS! The first time I had it was during SolBlume and loved it! I was surprised to see the truck again, on campus this time. When we were in line to buy our ice cream, it was actually time for them to leave to go to another venue, but the cashier was very nice and still took our order. All of their waffle makers were turned off and everything put away. The crew in th back still served us our orders and, basically, had to turn everything back on to serve the "late comers." BEST. CUSTOMER. SERVICE. EVER! Bought STREET (the same one I had at SolBlume) and it STILL is super good. The waffle is warm, crispy on the outside and like a soft cloud on the inside. The ice cream (I got regular vanilla) is nice and thick. The toppings are just phenomenal (mine had marshmellows, waffer stick, two thin oreos, whipped cream, and chocolate syrup). As you are eating the ice cream, it will start to melt because of the warm waffle. The waffle will soak all the ice cream, syrup, and topping goodness! (I saved the waffle for last!) Overall, it was a great experience and will most definitely recommend! read more

I had bubble cone for the first time today at the Foodieland Night Market going on in Berkeley. I had seen some pics of their stuff on the foodieland nm Instagram page and was definitely interested in trying it. I got a sweet cone and my boyfriend got a savory. 10/10 quality and 10/10 presentation. Definitely one of our favorites if not our favorite at the event today. Definitely going to go again sometime when I'm in the Sacramento area. :) read more

Thank goodness for bubble cone!!! I called with plenty of time before the event, thinking it would be only ice cream...but to my surprise they also have a savory menu also...I spaced enough area for them to park...they were awesome, efficient, friendly and great to work with. $12 is a great price because you cannot finish one right away, and it looks enough for two people. I would recommend the sweet choice as they taste better than the meat choices. it sounds like a 9/10 and 7/10 to me. I love all the choices they have though. read more

We came to the state fair and wanted to try bubblecone. There has been a long line ever time we have seen them but there was no line at 8:40 on a Sunday. We went up to the food truck and wanted to use our $5 voucher we had that states it's for every vendor and they refused to take it. The worker said my manger won't allow me to take that and it is only for the pink flag vendor. Which it's not true as the vouches states it's good for ALL vendors. We were so irritated but we got some delicious mini donuts instead. read more

A friend of mine and I went to FOODIELAND this past weekend in Berkeley, California. Out of all the vendors and food trucks this was a high priority on our Food list. We decided to save it for last as we ate our way through the whole foodie festival. The have both savory and sweet bubble cones, as we deduced to come here for dessert (recommend by a friend of ours). We ordered the Classic Bubble Cone: Strawberries, Nutella, Whipped Cream, Powder Sugar, Vanilla Ice Cream and a Peppermill Chocolate Straw. What a diabetic nightmare come true. We waited in line for 15 min and when we first got our order to share, we were in heaven. Until... we noticed our bubble cone completely burnt! BUMMER! Though it was a bit of disappointment it didn't not stop us from eating everything else. It was delicious! And Yes we did attempt to eat a few bites anyways but the burnt bubbles were not pleasant and dissatisfying to say the least. I would have given this 5 stars if otherwise. I still highly recommend this spot and if you go for the savory choose "The Cheesy" one. read more

Looks great, but incredibly disappointing. My family and I ordered 4 of these during a Fourth of July celebration. At $14 a piece! $56.00 later we were left with ice cream treats that look picture perfect. However, beneath the surface of the fancy decoration, you are left with about one scoop of iced cream, very little sauce and a plain (tasteless) waffle. They make the top of the dessert look very busy to distract from what you are missing after you take 2-3 bites. Sadly, we dumped most of it because eating a plain waffle was simply not worth it. There's so many ways they could step up this dessert to make it worth while. They could layer the toppings, flavor the waffle and give you more than a scoop of ice cream. I mean, if I'm buying something like this, I'd like to at least enjoy the extra calories and feel like I am truly getting a $14 dessert! read more

Had a bubble cone at a food truck event. I ordered a sweet cone with vanilla ice cream as a plate to share with 2 others. It was $12 which I thought was reasonable until I ate some. The waffle which seems like the star of the dish, had absolutely no flavor. I would have guessed that it might have a hint of vanilla. My husband ordered a savory cone and his waffle also was bland. I believe they use the same batter for both sweet and sour which would mean they would want bland waffle as to not accidentally put a vanilla flavored waffle with Buffalo chicken. Long story short my eggos in the morning are better. After tasting the dish it was not worth $12 at all as is was really just an ice cream sundae. Big let down. read more

Ordered at a food truck at our local event. Waffle was totally stale, even my 4 year old wouldn't eat it. When I brought this to the owner's attention, he said he had used a fresh waffle. I reiterated it was hard, and he said he wouldn't refund me, but he would make another one. Given his "fresh" waffles were hard, I asked again for a refund. He was rude, and insisted that there was too much ice cream gone from then cone, which was entirely untrue. Won't eat here again, especially because he literally told me not to return. Wow!!! We will be telling Little League not to have them back. Update: I understand your desire to justify, but your reply is highly inaccurate. There was not even a full piece of a waffle "bubble" eaten. By the time I brought it back to you, the ice cream had melted and there was only the whipped cream that had been eaten. Also, we were not the only customers who thought the waffle was stale and tasteless. read more

My experience is similar to the other one star reviews. Microwaved popcorn chicken unevenly heated. Store bough buffalo sauce. Waffle was ok. Definitely not worth $15. Presentation is nice and all, but delivery is just horrible. If this food truck stops by my work again I definitely will look for food somewhere else. Save your time and money folks!! read more

Giving them a 1 star because it's not always about the food, it's about the workers too. Yes I've ate food here before it's decent, but I was driving on the 80 heading to vacaville and a huge bubble cone truck had ran me off the road with my baby in the car!!!! I honked at him and he continued to almost side swipe me. I'm sorry but my child's life is NOT worth your stupid driving. So I then passed him up and he had headphones in his ears and I looked at him and he looked Hispanic with facial hair. I meant to call but I had so much stuff to do that day. That was ridiculous and I called for and had a smile on his face when I passed him as he looked at me! Ridiculous!!! read more

Food was fast and thats about it. My bubble waffle wasn't made fresh and was actually cold and felt/tasted like it was sitting out for a while. I don't mind waiting as long as the food is fresh. I'd rather wait the ten minutes and have fresh food than have stale waffles. Found plastic in my drink, and when I went the truck to tell them the dude had his airpods in and was ignoring me. If you wanna use your phone at work at least be somewhere else and not be the one taking orders Lol. Other than that, alright customer service, fast (but not good) food. read more

If anyone gets a chance to see Bubblecone at an event near you, please say hello and check them out! I've gone to events such as Cal Expo and they have a wide variety of ice creams. If you need a refresher, they have really cool lemonades with flavors: watermelon, fruit punch, strawberry, raspberry, blueberry and blackberry. Prices are really good in my opinion with all of their items. Between 6-15, you're getting a good meal. I know California weather can be bipolar and have lots of hot summers, that's why I rely on Bubblecone to keep me cool. read more

Had the chicken with Mac and cheese....holy smokes what an amazing combination of sweet and savory! The original one they gave me didn't have the fried chicken bites but they immediately apologized and gave me a whole new one. Also had the blueberry lemonade! Tried this at the Mardi Gras Parade. They had a food truck going and it was delicious! We had two dessert cones (Casual and Classic) and a savory cone (Siracha Ranch w Mac & cheese)!! Super tasty and fun presentation. We ordered the Casual but it got the class I get first; they were super cool about correcting it and let us keep the Classic! I had a street sweet cone, which is my choice of ice cream (cookies and cream), whipped cream, chocolate syrup, chocolate cookie crumbles, marshmallows, and to top it off, two Oreo cookies and a wafer stick! All of that went into a hot delicious savory hazelnut waffle cone. Mmm mmm good! Everything was everything! The cone was warm and perfect for the cold concoction on top. It was soft and satisfying! It was a food truck that can rival other dessert food trucks that's for sure! read more

Their cones are awesome, both the chicken and the classic dessert cone. My wife and I had the Buffalo Cone and the Chipotle Mayo cone. Loved the spicy-ness of the Buffalo but was honestly jealous at how DELICIOUS the Chipotle Mayo was. Can't say enough good things about this truck! read more

the first time i visited howard gumbo was for a yelp event, and i enjoyed it so much that i had to…read morevisit again. since then, i've visited a few times, and the food has been hit or miss. when it's good, it's really good; otherwise it's mediocre. it can be hard to find, especially in the dark, but there's a small flashing open sign on the tent. there's a small parking lot - maybe 2 parking spots. howard gumbo is mostly set up for takeout, but there are also a few tables inside the tent to stand and eat at. service is very friendly; i can tell that it's family-owned. usually the wait isn't long either, but it depends on how many other orders they're working on. - napoleons 2pc cat (3.5/5): i loved the catfish that i tried at the yelp event. the catfish was breaded with cornmeal, which made it less oily, and it stayed crispy longer. i thought the breading was the same as the first time i tried it, but it was a lot saltier. it also came with a packet of tartar sauce at the event, but i didn't receive any the subsequent times i visited. it was actually so salty that i didn't need it anyway - napoleons 2pc red snapper (1.5/5): this was so overcooked that it was rubbery, chewy, and dry, which made it hard to swallow. the pieces of red snapper were big, but they were so dry... i had to dip them in gumbo to finish them. the cornmeal breading also started falling off on one piece, but what was left had good flavor. the other piece retained its breading, but it was so salty - 5$ holla seafood gumbo (4/5): when i tried this the first time, i thought it was one of the best gumbos i've ever had, even more so than the gumbos i've tried in louisiana. the subsequent times i've been, i thought it was even more on the thinner side, so it was more like a really thin soup. i still really enjoyed the savory and smoky flavor, but it was more watered down. they were generous with the amount of sausage, and it came with two shrimp - milo's gumbo fries (2.5/5): they gave us all of the components separately (a separate container of white rice, gumbo, and fries), so i felt like $25 was kinda expensive for what we got. it looked like i could've gotten the $5 gumbo and a side of fries and put it together myself, although it did come with a small piece of catfish on top. it was smaller than the catfish i got with the napoleons, but it was also less salty. i didn't think the portion was worth it either. the fries weren't seasoned, so they definitely needed to be dipped in the gumbo - fries (1.5/5): i thought the fries i had at the yelp event were a bit overcooked, but they were crispy and salted well. the fries i've gotten afterward have been less fried but also really bland. they were still a bit crispy on the outside but got soggy fast. i guess they balanced out the salty fish well, but they weren't as good to eat on their own. it looked like they switched between regular fries and crinkle fries based on availability i was a bit disappointed in the food at howard gumbo after having such a great initial experience at the yelp event. perhaps the quality issues could be attributed to growing pains. i still do think that the $5 gumbo is worth it, but i'm not sure about the rest of the menu. kathy's combo could be a good deal if you want to try a bit of everything, since it comes with the 5$ holla gumbo and catfish. i do hope they work the kinks out and wish them the best!

If you're lucky enough to dine here, definitely ask for Andra! I especially like the ambiance here. You can be casual or more fancy, bring a date or a client or a friend, and it's the perfect space. From the very first visit, we were impressed. Our party of four ordered six different items, and honestly, every single one was delicious. We loved it so much that we returned another day for dinner and ended up ordering ten different items from the menu. Once again, everything was excellent. What stood out most was how flavorful everything tasted without feeling greasy, overly sweet, or too heavy. The ingredients in both the savory dishes and desserts complemented each other really well, and you could tell a lot of thought went into the flavors and presentation. The staff were consistently warm, friendly, and welcoming throughout all of our visits, which made the experience even better. On our final day in town, we had a group of 18 people after a sushi feast and decided to order a large variety of desserts from here. The only downside we experienced was that the online menu didn't fully match what was actually available in the store. Since our group coordinated orders remotely, about one-third of the items selected online were unavailable when we went to pick everything up, so we had to reorganize several orders at the last minute. Even with that small inconvenience, we absolutely loved this place and would happily return the next time we're in town.

I normally don't get cheese foam but they were doing a BoGo so I gave it a try with a colleague. When I approached the food truck to place my order, I was appalled to find the employees lounging inside, engaging in shockingly unsanitary behavior such as placing their feet on the cooking counter. This blatant disregard for hygiene was just the beginning of my disappointing experience. I ordered a lemonade, only to be charged an outrageous $7. This would have been somewhat tolerable if the beverage had been of decent quality. However, what I received was a watery, flavorless concoction that tasted no better than the 50-cent lemonade sold at a child's roadside stand. The combination of unhygienic practices and overpriced, subpar refreshments makes this food truck one to avoid at all costs. read more

We ended up getting the casual and the classic - both did not disappoint! The fruit was fresh, toppings were just enough, ice cream and the cone base was light and delicious nothing like I've had before - 10/5 stars! Really really really really good! The waffle cones are so good and then! It gets even better when they fill them with delicious choices they give you. This is a stuffed waffle cone lightly crunchy on the edges and soft in the middle. This is a truck you don't want to pass up. read more
