Food was pretty good. Got the food to go, but they lost the order and it ended up sitting for 30 minutes or so on a table next to me before I realized it was my order. So it wasn't probably as good as it would have been fresh. Despite that, it was still pretty good. The bucket bites were the best thing we ordered. This is AN AMAZING PLACE! From the Decor to the Food, But Especially The Service! As Soon as I walked in, I was greeted with multiple smiles and friendly salutations! Sierra, the bartender was efficient and knowledgeable. They have some unique beers on tap including a sangria. She was very enthusiastic about sharing the list. Greg, the cook, takes pride in his creations! I had the hangover burger with fries done to perfection! This one may Even Be On The Yelp Picture list! The quality of meat and ingredients is incredible! The icing on the "5 Star Cake" is How Genuine Everyone was there, Including The Owner, Chris. He has poured his imagination and dreams into this place. He told me about the unique history of the property and his plans for expansion! Like Beget Like. I've been to the bucket two times, one time to sample their burger and live music. The other was to try their wings. I got the Spicy Bucket Burger, the spice is serious, if you're not sure about hot stuff, I'd recommend getting it on the side. Sadly, the wings were not as remarkable. On the cooler side temperature wise. The sauces were ok (Mountaineer Gold & Carolina Reaper) but were not what I was expecting in quality. Their appetizers are on point though! I can see that they tried for some unique menu items which I appreciate. Although the Burger with Cheese-Wiz scared me a bit. On live music nights, the atmosphere is fun and boozy. Parking can be tough on live music nights. I was looking for more local drafts, but they're list was just ok. Service was a bit rough on both nights, one night at the bar the other at a table. I had to go ask for a menu both times, and finding a waitress was hard at times. Not sure if I just happened to come on weird nights but I was not happy with the service. If I come back, I'd want to try some of their more unique items. Overall, an upgraded yet somewhat typical West Virginia bar with higher prices for average food and below average service. read more

Best new place to eat around Charleston! Been there several times for lunch and dinner and have yet to have anything I didn't like. Steak sandwiches are the best I've had around here, bucket balls are a unique and tasty option for appetizer. Wings and cheese fries are solid options as well and although I haven't had them yet, the steaks and grilled cheese both looked great. Couple the food and majorly renovated atmosphere with the coldest draft beer around and friendly owners/staff, you've got one of the best spots in the valley. 5+ stars! read more

Stopped by for lunch one Saturday...I REGRET NOTHING! The food was amazing and the staff is nice. Having moved here recently I have struggled to find food (especially wings) that are actually good. I am glad that someone recommended this place to me. I will be coming back, and will definitely bring visiting family and friends. We live in Charleston, and we have never been to this place, so we decided to give it a try. We were seated on the outside deck. We sat there for twenty minutes and were never waited on, so we got up and left. They may have good food, but we didn't get a chance to try it. This will be our last time there. read more

The foods good and the service can be. If its busy it tends to suffer, especially around the bar. Hard to beat the wings for 1$. I loved the pepperoni roll and it heated up well the second day. I prefer it to the cold spot. read more

Was looking forward to trying this place out after looking at the reviews. Sat nine minutes before someone asked if I would like something. After sitting 30 minuets my mushrooms finally came out and they were standard deep fried mushrooms. 42 minuets after I sat down my WV burger comes out and to be honest was disappointed. Bacon was under cooked and way too much cheese whiz on it in my opinion. Ordered some of the pepperoni rolls to go to try later. Very disappointed in this visit so not sure I will be back. read more

I've been here several times and I have never had anything I didn't like! The wings are huge!! The biggest you'll find in the valley by far and their bucket sauce is so tasty!! My favorite thing to get are the deep fried pepperoni rolls!! They're served with marinara sauce and are cheesy heaven!! The Almost Heaven dessert is exactly what it says almost heaven!! We stopped in today for lunch. I will be honest if it hadnt been for the positive reviews we would not have eaten there. The outside and inside needs a LOT of TLC, especially the bathrooms. With that being stated the food was really great. My husband and I both had burgers and my mom got a BLT sandwich. We were all pleasantly surprised. We ordered are food at 12:15 after waiting for a server , ended up walking out 1hr 15mins later without getting our food. Never once our server checked on us and we even asked another server if he could get him so we can have it to go and get a refill. He never came to the table!!! Would not recommend eating lunch there unless you have 2 hrs to kill. I can not rate the food because it never made it. I was really impressed with this restaurant. One of my employee's and I were out of town for work and we were looking for a place to eat. I saw the bucket on my Yelp app and we decided to try it. The owner actually came out and went from table to table introducing himself and ask each table how everything was. We told him that we were from out of town and saw the restaurant on the Yelp App. He ask our waitress to put in an order of pepperoni rolls for us and that it was on the house. How many restaurants will the owner come out, talk to you, and then give you an appetizer on the house. Great place! You have a customer every time I travel to West Virginia. Okay, I'm a little torn on how I feel about this place. Last night was our first night eating there, just my husband and myself. We arrived a little before six, on a Thursday, and the place was very busy. Our server took our drink orders pretty quickly, but after our drinks arrived, it took several minutes for our waitress to return and take our food order. We had the deep-fried pepperoni rolls for an appetizer. They were amazing, and served to us fairly quickly. BUT we then had to wait 50 minutes to get our entrees. We both ordered burgers and the burgers tasted above average, but my fries were stone cold and yet, my husband's onion rings were hot and delicious. Our server did a fair job at refilling our drinks, and yet she kept doing what I now think of as a "drive-by-check-in". She would walk quickly past our table, without looking directly at us, and say "Do you two need anything?" It's a good thing we didn't need anything because she was moving too fast to hear our answer to the question. The staff seems to be unable to handle a dinner rush. As I said, I'm torn. Great food, great atmosphere, decent prices, and tons of beers on tap! We went on a Monday and it was really slow, but our waitress was great and fast and very accommodating. Got the Philly wrap, wife got the chicken quesadilla and both were very tasty, plus they have funnel cake for dessert! This place is huge inside and has a huge outdoor eating areas where they host live music on certain nights. This will be our go to spot when we have a baby sitter.
