The first thing i do before eating is to wash my hands so i went in to the men's bathroom and turned the water on but no soap is to be found of any kind. I looked around to see if i missed it somehow but all i saw was a bracket on the wall for the soap dispenser and nothing else. So i am curious, all the guys that work at the kitchen are they even washing their hands everytime they use the mensroom? Yeah with water?! But no soap. Is management aware of this? This is very unsanitary and i did not even see a sign at the door that said "employee must wash hands before returning to work". I will not be returning to this store. Maybe the Department of Sanitation should pay a visit to your store and give you a citation. read more

OMG! Do you remember the first time you ever tried something fabulous? How mind-opening it was? Where you lost your words? And thoughts fled? When was the last time that happened when you had a burger? This was it for me. Like the first best of anything, after all these years. And perfect onion rings, as if someone actually cares about them! I ordered the burger medium-rare on a brioche. It was done to perfection. The burger has now set the standard for flavor for me, better than bison burger. The brioche was just toasty enough to hold a crunch and very slightly sweet to complement the salt in the beef. The grilled mushrooms were FRESH! I was skeptical that the burgers were as good as reviewers say. I almost never get them at restaurants any more because they're usually so tasteless and the buns awful. But here! Just --Wow. I love onion rings and keep trying them and keep being disappointed. Not this time! Tasty, thin crispy batter with integrity, hugging onions that take pride in themselves, fresh grilled and slightly caramelized. This was the embodiment of the Socratic archetype of burgers and onion rings. The staff were cheerful and professional and calm despite the crowd. Their eyes smiled. What a pleasant atmosphere! All the tables seemed to be taken but all you have to do is ask for seats not taken, as at a French cafè. Parking is indeed a challenge but, echoing others, totally worth any wait. If I could give zero stars I would. The experience was horrible. First we ordered for a pick up through grubhub and the order was cancelled because the tablet they received the order through froze. I very specifically asked the cashier if I needed to give them my order again and was told they did not loose it and my order would be ready in about 10-15 minutes. When I came back in to to check the status, they told me my order was lost. I very patiently place my order again and was put at the end of the line. What should have been a 15 minute pick up turned into almost a one hour wait. The cashier also charged me for two of the same sides for the same burger. The staff was apologetic, however in this case don't believe an apology makes up for the series of mistakes. They will not get our business again. read more

Came with friend for lunch. First time here. We ordered to go since we knew we wouldn't eat it all. Sat 15 minutes watching customer after customer after us order and be served. I tried to ask the lady walking the dining room serving the food about how to get our to go orders but she said she does not speak English. I had to get back in the long line and speak to cashier , young boy , who was very nice, and another lady . Informed them that we had been waiting a long time for our to go orders. They said they would call our names. I had watched one of the cooks place the food on a shelf awhile before I went up. They did bring it to us. My food was lukewarm. I originally heard about this place in a FB Foodie group and then later through a friend. My husband were down that way and decided to stop by for lunch ... and we are so glad we did! Lots of options on the menu for apps, fries, onion rings and tots. Flat top grilled big burgers and toppings. My burger came out a little extra crusty verging on burnt but it was super juicy. The hot dogs are great and lots of free toppings. The fries are seasoned with a great dusting and made them taste very good. Atmosphere is cozy and they throwback to some of the Virginia heritage with the civil war era photos on the beach wall. So I have been here two times, with my last time coming here with my family. Upon looking at the menu, I didn't even realize the first time that you have the option of choosing different types of breads like Brioche, Texas Toast, and even Gluten Free. As for the burgers themselves, they are really good. This time I did get a fried chicken sandwich. It was also very good. Cooked just right, juicy, tender, and flavorful. I had it on Brioche bread and that just took up another notch. My wife had the breakfast burger which she loved and my kids had hot dogs and hamburgers. Overall the food is really good, but I think the customer service is what stand out above most of all. This is definitely going to be our go to spot when we are in Chantilly for years to come. We walk in and the delicious smell of burgers made me super excited to sit down and eat. We order at the front and go take a seat in the back end. The time for wait was really good considering it was the peak of lunch(1:00-1:30) which made it kind of crowded. After about 10 minutes our food had come. We all take a bite of our food and were in awe. The burgers were so juicy and cooked perfectly. The cheese was nice and melty, and my hotdog was perfect. They sell burgers, made to order with your choice of multiple toppings or get one of their specialty burgers.
