What a joke! I've been wanting to write this review for awhile. We came in to do a cake tasting for my sister in laws . We got to sample the red velvet which wasn't my first choice but she likes it. The cake was dry. At frost taste I was like okay I give it a chance and see if it's the entire sample or just the first bite. Nope it was the whole sample was dry. Not sure if it was an old one or sitting for awhile. Either way needless to say she chose a different cake for her wedding. Although the location of this shop is close to where she lives. I'm glad we had a chance to try sample first before deciding. The cake and buttercream that she chose was a lot better tasting as well. read more

I decided to take a walk around the neighborhood and ran into this nice little cake shop. Visiting from out of town so I decided to walk in and see what this place was about. I was greeted as soon as I walked in. They were very helpful and answered all my questions. They have all kinds of flavors and cake options. Also allowed me to try a few samples. Very clean and well organized. I ended up walking out with a few cakes. By the way the cakes were delicious. Very soft and packed with flavor. One Google search + a few follow-up searches on Yelp! and I found a place that would make me a gluten free cake in a short time frame. You see, a few weeks ago my hubby had to go gluten free and my original plan for his b-day cake - I realized late - wouldn't be an option since the birthday boy couldn't eat it! So after finding a few bakeries online and scoping them out, I picked this one because it had so many flavors of GF cakes to choose from, 8 as opposed to most shops 2 or 3. I settled on Banana Chocolate Chip. Packaging: Perfect! Cute little white box tied up in a ribbon :) Presentation: Cute Bundt, bursting with white icing and chocolate sprinkles Taste: OMG!! Delicious! The banana was the first flavor that hits your tongue, it was strong but not overpowering and the chocolate chips were spread perfectly throughout. Oh and the frosting, oh my the frosting - sugary sweet perfection. The cake was so good it gave me a little rush (both from the sugar and the excitement of a good GF cake)! I will definitely go back. My mother purchased a $60 Bundt cake for a family celebration in April and the cake was raw with batter seeping out. She tried to call, but received no response. She took the cake back in and still no one would respond or rectify the situation. Then she wrote an email, and still didn't receive the courtesy of a response. I don't understand why they wouldn't just replace or refund the cake! They could've kept a customer, but instead they wanted to keep their $60. I waited 2 1/2 months to write this review as my mother thought that perhaps the managers or owner would do what they could to rectify the situation, but they haven't. Now I see that when this company receives negative reviews, they question, whether or not the customers have the right location! Yeah, we got the right location: the Bundt Shoppe in Castle Pines. Do yourself a favor and find another cake shop with a more responsive manager who cares about the quality of their products and service. read more

I've always had a great experience here. I've also never tried a bunt cake here I didn't like. I recently placed a large order for a party and happen to work with the owner's daughter who is a gem. Ordering was super easy, staff was super reliable, and dessert was super yummy. The only bummer is they don't always offer samples, and the cakes are kind of pricey. Your customer service is ridiculously poor. I placed a small order for 18 mini bundt cakes for my ten year old's birthday party at 1:54PM on a Friday. They were to be picked up at 3:00PM the next Saturday. My daughter came home from school and said she preferred an ice cream cake. I called the shop back and asked to cancel the order at 3:22PM on the same Friday. The girl working told me I could NOT cancel the order because it was within 24 hours. Oh, AND, that they've already started making the order (EYEROLL). I seriously doubt that because the order was literally 18 mini cupcakes, 1/2 double chocolate and half vanilla. Totally ridiculous. Bought a Cookies and Cream cake for Mother's Day. It was very moist and the icing delicious! I think I would have liked the Red Velvet or another flavor more but it was still good. What I thought was great is that they have a very good variety of gluten free which my sister-in-law loved! I got her the double chocolate and it was very good. On May 7th, I was a walk-in to your store, and I asked the young lady behind the counter if these were all the mini cakes, they had available. At first, she told me yes but when she saw that I was having a hard time deciding which ones I needed to buy (because the ones I needed they were out of and the ladies I was buying them for had allergies, so I had to be careful) She told me that she would go into the back and make me up some new mini cakes that I needed which really helped me out. I love this charming little shoppe! Its welcoming, super clean, and has the friendliest staff and most wonderful smells luring you inside! We made our selections (hard to do because there are so many options!) and placed an order for 36 individual bundt bites for a family birthday for our 3 yr old granddaughter. PERFECT size for adults and children! Our granddaughter had a blast sampling a few bite flavors and didn't get that huge sugar high that a full sized piece of birthday cake would've created. The flavor assortment pleased everyone! The staff at the Bundt Shoppe in Castle Pines put colorful sprinkles on the mini bundt bites, and decorated the boxes with colorful ribbons! The boyfriend bought some mini bundt cakes for us to try.. I have to say that I am having a difficult time deciding whether I like cupcakes or bundt cakes more! The bundt cakes are really reasonably priced.. especially since one small one can feed 2-3. I love the cake - very moist and firm/filling. However, I thought the frosting was a little bit TOO sweet, so I ended up throwing away a lot of it. We had the Lemon Lemon, Dark Chocolate Raspberry, and Marble cakes.. I went here for the first time the other day and it is such a cute little shop on the inside. There are so many flavors to choose from. I tried the carrot cake. It was very good. I like that there isn't a overwhelming amount of frosting on their cakes. The carrot cake has raisins in it so if you don't like raisins, you won't like this cake. I can't wait to go back and try more flavors!! The lady working there is very nice, I didn't catch her name. The only thing that makes me sad is their hours are exactly the same as my work hours so by the time I get home they are closed and then they are not open on Sunday's which is one of my only days off. read more
