    The Wreck
    Charity L.

This was my first time coming to this shop. Bread was over toasted. It literally cut my mouth. No meat in the sandwich. I got the wreck which suppose to be a meat lovers sandwich but it was all hard bread. And why is the pot pie soup sweet? I'm tired of paying high prices everywhere and the food quality has been lowered. $30 Service was good but food not.

almost half of the ingredients are missing

six of us waited over 30 minutes for our online orders. The employees were very rude one of the girls threw an older ladies food at her once it was finally done. When asked us to speak to a manager, the managers excuse for his disrespectful employees was that they are busy. That is no excuse to throw food at somebody. Half of what I ordered on my sandwich is completely missing. I will never go to this location again do not support them. They are very rude and disrespectful. and we have an eight minute audio recording of the whole thing.

    Chicken Pot Pie Soup
    Kimberley A.

First time trying this place out. Started off with the soup to warm the body up. All I can say is Oh, MAH-gawd. The chicken pot pie soup was super hearty and chunky; the kind you'd definitely consider soul food. I added pot pie topping and cheddar to it as well. De-lish!! As cold as it's getting, this is sure to brighten up your smile and have you wishing you had the recipe. The sandwich wasn't made correctly, but I took it back and they corrected it but it was because the app limits you on order details and the man was nice enough to explain how to go about ordering properly to get the best of what the place has to offer. so if you're feeling like a good hearty soup and sandwich deal, order off of Door Dash and Postmates, but not yelp.

The Oreo Milkshake and the Tuna Salad Sandwich.

I love that even during lunch on a weekday the line moves quickly, and that prices are comparatively reasonable for downtown. I ordered the Tuna Salad Sandwich, "100% Albacore tuna with Swiss cheese toasted and then topped with fresh lettuce and tomato on multigrain" ($5.50). You can add extra items like onions and peppers. I also ordered an Oreo milkshake ($3.55). They have soups and cookies too. Service was very patient and friendly and my sandwich was tasty! But the milkshake was too thin. They do have malts, so I'll opt for that instead next time, they tend to be thicker. There is indoor and outdoor seating. Inside it's very cute, like you're transported into the late 40's. I think they are trying to emulate traditional sandwich shops, and I love it!

My sandwich was pathetic! 1 tiny strip of meat I guess I paid to eat bread. The pickle was cut thicker than the meat.

Mediterranean sandwich, jalapeño chips, and a chocolate shake. Look at the cute cookies!

My daughter has been raving about this place so I thought I would give it a shot and googled if…read morethere was an Angie's near where I was going to be and lo and behold, there was not too far away at 1st Ave/Thomas. That location is close to a place I go to frequently, so this is another option for me if I should need some food and don't want to do Salad & Go, but want something healthy. I got an Asian Grilled Burrito with Wild Salmon. Was driving so a bowl I could not do. I could barely eat the burrito driving because it's sort of flat and had rice. It was very yummy. Something I learned was Angie's does not have straws and if you order a Refresher, they give you a packet of something to put in the cup. You have to figure out how to make the Refresher, which I saw at the soda fountain dispenser there was sparkling water, so I did that and some Vanilla Torino's. I went about 11 am, and the Torino's were nearly gone and the little table that it was on was fairly unclean. The area to order, where you pickup the order, the soda area, and the metal table by the soda area were all really close and crowded. Since this was my first time there, I didn't even understand that you had to order at some kiosk. They had one by the pickup area and 2 more on the east wall. Felt overwhelming for me. I did not see what the dining area looked like. My burrito was $11-12 and the Refresher was $2. My daughter said their prices were much better than Salad and Go and other places, but I found my meal similar. Oh, I guess the getting wild salmon was the costly thing. Had I gotten chicken, it would've been much less. My daughter said she's never had their burritos, only their salads. A lady that had ordered many times there did help me with some things I didn't understand and she said she loves their food. Turns out the owner of Angie's named the places after his mom who passed away about 5 yrs ago. He also started Salad and Go and this is upscale from Salad and Go. I'm glad this is an option. But maybe they can keep prices good is to cut on the things that don't really matter as much and focus on the food. I'm good with that. The next time I go to an Angie's, I will be better prepared. There isn't one too close to me like there are lots of Salad and Go's, so I hope they open some in Gilbert, Mesa, and Scottsdale. Oh, parking is not that great at this location. You basically need to be heading east on Thomas before 1st Ave as there are a few parking spots on the diagonal. Don't park in the First Watch parking lot. If you're coming west on Thomas, make a u-turn after you pass 1st Ave.

It was an amazing value for the money and the chicken was tender, spinach was crisp...I was impressed! Tonight I stopped by and decided to try the prime beef bowl with the cilantro dressing. I was delighted with the value, serving size and quality of the meat and ingredients. The "slop bowl" is a strong concept these days -- a jumble of veggies, fillers like quinoa or rice, and protein. Pleased to report that Angie's stands apart from the crowded field, distinguished by flavor and quality. Worth noting: you place orders on the kiosk and can customize. There are quesadillas, bowls, plates and more from which to choose. Because you do the order selection and input, the staff can focus entirely on assembling and delivering the orders. Efficient, orderly, but without the pleasure of a great server-customer interaction. That said, the value is unmatched.

At the downtown Phoenix location, my order was made incorrectly, yet I still paid full price. After going through the drive-thru, I had to go inside just to get my large fries corrected. Instead of a simple apology, the employee working the fries gave me an attitude and claimed there weren't any fries left, even though it was obvious there were plenty available. I want to give credit where it's due--Luis was the only employee who treated me with respect and provided great customer service. Unfortunately, the manager, Yamileh, didn't seem to care about resolving the situation or making things right. To make matters worse, they told me they didn't have Texas toast, even though it's one of Whataburger's signature bread options and is featured on their menu. I was also charged for additional fries just to get the order corrected, which shouldn't happen when the mistake wasn't mine. The staff seemed more focused on having a good time with each other than making sure customers received the correct orders. On top of that, the food quality was disappointing. The burger and fries were overly salted, making the meal almost impossible to enjoy. I've always enjoyed Whataburger, which is why this experience was so disappointing. I hope management addresses the customer service, professionalism, and quality control at this location because loyal customers deserve much better.
