    Parmesan Truffle Fries

Once in a while I just really crave a burger. A juicy, cheesy, burger. My latest go-to in the Cumming area is Hopdoddy Burger Bar located in The Collection off of exit 13 on 400. Fast causal dining with tons of indoor and outdoor seating. There is also a full bar and they even offer boozy milkshakes. I'm simple and always go with "The Classic" burger but I add pepper-jack cheese and sliced avocado. It's so delicious! They have quite a few specialty burgers that always catch my eye but I'm too much of a creature of habit. The shareable fries though... they are truly the superstars of the show. My favorites include the parmesan truffle fries and the hot honey & sage sweet potato fries. The nacho fries also look incredible. They come in a large stainless steel bowl and come loaded with toppings. Truly my preferred way of getting served fries. I've heard the loaded brussels are also yummy if you're trying to be a bit healthier. Prices are a little steep for a burger and fries at first glance, but the quality and quantity you get makes it feel fair.

I gave this place a second chance, & i must say the Costumer service & the quality of the burger remained consistent. Although this is a burger restaurant the costumer service has always been top tier, warming friendly & welcoming!! I ordered the standard menu option but made a few changes towards my liking. I rate this place 10/10! The Waygu burger was packed with flavor. This is def my go to burger spot! They have milkshakes (with the option of spiked), beers, & cocktails! Hoping to see Hopdoddy expand within ATL soon!!!

Overall it's a good place. It's definitely on the pricey side. We got the shareable Buffalo fries and the sauce on them was really good. I got the Thunderbird and that was pretty good. Every bite was enjoyable. My husband got a regular cheeseburger and that was pretty small in our opinion. It's a casual environment with a bar located at the front of the restaurant. You order in the back and they'll tell you which table to sit at and bring you your food. I would definitely come back.

You can't go wrong here. They have great ingredients for all diets and great staff! Milkshakes and cocktails are great too. Decor and ambiance are great for a bar restaurant.

We were shopping and decided to try Hobdaddy tonight. We ordered the buffalo chicken tenders, thunderbird chicken sandwich and truffle fries. I thought it was strange the fries came out before your meal but they were good. I thought my buffalo tenders were ok but wouldn't order them again. I didn't love the breading but the ranch was good. My husband liked his thunderbird chicken sandwich.

Wow! Haven't had a burger this good in a long time! I saw an ad for Hopdoddy while watching a random YouTube series. So my husband and o decided to give it a try after our Burger 21 disappointment. Well Hopdoddy delivered! The Cadillac is delicious and cooked perfectly! We didn't even have to ask for them to not over cook it! The sweet potato fries and truffle Brussels are also amazing! We will definitely be back with family and friends! Oh and great drinks too! My family ordered takeout from this location for dinner on a Monday night. The pickup process went pretty smoothly and our order was ready within 20 minutes from when we placed it. We did have to wait on our milkshakes at the bar, as they had not started on those until after our food was ready. After picking up our order, we immediately noticed the whole car smelled like old, burnt fryer grease. Sure enough, when we got home we noticed our chicken tenders were super dark, dry, and overdone. This was not pleasant, especially considering the price point. I had to pick through them to find edible portions for our kids. I enjoyed the Nashville hot chicken sandwich, as the spice level was on point and it was crispy, but the chicken also had a slight old fryer oil taste. My husband enjoyed his Llano Poblano burger as well. Our favorite part of the meal was the hot honey sage brussel sprouts, which we shared. The portion sizes of the shareable sides were adequate.

I hate that Hopdoddy's has such bad ratings here because the food is actually really good - it's the service that brings the restaurant down. When we went, there was only one "adult" - the rest of the staff were clearly young. They tried their best but it kind of shows that they don't really know what they're doing. We ordered a boozy shake and they didn't even start making it until after our food came out and after we reminded someone that we had ordered it. Mind you, it wasn't as if they were slammed and it slipped through the cracks. I'd understand that. It was dead, there were maybe three other tables in the whole place. On to the food itself. You have to try their Primetime burger. It's top 5 burgers I've had from a restaurant. Juicy, meaty, savory, delicious. The A1 onions are right up my alley because I find caramelized onions too sweet most of the time. The ratio of bun to bread was on point. Strawberry boozy shake is enough for at least 2, if not 3 people. It's dangerous because you can't taste the liquor but I promise you it's in there. I'd give this a shot if you're willing to look past their service. I hope they'll improve it soon and tighten up on their training because the food is so good.

Located in The Collection at the old Grub Burger spot. Food: 4 of 5. My burger was okay. The bun wasn't fresh and was a little bit crumbly, the lettuce tasted like it had been sitting out for a few days. My husband got the Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich. He said 3 of 5. Didn't like the toppings and wasn't really hot. Fries were good. Atmosphere: great seating, good bar area, nice outside seating as well. Parking: plenty of parking in the shopping center lot. Price: average price for portion size and quality.

My family heard about this "new" place and had to try it. This review is for an online order and pickup. - Receipt on bag at pickup and receipt I have in my phone don't match up. We ended up missing 2 milkshakes. - My wife's burger was a meat patty and bread. Nothing else. - Brussel sprouts were in a bag of grease and seemed 5 seconds away from being burnt. - Burgers were charred on outside and pink on the inside. None of us requested a rare burger - Called into the store and was given the "we are still new" speech. Missing items, greasy food and undercooked meat cannot be excused at this price point. - Fries were ok, I guess. My 19 month old only ate a few fries which sucks because he typically loves fries. Pretty bad first experience, prices don't match up to the quality.

Burger was over cooked, had to send back but again over cooked! It's a burger joint and disappoints. The fries were loaded with coarse salt, instant heart attack. Really wanted everything to be great but cannot recommend, I will say the management their are extremely nice and tried to be helpful,... that was appreciated.

Hopdoddy is a 10/10! The burgers are some of the best I've had, and honestly the food overall is great. The fries are AMAZING. The establishment is arranged in a fast-casual layout, however there is attentive bar service and the occasional check in from one of the staff.

This was my first visit to Hopdoddy since they were Grub Burger. My son and I decided to give the new menu a try. We got in line to make our to go order and I must admit the new menu is pretty cool. I had the Llano Poblano and the son had the Bacon Jam Double. We both ordered shakes and I got the Brussels. Let's begin with the service. The staff was super nice and the expediter was on point! There are a few items that were lacking: * We were looking for to go sauces but no to go containers * Our milkshakes were great but no lids to go on them and the lid we received was too big for the container which flew off along with my straw the moment I got outside and the wind blew it off. * The old Grub app should have had the option of moving rewards to the new platform or warning the users they needed use them before the change. The poblano burger was good but needed a condiment to help. I'm glad I had access to Mayo but a mild Southwest sauce would have helped. The son loved the bacon jam burger and after a couple of bites, wished he had asked it the burger came as a single. He said the texture from the jam was a little bit different for him but wants to try it again. The Brussels were okay and you have your choice of style preparations. All in all, a solid visit and I do want to try more on the menu with the wife as well.

Staff is so helpful, we enjoyed the unique menu & shared the fries!

We sat upstairs with a group of ladies playing mah jong which was cool to see. The host Gabby was nice, after greeting us we were seated in a booth and began looking at the menu. Our server was Taylor, who was friendly, helpful, and really good at her job. Never needed anything bc she was great! I started with one of their blackberry ciders, my brother got a sour. For an app we ordered a giant pretzel and it was delicious. Whole grain mustard and gooey cheese were served on the side. Hard not to want to eat more than one. For entrees I went with a Reuben with a side of tater tots. The Reuben was tasty, they shred the corned beef up so it's easier to eat, and you get consistent bites every time. Their 1000 island dressing is KILLER. It's definitely homemade and I ordered a side for my tots. Nephew got the salmon BLT with sweet potato fries, and my brother got the Philly cheesesteak with tots as well. Once he tried my suggestion of dipping in the dressing, he got a side as well. The GM Andrew came by and checked on us. Service level is great here, made us feel welcome and happy we were in here. Since I'm technically on the clock I had to head out after two ciders. I could see myself being here for hours, if I'm not careful. Support small owned businesses! Thanks to the team and especially Taylor for a great lunch today/

The old-fashioned had regular ice not the large square or ball ice like most old-fashioned. We did send the fish & chips back because the fish wasn't crispy. It was soggy & fishy. We did enjoy the house chips and atmosphere. We would give them another try.

Unfortunately, the service has consistently been incredibly SLOW, and this last visit was unacceptable. The restaurant wasn't busy at all--we were the first guests to arrive. In fact, I purposely planned it that way because I know the service is usually slow. We timed everything because it was so noticeable. It took about 5 minutes before anyone acknowledged us. Then another 5-10 minutes just to receive our drinks. Our server took our order and then completely disappeared. About 30 minutes later, she brought our sandwiches. She asked if we needed anything else, and then disappeared again. We finished eating in about 15-20 minutes, and after that, we waited another 40-45 minutes before she came back. From the moment she dropped off our food until we finally saw her again, it had been about 45-50 minutes. During that entire time, she never checked on us once. We had planned to order dessert, but by the time she returned, we couldn't wait any longer. We had to ask for a to-go box and the check because we were already running late. Looking around the restaurant, we weren't the only frustrated customers. One gentleman nearby was visibly upset as well. For three sandwiches, our meal took almost two hours. That's just crazy. It's simply not reasonable. It's disappointing because the food is excellent, but the service has become such a recurring issue that it's making us question whether we'll come back. A restaurant this small should be be able to provide a much better dining experience. I honestly can't think of a good explanation unless the server was also hosting, cooking, preparing to-go orders, or doing multiple jobs at once. I don't know what was happening behind the scenes, but something clearly isn't working, and they need to figure it out. The food deserves better service than this. My only advice is you're gonna go and have lunch there make sure you have at least a two to three hours

It was cooked properly and had good flavor. The lettuce leaf under it was different; I think I could have done without. The fish came with my choice of two sides and I picked the green beans and the cornbread stuffing. Both were quite salty. The green beans were not very green and overcooked. There were two elbow macaroni mixed in. The cornbread was mushy and covered in gravy. It tasted fine, I just would have preferred more texture. Both beers were very good. I had a sour to start that was like a very tart pink lemonade. The pink color came from blueberries but I'm not sure I detected any blueberry flavor. My second beer was That Coconut Porter and it was mellow and smooth with good coconut flavor and nice dark color. There was lots of street parking and many shops and restaurants in the area. A band began playing in the taproom next to the restaurant at some time. Also a large outdoor space that was full of kids running around playing as I was going home. Looked like a fun place for everyone.
