Everything felt very basic and under seasoned, and half of us didn't even finish our meals. It really seemed like they were completely unprepared for brunch service. I hired Marissa as the "day of coordinator" but she really did so much more than that! Marissa was available to me any time that I had any questions. She met with my family and I in Minnesota a few months before the wedding when we happened to be in town and had dinner with us. She had at least three to four conference calls with us throughout the wedding planning process. She even went to the venue with my mom a month before the wedding when my mom happened to be in town. And any time that anything came up, Marissa was always there to help me or to answer any questions that I had. On the day of my wedding, Marissa was at the venue early in the morning setting up my fairytale wedding. She worked tirelessly all day - in the heat and humidity. She kept the wedding running smoothly. She stayed for the entire wedding and even picked up afterwards. As an out of town bride, I was somewhat needy. At our rehearsal, for example, she was very dismissive of our officiant's plans/suggestions and seemed to respond to mildly challenging situations (e.g. corralling people to walk down the aisle) by getting visibly annoyed rather than calmly directive. There seemed to be a tension underlying a lot of her tasks and, though things got done, I didn't feel great about the atmosphere and, in some cases, felt like I needed to apologize on her behalf (e.g. to the officiant) for her demeanor. With that said, the wedding day went smoothly and my (limited) interactions with her that day were fine. So, perhaps this is down to personality differences. In which case, if you are considering this company's services, I would merely recommend that you take the time to meet with Marissa and evaluate whether she is a good fit for you.

From the open house in January that had appetizer/cake tasting and entree tasting a few months before the big day, we were constantly impressed and stuffed! We received countless positive reviews from family members and guest on how incredible the dinner, cupcakes and hors d'oeuvres were at the wedding. Some guests even describes the food service as "magical," the servers seem to appear out of no where and serve all tables at the same time. We chose to have our ceremony on site as well as the reception. We loved being able to create our own aisle design and ambience. The guests did not sit in rows but instead at the tables they would be served dinner. I loved how this was set up, it felt more cozy and less formal and intimidating to me and my husband. We were allowed to take photos on site before the ceremony. There are many beautiful locations on the Crown Room grounds as well as inside to take photos as a large group or as a couple. We found it very sweet that this beautiful room was nestled in a senior living facility. There were many residents that would sit in their front lounge and admire all the beautiful dresses and give such kind compliments and advice to us newlyweds! Tee boxes, fairways, and greens were well kept. There is a river that hugs a couple of holes to make it interesting. Other than one or two blind holes, as a first time player, the course was easy to understand where to hit. It was a challenging course. I enjoyed the variety or the holes. Staff was welcoming. The club house was able to accommodate our large group in the downstairs area. I am looking forward to come back and play my own ball.

I didn't even need an actual wedding planner or personal attendant for my wedding because the staff here took care of EVERYTHING and they did it FLAWLESSLY! The bartenders were super nice and patient with our guests, they even took a photo at our photo booth for our guest book! It's always refreshing to see the staff having just as much fun as the guests! Food: We picked out our menu for the reception and went with the Top Sirloin and the Caribbean Chicken. Bother we're a hit, however the complements we got regarding the steak were the best. Even after the wedding, people still talk about how amazing the steak was! I held my wedding at this venue on…read more06/01/2019 and while the decorations and atmosphere were amazing, the way that complaints were treated afterwards was far from amazing. If you have already put a deposit down for your future wedding, I would go into it not expecting to see any of your extra paid for meals, and the staff doing nothing about wedding crasher complaints. My husband had to haul out wedding crashers himself, and when the issue was brought up to the bartender he said it "wasn't his problem". Our "point of contact" was never found and told about the issue. A groom should NEVER have to deal with this on his own. We never expected formal security, but we did expect the people in charge to take care of the issue. I am truly appalled with the way that one of the supervisors, Alex, treats complaints and the people they come from. After we saw no resolution from emailing back and forth with another employee, we chose to have a sit down and unfortunately Alex is who we were sat with. Never once did he take responsibility for the issues at hand, and instead flipped them around onto us and making it out to be our problem. He assumed that our issues were because of financial issues. We never once asked for a refund, nor did we expect one. Are we angry that money was wasted? Absolutely. But we're even more angry that nobody from this establishment would take the blame for their mistakes. It's disheartening that the people who work for this establishment do not care about their customers. When we could not come to any kind of middle grounds, we told Alex that we would be giving bad reviews and the response we received was "that's fine" so here I am. As we were walking out of the building, I could hear him talking about us with another employee. Extremely unprofessional on their part, as people in the customer service industry.
