That said, I keep coming back because the food is consistently good and the prices are very reasonable for this area and era where a basic burger somehow costs $17. The burgers are smash-style, juicy, and actually flavorful. Great cheese options too. The blue cheese and pimento are standouts and not afterthoughts, which I appreciate. Can't go wrong with any of the burger options. The real hit for me is the Nashville hot chicken sandwich. The thinly sliced celery on it is so refreshing and perfectly cut. Ok, the burger and fries were great. That's not why I'm giving a 1 star review. After a couple minutes sitting in a booth waiting on my food, I noticed what looked like a dog had thrown up on the floor about 6-feet away from me. So so happy to have Craft Burger in the neighborhood! I had been to the Old Milton location once, but never wanted to deal with traffic and parking to go again. This location makes it the closest restaurant to my house! We stopped in for dinner on a Thursday night. It was empty when we arrived, but people began coming in after. There was also a lot of takeout business happening. We loved our food. It took a while for the food to come out, but it was worth it. Everything was fresh and hot. This is my first time at this location but I've been too another one and it didn't disappoint. These smash burgers feel so satisfying yet not as great or heavy as other burgers to me. We got the kpop and green mile burgers with a side of fries. The burgers were around $10-11 and came out within 5 minutes. We really loved the kpop. It's sweet with the bulgogi sauce but the more mayo like sauce blend really well with the meat. The green mile was good if you like more veggies but I preferred the kpop burger over it. Fries are delish and come with a spicy topping that you can add, which is really tasty. Lots of seating and outdoor seating as well. We've driven by many times since they opened and are close enough to where we live that we could almost walk there. If you live in the area you'll now have to decide between the three. Three you ask? Village Burger, Five Guys and now Craft Burger as I put them all in the same category. Go in and give them a try as we just did. Everything is clean, self serve stations are organized, neat and kept stocked, lighting is just right, inviting for adults and those with kids equally as well. We had the Southern Grower and Classic burgers, sharing a single order of CB Loaded Fries. The burgers come well done which is not how we like ours, but we get it. The patties are 1/3 lb. but with the generous toppings they come with, that's good enough. The CB Loaded Fries were enough for two . . . comes topped with sour cream, avocado, red onions, melted cheese and a sauce. We sprinkled some spice powder available at the self serve counter on them making them nothing less than delicious. Service was prompt, food fresh and the atmosphere comfortably casual. I really enjoyed this place! I ordered a grilled chicken lettuce wrap with sweet potatoe fries. The grilled chicken was herbed so I'm not a big fan that but the sauce and the fried made up for it. We've been waiting for this location to open for weeks after driving by many times. I'm a regular at the Old Milton location. This place is huge, airy and spacious. Food tasted the same, good quality and as usual amazing. I would definitely recommend this place. Try out all their burgers, KPop or PB Burgers. The place was clean, the people were friendly and helpful, there was a large choice on the menu, service was quick so why not a 4 or 5 star? The burger patties are flat like a pancake. It seems to be a new fad of having crispy flat hamburger patties is taking over. I personally think when you flatten them out you lose the flavor, that a single thick juicy burger is the way to go which is not what they serve here. You need a couple of patties just to get a bit of burger flavor. The fries ... they were hot but were probably frozen and not fresh like five guys. It's not a bad place, it's just not the style I prefer. For the record, we had the BL"A"T, and a Busy Bees both with fries and an order of wings.
