We had a reservation at 8:10p, and got seated pretty quickly and outside as requested. However the table was right by the door and people kept walking into my chair which was fun. 9:20p and we've gotten one drink and one appetizer everything finally came at 9:30 and we finished at 10p. I saw several other tables waiting for food and checks so the staff were maybe probably overwhelmed. Regardless the amount of time to get one steak and two sushi rolls was ridiculous. The steak was medium rare but the crust had zero flavor and it was essentially an unseasoned steak with a very light sauce. This came with a decent loaded baked potato and an attempt at adding some greens between the two. Overall not impressive. My sushi rolls were good, not great. They tasted like a roll you could get anywhere and at $20+/6 pieces you expect something unique or different. I saw plenty of people here dressed up and on dates so there's good people watching but I can't recommend coming here given the quality does not match the price point. read more

What a service we had! Carlo was our server and he was absolutely a delight. I don't think I have ever had such a beautiful experience at a restaurant. We wanted to have a cocktail and some apps but Because of his personality and his great hospitality we stayed longer than expected. We ended up having our dinner and several cocktails. Our appetizers included the crab cake, shrimp cocktail, ahi tuna and Brussel sprouts. So why so many? I should have paid attention to the menu and noted that the crab cake is singular. One piece, and is poquito. I literally inhaled all $28 of it. it was good, but.... Aside from that crab cake hiccup, the service is great and the ambience amazing. Wow! This place is a scene! I wasn't sure based on all the influencer pics that the food would be good but it far exceeded expectations. We were sat next to a group of people who knew Michael Mina, and he was there that night to serve them. The level of service we got vs the people around us was atrocious to say the least. We had empty plates that didn't get bussed. Our table was getting crowded very quickly as the food kept coming in - and we ordered $500 worth of it. We both needed a refill of water and waited to see how long it would take to get a refill before flagging down our server. About 10 min passed by of watching servers walk out of the kitchen, walking past our table to serve the group of people next to us, ignoring our table of empty plates and water cups. We get it - Michael Mina's guests are here, so you should prioritize their table. It just doesn't feel right having to watch other people get amazing service while we're wondering where ours is. I wanted to ask for the check early because I felt like we weren't being treated with the same respect as other people in the restaurant. The food itself was good but not $500 good, if you know what I mean. My boyfriend liked his burger but said he he's had better. I got the lobster pasta which tasted a little flat. I wasn't very satisfied. We ordered the omakase. We both agreed we should've went to an actual omakase restaurant to get the omakase experience - bad decision on our part. We will not be coming back. We have never experienced such mediocre service before, and the food wasn't on par with the $500 check. This place is fantastic in every way! I had an amazing brunch with my cousin yesterday. It was a gorgeous cool sunny afternoon in Tiburon. My cousin had the Truffle-Yellowtail Sashimi which she raved about. She worked in the restaurant biz 25 years and knows her stuff. I got the Burrata & Persimmon salad which was refreshing and very tasty. For the main course we got the Crème Brûlée French Toast and the Buttermilk Fried Chicken Sandwich, both outstanding. For dessert we had expresso and the Meyer Lemon Crêpe Cake. I think I was in a sugar coma for the rest of the day, Lol. Ran at the gym this morning, ha ha! The cocktails were excellent as well. Came here for my brother's 40th. The food and drinks were solid. I ordered the Sole and others around the table ordered steak, pot pie, and lobster pasta amongst other things. I was very pleased with my dinner but I know some of my counterparts felt their dish was mid. To put it short, their chicken was dry. There's nothing worse than dry chicken. The restaurant is hidden in the cuts of Tiburon and sits right by the water. I wasn't too fond of the drive there, the road getting there were dimly lit and oncoming car lights were blinding especially if the lights were led. Something to think about if you have trouble seeing at night. The restaurant offers valet but if you go up the street through the local shops, you will find a parking lot where you pay the attendant when leaving. All in all, it was a nice evening but the food took a long time to arrive. We arrived a little before 6:30pm, orders were probably placed around 7 and the food arrived a little after 8pm. Your Hostess on Sunday April 28th around 1:30PM told me there were no seats and no reservations available, she then told the person immediately after me that she would need to wait a few minutes until a table opens up. I went online and noticed that there were plenty reservations available, so I made one at 1:45pm. When I came back, she said she would be able to seat me. As I waited, another guest came in with no reservations, the host was very polite and enthusiastic with their conversation and even let them know that they can be seated shortly. WITH NO RESERVATION! I am a black man, and they were Caucasian. I don't like to make things about race, as I've come so far and am self-made, I think that is a crutch and excuse. I was very polite and greeted her with a smile. To turn me away with no reservation and not even offer the information that reservations can be made and were available, is a failure on her end and definitely lost a future customer. That's why I feel my race was the only factor to why she attempted to turn me away. I was so enraged that I didn't want to leave gratuity, but I received stellar service after and your Captain Marco Silva was very accommodating. I'm not looking for compensation. This restaurant checks all the boxes for brunch with stellar views of the water and San Francisco, a fun and welcoming 1960-70's Upper Haight ambiance, and open indoor and outdoor dining spaces. We started with a round of Bloody Mary's made with a thick homemade tomato juice blend, espresso martinis and a few glasses of rosé bubbles. All of our drinks were well made and enjoyable. Next we mostly all order the lobster jalapeño toast, duck wings, black truffle Cesar (yum) as our starters from the prix fixe menu. Everyone's starter was amazing and packed with lots of flavor. For the main my eggs Benedict was kind of uninspired, while it was amazingly delicate and freshly prepared. I felt that it lacked some boldness in the hollandaise sauce which was white not the traditional yellow. My wife's burger was decadent and amazing, and my friends steaks we're perfectly prepared and tender. I prob won't order their eggs Benny again, and I'd consider to stick to the not so brunch American foods on the menu.
