I came here for breakfast with my family during our visit to Arkansas. I appreciated the trendy vibe this place offered. Because we joined the waitlist on yelp ahead of time, we only had to wait about 10 minutes once we arrived at the restaurant. Normally without yelp check-in, the wait would be up to an hour! I ordered the goat cheese egg white omelet which had a ton of veggies in it. I was pretty pleased with it. It wasn't super flavorful, but a little Tabasco sauce solved that problem. My husband tried their crab benedict and I had a bite - it was amazing! The service here was exceptional. Our waitress was so friendly and gave prompt service. My family and I came here for a late brunch on a Monday at 1pm! It was mostly empty and we were seated right away. The interior has a farmhouse style theme and feels very spacious. The service was ok, I would've expected it to be better for how few people they had at this time of day. Just as I started to think we had waited a noticeable amount of time for our food, it finally came out. They have an extensive menu but we mostly went for the savory dishes instead of the sweet ones! Everyone in my group loved their food, especially the biscuits that come with basically every entree. They have several spreads to choose from, I hear they are all great. I got the whipped honey butter and loved it! For my entree, I went with the Daylight Skillet. The combination of flavors was so good together, I have never had brisket in a breakfast dish but am so glad I tried it. The menu said it comes with Cajun hollandaise but it tasted like regular hollandaise to me, it might've been drowned out by the flavors of the brisket and peppers. Serving sizes were appropriate, prices were pretty standard. We had to wait a while again for our bill at the end, I could see how service could be poor here when people come at peak times. We came here on a Sunday around 10:00 AM and they were very busy! We didn't have a long wait for the two of us which was nice. The only wait was really waiting to order after we sat down. We know they were busy, so nothing we were upset about. In fact, the manager was serving our table and asked that we have patience with him. What we ordered: 1. Strawberry Cheesecake Pancakes - these were sweet, but delicious. I didn't get cheesecake vibes, but I still really enjoyed these. 2. Chicken and Waffles - good and flavorful, loved the bacon jam on top. 3. Biscuits and Gravy - loved these! The gravy was nice and peppery and the biscuits were top notch. Some of the best I've had, but I would have preferred chunky sausage in the gravy. Really enjoyed our experience here. I wish I could tell you the food was good, but I don't know. The server entered the wrong meal and had to try to fix it. The kitchen was so busy that the rest of my party had finished before my food arrived, so we paid the bill and left without breakfast. The coffee remained bitter even when I added sugar and creamer. Eggs were undercooked, potatoes were undercooked, the chicken was poorly seasoned, etc. Even the cinnamon roll was sort of bland. I was beginning to think they had slipped and falling into the "yeah, it's good/fine but not great" category. THEN, I went back yesterday. Folks, they have stepped it back up! Seriously. It was my bday and I wanted chicken & waffles, BB-style. Yo.......these were the best C&W I have ever had. Perfect crunch. Good heat. Sweeeeeet! I also got the cinnamon roll, and BB is back, baby!!!! So fluffy, pillowy, and yet a perfect slight-crisp on the outside of the roll. And the glaze......perfection, people! Perfection. My wife got the comeback shrimp sandwich. Also, very good. Perfect biscuits, well-cooked shrimp, and a come-back sauce that has you dancing in your seat. yum! So, BB is back on the radar for me and should be for you. Newer menu was released last week with more scrumptious things to choose from. And, I found out, a new kitchen staff that is committed to maintain the high standards of quality food. Came here with my family for Christmas Eve brunch before our little hike. Our waitress was super nice, out going, helpful, and attentive to us. Food came out pretty quickly but I wasn't overly impressed with my omelette. They gave me a tiny bit of avocado...I was expecting a little more and you are charged extra for more jelly. Order came out incorrect; ordered an omelet, received a scramble. The biscuit was good, but the sausage gravy was cold and had an "off" taste to it. You could actually stand a spoon straight up in it. The food I did receive tasted fair; but it was pretty greasy, and other than the biscuit itself, wasn't as nearly as good as other nearby competitors such as Cracker Barrel (much, much better!) and IHOP (much better). I might come back again for just the biscuits if that's all I want, but otherwise I would just drive another 2-3 minutes up the road to Cracker Barrel. The waitress was pleasant enough, but I do wish she would have gotten my order correct and caught it once it was apparent that it was not what I ordered. The Buttered Biscuit is a place with potential, but they have some growing to do in my opinion. The restaurant's vibe is clean and modern. Clean restrooms are always a plus and they succeeded there. The menu is good. A large, one page with variety but not so much that you feel overwhelmed. Unfortunately I chose a biscuit sandwich. It sounded good, and it looked good when it came out, but the moment I picked it up I realized it was not practical. It was too big to get your mouth around, and biscuits do not hold together well so all the bread holding this sandwich together fell apart like trying to pick up a jigsaw puzzle. My breakfast ended up being me trying to eat the pieces of a sandwich with a fork. It all tasted good, but I felt tricked and wished I had got the avocado toast instead. Also the aioli looks and tastes like mayo. I wasn't fond of the coffee either :/ Honestly a 3 star experience, but I feel like the place is better for others. read more

We were in from South Florida for Thanksgiving staying in Bentonville and needed some time alone to get out, shop and have breakfast. We had heard about this place but we had to go to Springdale first so we found this location. Just an absolutely lovely place and our waitress was fantastic! We were so hungry so we ordered pancakes, biscuits with sausage and gravy which came with eggs and home fries and the biscuit beignets with raspberry sauce. The pancakes were a bit flat, crispy on the bottom (??), mediocre coffee and the rest of the food (with the exception of the beignets) was cool. I hate to complain. Just hate it and so does my boyfriend so when the waitress checked in, we're like, it's fine... Maybe the issue was because we got there at 10:30 in the morning? Other than the food being cold the place really is beautiful and immaculately kept so during this Covid-19 thing I felt very safe. This was our first time at the Springdale location, and I was a little disappointed. I ordered the Countryman, which was overly salty and I could not eat much of it. My mom ordered the Coler -- waffle, two eggs, and a protein. The scrambled eggs she received tasted as if they had been sitting out for way too long. My boyfriend ordered the Double Biscuits and Gravy and said it did not taste as good as when he had it at the Bentonville location off of Airport. My brother ordered The Chicken and Waffles and they were delicious! Morale of this review, Chicken and Waffles is probably your best bet! read more

WoW! I have a very weird anti inflammatory no refined sugar diet and this wonderful cafe met my every crazy demand. Sparklz was so great making 4 trips to the kitchen and being super happy to do it. I was one of those nightmare customers. Never did that before and will be back here for my gluten free sugar free breakfast and lunch. The BEST part was the food. I hadn't had a biscuit in over 5 years. This was the best biscuit I ever had. Who knew they were better without gluten. They also have honey butter which was light and delightful. To top off my meal I had the natural chicken sausage which was savory and perfect. My daughter had the Corned beef hash plate. She could only eat of a third of it. Mixed Experience. We came here on Saturday around 11:30 and probably had one of the best meals. The biscuits with apple cinnamon butter, the pumpkin cold foam latte, biscuits and gravy. The service was exceptional. We loved it so much that before we left town we decided to return Sunday also around 11:30. Completely different. The biscuits were hard and cold. The latte was still delicious. The service was extremely slow. We sat for over 30 minutes after our meal finished to get the check. I just moved from San Francisco and I was so blessed with MANY gluten free breakfast locations in that area. I came to NWA and have really struggled to find any *good* gluten free breakfast spots. A friend told me this location has GF options and I was SO excited when I saw the store's grand opening! I mean wow... the buttered biscuit has changed my view of the food scene in NWA. They can make the majority of their items gluten free. The pricing is way more affordable than I thought it would be for a very on-trend restaurant. Here was my rundown... Lila lemon-cakes (GF version)- Literally to die for. It is like a citrus-sweet flavor explosion in your mouth. Biscuit Beignets (GF version)- The absolute perfect way to start a brunch date! Me and my husband shared these and they were light, fluffy and the sauce that came with was so fresh and flavorful. The Buttered Biscuit Cinnamon Roll (GF version)- Literally a slice of sweet heaven in my mouth. If you are GF... and you have searched for a good cinnamon roll... this.is.you.place! Just get it and thank me later ;). My son got the Award winning sweet cream waffle- He claims it is the best waffle he has ever hard. And the kid is a tough critic. Shrimp & Grits- I got it with over-medium eggs and it was a nice addition to what I would order for a late breakfast or early lunch. My husband got the Farmer's Son Omlette- I'm sure you could get it GF but he got it as-is with omelette smothered in sausage gravy. It was seriously HUGE and amazing. He took it home and had the rest for dinner. One of my kids got the biscuits and gravy and loved it. She said she loved the potatoes on the side the best. I tried one... and it was seriously perfect cooked. They also have very affordable kids options. I was shocked that they were so cheap and came with a drink.
