Buttersburg Inn is a great small town restaurant. The food is good and the staff is friendly. Every once in a while the owners will make their rounds from table to table to chat with the regulars and ask how their meal is. Once you get to know the waitresses, it isn't uncommon to chat with them whenever they come to check on your table. Aside from typical burgers, sandwiches, and chicken many Italian and classic country dishes are offered, as well as different cakes and pies for dessert. In my opinion, Buttersburg has some of the tastiest fried chicken of any restaurant in the area. All in all, the Buttersburg Inn offers a quality, affordable family dining experience. read more

Also, it pays to ask for more detailed info: I don't like horseradish and it turns out the tiger sauce on the Matty Melt is made with that. Our person (I never caught their name, dangit!) offered to customize by having it made with plain mayo. Sold! So, C ordered the cheesesteak sub, E chose the turkey bacon ranch panini, and I did get the Matty Melt, sans horseradish. We each cut our sammie in half, then a half in half again, then shared all around. For those of you who don't want to math, we each had 1/4 of the other two flavors, plus 1/2 of our own and it was a delightful sampler! All of the ingredients were so fresh and so flavorful. The lettuce on them was not wilted like shredded lettuce can get so easily. Tomato bursting with flavor, crispy bacon, and the steak! wow!
