    The Family Picnic (Serves 2-3)

We went here for a bottomless mimosa service for one of my good friends:) the food was absolutely delicious and filling. We ordered this family style platter of comfort food; Mac n cheese, fried chicken, biscuits and gravy. The one disappointment was the fact that we paid for bottomless mimosas and were checked in on maybe 3 times. It wasn't too busy either.

Baby Spinach Salad with grilled chicken

A group of 4 came in around 130 pm, and there was no wait. There were two tables for us to choose from. You seat yourself, and the waiter comes to you. I enjoyed the baby spinach salad with added grilled chicken. It was a whole bowl with a lot of baby spinach and goat cheese. The grilled chicken was well seasoned and delicious. I forgot to ask for my dressing on the side, and thankfully, it wasn't overwhelming. Another person ordered the Abyss burger. I was pleasantly surprised by how spicy it was. I only ate the patty and could taste the heat. I imagine the entire burger was even spicier. TVs covered the walls to watch the game. The service was attentive, good was good, and atmosphere was cozy. I would come back again to try their burgers!

Quality sports bar/restaurant located on the Southport Corridor. It's a good place to watch whichever big sports game is on, plus get some good food, a step above usual sports bar food I'd say. I went twice last month, for some MLB playoffs and NFL games. I got the blackened chicken sandwich and hot Italian sandwiches, both good. It's got a pretty good craft beer list, or plenty other non beer options, or just $5 for domestics. There's a decent amount of space, it's a narrow seating design, instead of being wide and open, but there's still enough tables and TVs spread throughout to fit everyone. They sometimes do trivia in the back section, on Tuesdays I believe. It's a good place to stop at before/after Cubs games or shows at the Music Box. I'd definitely go back again.

Super solid sports bar with lots of tables both indoors and a few outdoors, good food and lots of beer choices. Service has always been good and the place is accommodating to dogs outside and children inside. Salad with chicken is great, cheese curds are really good and wings are just Ok. Good choice.

Nice place on Southport to stop for a cold brew and food. Came here late afternoon on a Friday. They have daily specials. Friday: $9 Flatbreads and $7 bombs. This place has an expansive draft beer selection. I believe over 80 different draft beers. I was impressed with the vast amount of Ciders and Sour Beers. For food: BBQ chicken Flatbread. So good reminder me of Kona Flatbread. The Flatbread came out piping hot. The bbq sauce was sweet and savory. The onions paired well with the cheese and chicken. Delicious. We also grabbed tater tots for $5. Plenty of food to share between two people. Service here was good. Hailey was out bartender and such a sweetie. She was really good about informing us about different beers and also about Monday night $4 draft beer night. We enjoyed our time here. Tip: Dog friendly patio. Nachos looked super huge and good.

    Brilliant SHEET NACHOS

We stopped by after the Southport art festival. Good list of drinks and beers to choose from - I got an aperol spritz which was refreshing on this nice day. We also ordered the sheet nachos with chicken. This dish was brilliant! All nacho chips were spread out so that the toppings were distributed perfectly throughout rather than having baked chips on the bottom! We devoured this appetizer between the 3 of us. Service was on the slower side, but we were in no rush.

The Butcher's Tap has great service, an amazing patio, and good drinks and food. While in the area, my partner and I searched for a place with a covered patio for drinks because it was raining -- and we were happy when we stumbled upon the outside dining area at The Butcher's Tap. The wooden tables, string lights, and TVs created an approachable, local vibe. We were seated right away by the hostess who wore a mask and gloves. She left and came back quickly with menus and gave us time to look it over before taking our order. I can't stress enough how friendly she was and how it made our experience even better. I love a cocktail and my partner loves dark porters so we ordered the watermelon cocktail, the gram cracker nitro, and a side of tater tots to snack on. The food and drinks came out quickly and at the same time -- all was good, but I definitely recommend this place for beer lovers above all. The beer list is extensive and innovative. If the weather is gloomy and you prefer dining outdoors during the pandemic, I recommend checking this place out!

When are you going to stop hogging the sidewalk in front of your business?

This is an Ohio State bar. That means it can do whatever it wants.

Is the bottomless mimosas for brunch all weekend or just on Sunday?

Hi Jess! We do bottomless brunches all year round on both Saturdays and Sundays except for during OSU games and other large sporting events. Cheers!

The espresso martini was good, they have cocktail and both non-local and local beer options. The food looked really good but we didn't get any when we went. There are TVs all over. The patio is a great place to sit in the nice weather, and a grassy area to hang out, have kids play, or bring your dog(s). The bathroom was super cool, the back wall was a whole row of windows looking over the street and all the bars. Had a fun Nashville vibe!

The food comes out faster than a CTA bus not stopping for you, and it absolutely slaps. The wings are crispy enough to make a grown Chicagoan emotional, if you love great food and haven't stopped by, then you are missing out. Every TV has a game on, every beer is ice cold, and the vibes are aggressively Chicago -- loud, friendly, slightly unhinged, but in a "we're all in this together" way. You'll hear someone yelling at the refs, someone else arguing about the Cubs bullpen, and somehow it all feels like home. Output is the kind of place where you say "just one drink" and then suddenly it's three hours later, you've made five new friends, and you're ordering another round of wings because "it'd be rude not to." If you're near Wrigley and choose to eat somewhere else, that's on you. Output understood the assignment. For me, it's all about the sauces and the options are great and I can't wait to try more. All this said, I get it's a bar in Wrigley, but the front room is super small and the back room is definitely not nice; somewhere between dirty and just not-cared-for (chairs and tables wobbled, dirty floor, etc.) They do delivery, I'll probably just get wings delivered from Output going forward.

The location is great and easy to get to, which is one of the reasons we decided to stop in. The atmosphere was fun, and the restaurant was very quiet that evening. Since it wasn't busy, we expected quick service and were looking forward to relaxing for a bit. Unfortunately, that's where our experience fell short. We were seated right away but then waited about 15 to 20 minutes without ever being greeted by a server. Multiple servers and bussers walked past our table several times, yet no one acknowledged us or even let us know someone would be with us shortly. It honestly felt like our table had been forgotten. Because we were never able to place an order, I can't comment on the food or drinks. We ended up leaving before anyone came to our table. The wait time itself wasn't the issue. We were seated immediately. The problem was waiting 15 to 20 minutes after being seated without receiving any service, especially at a nearly empty restaurant. As for value, it's hard to judge since we never had the opportunity to order anything. However, spending nearly 20 minutes waiting for someone to acknowledge us made the experience feel like a waste of time. It's unfortunate because the atmosphere and location were great, but the lack of service completely overshadowed the rest of the experience. I hope this was just an off night, but based on this visit, I can't recommend it.
