The free parking lot across the street wasn't crowded on a Tuesday afternoon and we no problem getting an indoor table. An outside table on the pier might've been nicer except it was too windy. This is not the beach, but an inlet, so I wasn't wowed by the views. The menu online seems to have been updated, so I added the photos of the ones we were shown. The experience for me was good, not great, but I only had a house salad and a too-large-to-finish Bavarian pretzel for lunch. My wife enjoyed their lobster roll. The others were all happy campers with the place, the ladies enjoyed their Cosmos, I had a Stella, and my buddy with the burger and sweet potato fries was a good boy and stuck with a non-alcoholic drink. Overall okay, I'd go back (except I'd avoid predictably crowded times), but it wouldn't be my first choice.

Great spot, great staff, food, drinks and view! Our go to spot on the water. They've always got great special which change from time to time. Love the scallops when they have. Finally had some Octopus for lunch and it was excellent (ordered the app, my wife doesn't like octopus and it's almost always an app soI can never get it). Lobster pizza is always a fun one to share.. Can go by boat as well (must leave dock by 6pm)

We stopped in on a Friday evening. Even though we were early, there was still a 45 minute wait for a table. We didn't have time so we had to do the takeout by the beach. We ordered shrimp, tacos, cheeseburger, tacos, fried clams, tuna, tacos, and multiple cocktails. The drinks were tasty, we enjoyed them. The shrimp tacos were beyond bland and needed sauce in a bad way. It was just a lot of lettuce with two shrimp on top. No lime no nothing. Clam strips were very disappointing not fresh obviously frozen out of a box. My girlfriend enjoyed the tuna tacos though. The best was the cheeseburger tacos, which at least had some sauce and flavor to it. I'm really disappointed we couldn't get into the restaurant but we had a show to see. I would assume the food would be better there. Atmosphere is nice, people are very friendly. I think it's a better place to just have cocktails outside.

Beautiful restaurant on the water. The wait was a bit long, but once we got seated we were served quickly. The New England clam chowder was amazing. This is not pictured in the review, but I would highly suggest getting the shrimp Poboy.

Already counting down to summer! This spot is pure magic, with incredible staff and unforgettable experiences. Can't wait to return!

Wonderful informal neighborhoody kid friendly hang. There was a solo guitarist the evening I was there. He was very good singing famous hits and wasn't over powering to thwart conversations. Small parking lot outside. Right in the bay. Starters - doz raw clams and fried calamari. I was actually very surprised that the calamari was totally delicious. Lump crab meat tacos and monkfish tacos were also excellent. Key lime pie was a bit small of a slice but was amazing. Very creamy. Decent decaf coffee. Excellent service. Love this kind of tee shirt and jeans spot!! Def doing back.

Lovely location on the water at the tip of Point Lookout. Friendly and fast bar service with a large dining room. Good for both families and couples. We didn't eat there so no comment on the food. Location, location!

Came here for my sister in law's birthday and it was good. Calamari was amazing. Only wish it wasn't a rainy day but it was still nice. Service was good, nice place. I'd definitely come back here.

We had a great early dinner on the docks. It was high tide, customers' kids were swimming, enjoying last days of summer. Such a great atmosphere. Cocktails are great! View is awesome! And the fish is fresh!! We had the baked clams which were so good... and the shrimp were large and fresh. My mahi tacos were meaty.. Definitely a great sunny spot!

The service was outstanding too -- our server was friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home. They really know how to take care of their guests. One fun little touch: I accidentally walked out with one of their pens, and I just want to say thank you for that! It's now my new favorite pen and reminds me of a great night every time I use it Highly recommend J.A. Heneghan's Tavern -- we'll definitely be back soon. Five stars all the way!

Waiter, who was excellent and attentive, continued to apologize for the more than an hour it took for our dinners to arrive. Ordered the French Dip from the specials menu. Very skimpy portion of meat in that roll but in their defense the meat and dipping gravy were tasty. Buttermilk Fried Chicken sandwich was tasty and side of Tater Tots crisp and tasty. May wait another while before trying again.

Our waitress made us feel completely comfortable we were laughing, having side conversations, and genuinely enjoying ourselves all night. By the end of the evening, she even said, "Goodnight, love you!" and quickly laughed saying she didn't mean to say it. That pretty much summed up the vibe of the night friendly, relaxed, and memorable. The food was excellent from start to finish. I had the Caesar salad appetizer, which was very good, and my sister had the calamari, which she said was excellent. For our entrées, we both ordered the chicken parmesan with alavaca sauce, and it was absolutely delicious. To finish the night, we shared the crème brûlée for dessert, and it was the perfect treat. The portion is definitely big enough for two people, so I wouldn't recommend ordering one per person. The location is beautiful and right by the water true to the restaurant's name. The only small thing to note is the parking. There are two parking lots, and the first one is definitely the better option. The second lot leads closer to the waterfront entrance and can feel a little tight and snug when parking. Overall, we had an amazing time and would absolutely go back. Great food, great atmosphere, and even better service.

We were off to a good start. The wait staff was attentive and regularly checked on us to see if we needed anything. The manager came out a few times to check on us, and the owner even stopped by to check on us and chat for a while. We were a party of 7 so I do not recall what everyone ordered, but I know everyone was very happy with what they ordered. I ordered the mussels in wine sauce and shared it with the others and everyone thought it was very good. There was also raw oysters from the North Shore that I thought were very good, but I am not a connoisseur of fine oysters like my cousin and mother. They both told me how great they thought the oysters were. I also had the grilled whole porgy and thought it was very nicely done with some blackening seasoning. All in all, was a great night with family I don't get to see often, and the staff and owner of Artie's deserve all the credit for for making it a great night. They all seemed happy to have us there, even though we stayed until past closing. I would definitely go there again when I am down on Long Island. We ordered the New England clam chowder . Lacked flavor and I'll compare this to Jordan's which is nothing even close to it . It has less class then but just not something I'd order ever again. The mussels in white wine sauce smelled really fishing themselves , the sauce at the bottom was not that bad and the fresh bread bailed it out for sure . It was a weirdly fishy smell but edible . Got the scallop tar tar . Very fresh , cold with some onions, tomatoes and cucumbers with a side of bread and blobs of sriracha sauces . We ate it , and it was fresh but they didn't season it at all and sriracha should not be what flavors it for sure . Would not order that again either We ordered the pasta special with scallops , shrimp , and lumps crab. Good fresh in tomato cream sauce . Lacked flavor once again the chef needs to kno his flavors and or have a better eye for seasoning tings!!!! We also got the seafood fra diavolo spicy . I got the wrong dish just shrimp in tomatoe sauce, wrong dish was delivered, they did take the charge if the bill which was nice . But I was looking forward to trying the scallops and the rest of the seafood and waitress did apologize and said it was her fault but such an easy thing to listen to your customers and submit on your iPad. Another mention is the owner and head sever lady seemed to be arguing behind us about the cooks in the kitchen about not being ready and prepared. Which is unprofessional o w talk in front of customers . Also one thing I forgot to put in is that when we asked for hot water at the end they brought us brown water that was most likely boiled in a coffee pot . How do you not see that the water is brown ??? Like really any pot can boil Water . I really wanted to like this place since Jordan's burned and was closed wanted to the this place but the minute Jordan's is back and open I'm heading back over there for my fresh lobsters and dining .
