Came in for a quick meal, it shares the same parking as the Hmart plaza so it's plenty. The vibe is a super casual hang out spot. We came in at an around 4:30pm so it was a bit slower. Our server was also the cashier and she was very friendly and hooked us up by adding snow cheese chicken to our combo no extra charge, so nice! The food came out relatively quickly, we order the medium combo supreme pizza and snow cheese chicken. The pizza had a crazy cheese pull and had a well balanced of toppings and a crispy crust. The popcorn chicken had a sweet taste to the batter but the cheese topping made it a perfect sweet and salty combo. I stopped by and loved the cool, open atmosphere. Perfect for big groups and hanging out with friends. I've been here a couple of times with my sisters and just realized I never posted photos or left a review! The food is overall delicious, and the staff gives great recommendations. Next time, I'm definitely trying the Cupbop and the Katsu. I saw the posters and they looked incredible. This visit, we ordered the Meat Lovers Pizza, dumplings, udon tteokbokki, and a fried chicken sandwich. The portions were HUGE!! especially the amount of meat! We even took leftovers home. Overall: my go to for chicken and pizza Restaurant is pretty large and has ample seating. I have yet to see the entire restaurant filled up, but usually a handful of the seats up front are taken. Service has always been prompt and friendly. Never have had a mix up in my order after being here multiple times. I have only had 2 of the pizzas here, but the Korean Beef Pizza is great here. Enough meat on each piece to get a piece with every bite. If you eat there, the cheese is nice and stringy, if you get it to go the cheese gets a little less stringy pretty quickly. Meat has a nice marinade that surprisingly goes really well with the cheese. To this day, I am unsure if there is actually a base sauce on the pizza, but the crest, cheese, meat, and green peppers are a perfect combination for a tasty pizza. Definitely not your traditional pizza, but they do have traditional looking pizzas. The other pizza I tried was just average. The popcorn chicken is also great. Crispy outside with pretty tender inside. Paired with their sweet spicy sauce makes it a perfect bite. Pieces vary in size, so some pieces can be a little dried. Unfortunately, the bone-in chicken wings are not as good as the popcorn chicken. I have not strayed too far from the Korean Beef Pizza and Popcorn Chicken combo meal, but other things I have tried aside from these items have just been average. They also have Asahi on draft, which is a huge plus! Great place to grab a beer, pizza and chicken, the perfect combination. read more

This place used to be Joy Chicken & Pizza. The food is pretty much the same, just slightly smaller portions. Service was ok. It was fairly busy for a Thursday night. There was only one "waitress" who is likely the boss-lady besides the "cashier," who comes out to help take orders when it got busier. The lady was definitely more polite than the guy. Since this is the closest Korean fried chicken place to where I live, and the food is good enough, we'll be coming back. read more

Never got the chance to try Joy Chicken & Pizza. Came here when it became 99. I really love Korean Fried Chicken. Haven't tried the pizza yet. Got 16 sweet and spicy wings for just over $20. The price is very low compared to the usual price for Korean Fried Chicken. What makes it so much lower than nearby bb.q chicken? Well, I got my answer. The wings are smaller than the ones at bb.q chicken, but they're not too obnoxiously small. I also like the fact that the wings are pretty heavily sauced. I don't like the fact that the wings are naked. I don't know enough to know whether KFC is supposed to be battered, but all of the other ones that I have had were battered. I also found the sauce to be a bit on the mediocre side. It wasn't that bad, but it's more a sauce that I'd expect at Buffalo Wild Wings than at a local shop. I might come back to check out the pizza. As it stands, 99 K-Chicken & Pizza provides a perfectly serviceable meal, and there's nothing wrong with that. read more

Stopped in for lunch today. Food was great. I had a lunch special, Soy Spicy wings. You get 8 wings with a cabbage salad, pickled daikon, fries and a drink. Very good value and very delicious. Downside for me was the K-pop playing too loud to ignore. Not a fan of the genre. The restaurant was clean including the bathrooms. The men's room door was propped open probably for cleaning, so I used the other one. The doors lock so I wasn't worried about embarrassing moments. Horrible customer service. First off, we called to place an order and the male cashier puts us on hold without even greeting us. Second, he has a complete attitude during the entire call. They uploaded an advertisement for their grand opening in a Korean newspaper to promote a "buy one chicken get a box of chicken wing/popcorn chicken free". The flier has a "cut here and bring" on the digital ad. The guy states that they won't honor the promotional offer unless the physical newspaper is brought in store. So they advertised in newspaper once, upload the virtual newspaper to websites to advertise, and don't honor their promotion. False marketing to say the least but horrible customer service above all.
