Came here by chance, but let me say that I'm really glad I did! The buffalo fries were actually quite good! The chicken was cook proper, good cuts, properly sauced, and a fair amount for the price! Their Atomic heat level isn't really all that hot, but it's a mall - I'll forgive them for that given that their blue cheese was phenomenal! Just a bit of sauce and a few good sized chunks of the goods! These guys get it! ;) The service was quick and friendly. You order from a kiosk so the interaction is somewhat minimal, but the we're keeping a good pace in the back and getting those orders out quick! The ambiance is that of a mall food court. Yummy Original Buffalo Fries at Los Cerritos Center's Food Court! I got the Chicken Cali Burrito, the Original Buffalo Fries, and the Dulce De Leche Shake. The Chicken Cali Burrito comes double wrapped which is nice. My first couple bites were just tortilla and fries, it wasn't until the middle when I got chicken. The bites with the chicken were pretty good, I enjoyed them. The bites without chicken were very dry. It seems like all the chicken was placed in the middle of the burrito. The Original Buffalo Fries were great. The fries aren't too crispy, but they're not soggy or soft. The chicken on top of the fries were great as well. I'm pretty sure the "Buffalo" in the name doesn't mean the chicken tastes like buffalo chicken, I believe it's what they call the size of the chicken. The Dulce De Leche Shake was good. It's sweet, and it looks pretty. It's not anything special or different. There are a lot of ordering kiosks on the counter so it's easy to order, look at the menu, read the food descriptions, and pay. The counter and the kiosks were clean. Since The Buffalo Spot is at a mall food court, there's plenty of seating. The seating and tables are usually clean, the cleaning employees are very attentive. There isn't much interaction with employees unless you order with them or you talk to them when you pick up your order. Generally, they seem nice, and they call out your order name loudly. They kind of just stand near the counter unless they're making shakes, helping customers, or packing up the orders. I don't usually complain but DAMN. Worst customer service. Workers have no initiative or sense of urgency. They lack common sense they handed me my chicken sandwich with two slices of cheese on top those slices were COLD now if that's how they serve cheese chicken sandwiches like that I guess but then I proceed to tell the women why do I have cold slices of cheese on my sandwich then proceeds to say want me to put it in the microwave. I know you're not supposed to put food after it's been cooked into a microwave defeats the purpose and can cross contaminate the food. NEVER AGAIN! Came here for a quick meal and was extremely disappointed. Service was horrible and the young girl helping me was very clearly stoned. Couldn't get her name because she had no name tag. After I went back to see if they could change my order because it was not what I asked for, I was rudely told "well that's what you ordered so it's not my fault". I politely asked if they were able to exchange my food and they said they couldn't because they were low on chicken. How are you gonna be low on chicken if that's the main thing you sell? First time here. Ordered the Buffalo chicken salad and asked for it to be turned into a wrap. Well, I can say the wrap was good and thick. Buuuuut, it wasn't what ordered. The wrap was supposed to have veggies in it but what I got had no veg at all and it was replaced with French fries. Like, what?!?! It says on the menu that salads can be turned into a wrap. And they forgot the dressing on the side. Suck. That's why it was less stars. Otherwise, it's pretty good. Can eat the wrap in two sittings. Also ordered the peanut butter shake. February 2022, Our work ordered takeout from this location since it's local. we ordered several items to share (buffalo fries, wings, fries, etc). I'm giving this place a 4 since they missed out on all our sauces but the quality of the items were good. prices are high for the small portion size but i think i would come back just to try the other flavors for the wings. read more

Came here to pick up some buffalo fries and they didn't disappoint. The large was big enough for two people to share without being overly full, but if you were looking for a gut bomb, you could totally indulge on your own. The chicken itself was well seasoned and tender and there was a great consistency of fries to protein. You'll definitely want a fork to enjoy. So why three stars? The staff doesn't care. Like literally, they'll leave people at the register when there's a line because they're talking, and when the food comes up, they'll place it down, won't bag it, and just move on with their day. While we were waiting, it was kind of disheartening to see how they were interacting with the public, and it wasn't super busy. Would I come back? Maybe. Worthy of being in a mall food court. On a recent visit to Los Cerritos Center I stopped here and ordered regular sized buffalo fries with medium sauce and a chocolate milkshake. Prices were on the high side especially for the shake. It took a little less than 10 minutes to arrive at the counter; I think they cook to order. The buffalo fries consisted of a pile of french fries combined with deep fried pieces of chicken. The medium sauce is better described as mild. I can't handle very spicy food and the medium was like nothing to me. The deep fried balls of chicken were soft and mushy. I was hoping they would have some crunch; I'm not sure if they normally are that squishy texture but I didn't care for it. They had no taste other than the sauce. The fries were decent though and there were plenty of them. I kept thinking I might enjoy these buffalo fries if I were a tween or if I had them in front of me in a bar on game day after 4 or 5 beers. The milkshake was on the level of the worst fast food shake imaginable. It tasted artificial. If it is, in fact, made from real ice cream it must be a very low quality ice cream. I've never in my life thrown out a milkshake but this one was tossed when half finished. So were the buffalo fries. Good customer service and decent fries barely keep things at two stars. read more

I was surprised to find this place in the food court. Then again, Los Cerritos Center has a better food court than most. That being said, if you're hankering for some good wings at the mall and don't want to leave to go to WingStop, then the Buffalo Spot is your go-to place. Their prices are almost identical to WingStop, but they have wraps and my new fav, buffalo fries. These fries get topped with boneless wings tossed in your choice of flavor and the fries, itself, gets its own seasoning, too. I got the traditional buffalo wings over lemon pepper seasoned fries. O M G... sooooo good. Even when I reheated my left overs at home for my wife to try, she said she loved it and told me she regretted not eating it hot and fresh when we were at the mall. That says a lot if the reheated version is still pretty dang good. Hot Dog on a Stick is right next door, so a large lemonade went perfectly with the fries (but an ice cold coke or beer would have been even better...) This mall is a bit of a stretch for us, distance wise, but considering there's so much to see and shop and the food is this good, my wife is trying to think of an excuse to come back and have some more wings and fries. I came here for lunch with my family in the middle of Christmas shopping at Cerritos Mall the other day because I had been craving fried chicken for the past week. I had heard that this place was supposed to be really good and was excited to try it, so we waited patiently in the long line. The cashier and guy who handed us our food later were nice, and we ordered the Buffalo fries and a Buffalo chicken salad. The wait was sort of long too (15 minutes?), but I understand that it's because they're probably frying the food to order. It was our first time, so we had no idea that the "buffalo" in the name doesn't mean that it has buffalo sauce on the chicken. We got the Buffalo fries with honey bbq sauce and a Buffalo chicken salad with plain chicken and blue cheese dressing. They also gave us their special sauce, which tasted like a chipotle mayo (they gave us the dressing and mayo on the side). I thought that all the food tasted okay, but it wasn't extremely amazing for the price that we paid. The Buffalo fries with honey bbq sauce were okay--they were thicker cut fries with tiny fried chicken pieces (the size of popcorn chicken but the texture of chicken tenders--not very crispy) and covered in a sweet and smoky honey bbq sauce. The fries were good because they were hot and warm, but the chicken was okay and there wasn't a lot of chicken compared to the fries. The bbq sauce was not necessarily memorable. The special sauce (which I think was a chipotle mayo) worked well as a dipping sauce for the fries, but it was also just okay. The Buffalo chicken salad had lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, red onions, and the same tiny fried chicken pieces. It also tasted just okay and didn't have much chicken on it either. Maybe the other sauces/flavors are much better than what I tried. I think that I would probably go to Wingstop instead if I really wanted flavored fried chicken. This is for the Buffalo Spot specifically in the Los Cerritos Mall. Customer service wise the place was very pleasant and seemed very organized. The food was pretty good since my girlfriend and I were enjoying our food. We left and several hours later as we start to eat our leftovers I was appalled to find a FLY in my gfs box. Mind you we kept the lid sealed the whole time since getting home and the fly was at the very BOTTOM of her box meaning that Fly was simply there since the beginning. I shocked that something like that got passed to a customer. And I hope the manager JORGE has a serious talk with whoever was behind the grill! read more
