The restaurant itself is very weird. On the outside it says select pizza but inside it's all the cage so I'm not sure where what of anything comes into play. The staff was nice and helpful though, got us seated, and checked in on us. For me personally they over did it with the arugula on the pizza. I felt like I spent more time picking arugula off than eating the pizza. Even 50% of the arugula would've been enough. I will say this, the flatbread itself was cooked amazingly, nice and soft, foldable but durable and the honey and pepperoni complimented well here. My other knock was whatever was on the top of the drink itself was very gross, super sour and acidic, completely caught me off guard.

The Cage had a lively brunch crowd on a Saturday, and there were a few open bar seats available. The bartenders were both prompt and polite, refilling water and drinks frequently. I ordered the Burrata Avocado toast, which was quite good. It was a hearty portion of both avocado and burrata, and the sourdough was delicious. The potatoes seemed a little stale to me, but they had good flavor. Overall, I would come here more for the atmosphere and drinks than the food, but I would also try another meal next time around.

My wife brought some food home from this restaurant, she said that I "would like it". I tried some sort so called Korean taco which was thick cut filet topped with kimchi...it was a leftover and slightly cool so it was served as designed. But, nothing about it said Korean to me, even the kimchi was missing the flavor I would expect. I figured this would be the last I heard of the The Cage. I was wrong, for several weeks my wife kept trying to get me to go there. Until one Friday I finally gave in. Now first, she kept referring to it as Select Pizza but I think the restaurant you dine in is called The Cage. I'm not 100% sure but the pictures here match what I saw. "Select Pizza" didn't exactly inspire a culinary hot spot but then again we are in the burbs... We went in and it was apparently happy hour. I personally avoid happy hour any chance I get, it's like Black Friday for a restaurant. Without getting into the details, I would much rather pay full price to ensure my server isn't being ran all over, that I don't have people hanging over me waiting for my seat and the staff isn't so tired. That was not the case here, while the bar was full, there were many open tables in the dining room (which apparently serve their happy hour specials) and the bar. As we always do, we grabbed a seat at a bar table. The menu is big and it can be confusing, even after my meal I still struggle to understand what cuisine they're going for. At first you think it's Asian and then maybe Italian and then some of the obligatory American dishes. I guess this is a positive if you have a group that has multiple tastes...who knows. We started with the Chicken Yakitori, Buffalo Shrimp, Tuna Poke Tartar and Truffle Fries. The dishes come out as ready (which I always appreciate). First out was the Yakitori, perfectly squared off and seared chicken with a peanut sauce and a great salad. This dish was very good and seasoned well, the only thing that didn't work were the dried cranberries (again, back to a menu that doesn't quite make sense). Other than that it was very good. Onto the Tuna Poke Tartar, served as pictured (which I forgot to mention they have pictures of most menu items on the menu). Tuna poke pressed into a ring mold topped with avocado. The house-made tortilla chips were great, it had a good balance of acid, fat and salt. A win (although their obligatory strange addition was a pickled carrot stuffed into the avocado). The Buffalo Shrimp were decent, fried shrimp over lettuce cups with blue cheese crumbles topped with buffalo sauce. Nothing more than expected, the shrimp were fried perfectly. The Truffle Fries were the worst dish (not bad just not up to the level of the others). The fries were doused in grated parm but they lacked any type of salt. the truffle flavor seemed to come from the truffle aioli more than the oil they were supposed to have been tossed in. I should add that all of these appetizers were on the happy hour menu if that's your thing. Now, we were full but my wife wanted to try the Wise Guy pizza. The pizzas are slightly rectangular more like you would expect a flat bread. This one was topped with a truffle cream, provolone, prosciutto, arugula, balsamic dressing, parm flakes and truffle oil. This too was surprising, the dough was perfectly cooked and had flavor (could they be making dough and letting it ferment to help with flavor and digestion like a real pizza shop?). The toppings all worked well together, the balsamic dressing cut through the cream sauce, the saltiness of the prosciutto was balanced well and the arugula added a nice pepper note. A really good pizza that I would certainly return for. All in all a surprise and a humbling experience for me, since I am typically of the mindset that great restaurants don't exist in this area. Now, in the big scheme of things they're not great, but for Bucks County suburbs, they are up there. I will go back and while I mentioned their menu was large, this will give me more items to try next time.

I recently tried brunch at the Cage and had a really nice experience. We had a 10am reservation, and the restaurant was not very busy that early. The decor inside was trendy and fun. I had the red velvet pancakes for my meal, and my friend had the croque madam. They were both generous portions and very good. A helpful tip: When I went to make a reservation online, it said it was for Select Pizza Grill, since this location is 2 restaurants in one. The signage outside also says Select Pizza Grill, so that's something to be aware of when you're arriving.

I've been here once before and I remember liking it, but this time I liked it even more. And I'd like to thank the tiramisu for that. Omg. It was so good. It was quite busy when we arrived, which wasn't surprising since it's a Friday. I was originally told a 40 minute wait but luck was on our side because that 40 minute wait was actually only 10 minutes. We started off with some drinks which were both really good. And quite strong. And our pizzas were just as tasty. I ordered the hot honey pepperoni pizza and I'm already waiting for when I get hungry again to snack on my leftovers. lol. We ended the night with these adorable espresso martinis!! How did they even do that??! I love it. And the Pièce de résistance. Thee Triamisu. I know what I'm dreaming about tonight, lads.

This is the bowl of soup I got, with one tiny shrimp smaller than my fingernail.

Food was ok but not great. My wife said salmon was ok but wouldn't order again. My pizza was salty and oily - way too much. It would have made a really good shared appetizer but was tough to eat as an entree. They lost points over the soup. What I got was tasty but not even close to what they advertised on the menu. I know food doesn't always look as good as the advertising, but this was missing the main ingredients and toppings. It had a few shreds of crab mixed in, but certainly did not have big pieces of crab or many (any) shrimp.

Went for my birthday brunch! Enjoyed the food and uniquely designed/presented cocktails. Spacious restaurant with adorable decor. Definitely want to go back. ONLY trouble I ran into was booking/finding, there is no cage sign... it's labeled as a pizza place and not much of a heads up is given for that in person upon arrival or for online booking. But like most things, you figure it out. Had the chicken burrito bowl (waitress described it as gigantic but it really wasn't- table agreed), and tiki taka cocktail. Other drinks were a mimosa and espresso martinis. They prepped those with some cute in foam designs!!

Having been to Pat's Select many times we were happy to get their new upscale restaurant in Huntingdon Valley. The food quality was the same, consistent, not ordinary and delicious, the only difference is that the 'pizza place' items are not on the menu which works for them. Good news - their amazing truffle fries are definitely on the menu! Service was excellent, our server was attentive and friendly and the bussers were on point. We went on Monday for our anniversary but are actually returning tonight with friends. Can't wait!

The space has a very cool vibe with fun cocktails. Especially the espresso martinis! They put fun little designs in the drinks. The space felt like they really were squeezing a lot of tables in, wasn't much room for the servers to get by if you were seated at the end of the table. We dined here when my sister was in town. Although we had The Cage in the GPS, the actual name on the outside was Select Pizza Grill. We had to call to find that out because we thought we were lost. Parking: A private lot Atmosphere: low lighting and great ambiance. Service: Ashley was our server. She was very patient and took the time to give us the drink info. Ashley was the best! She tried her best to understand our request even when I got tough. Ashley Rocks!!! Drinks: 1. El Classico: 100% agave mezcal tequila, historical French herbal liqueur, and a homemade pineapple cordial, topped off with our famous mango foam. This drink has a smokey end to it. Once you get over it, it isn't bad, but the smokey flavor may turn you off 2. Tikki Takka: a blend of 3-year-old white rum, exotic passion fruit liquor, cranberry juice, and fresh passion fruit purée, all finished off with a lovely house-made grapefruit foam. It was ok. Note: Their special drinks are pre-mixed, so you CAN NOT add or take away. Food: Small plates: 1. Double truffle fries. Very delicious and crispy! Great truffle aioli dipping sauce!! 2. Korean tacos. Very flavorful! The meat was tender!! I didn't read the ingredients I just ordered. so when that soap taste hit my pallet, I had to spit my food out and scrap the rest of it off. 3. Chicken Yakitori. Omg!! Tasty! Entree: 1. Jumbo shrimp risotto: it was ok. I needed a little more favor. Note: Although they have all the ingredients, you can not customize your meal even if you are willing to pay an up charge. That is so disappointing. On the way out, we met the manager Nektur, and he was nice and engaging. Overall, we enjoyed our food, and we would definitely come back.

Thanks to a Yelp review I knew that the name on the building said Select Pizza instead of The Cage. There is a small sign that says The Cage and depending on which direction you enter the parking lot, it could be easily missed. Recently myself and one of my girlfriends dined here. The service was good, the drinks were good and pretty, and the food was yummy. I forgot to notate our servers name but he provided very good recommendations. We both ordered The Theatre of Dreams made with a whiskey infused watermelon. For an appetizer we order cheesesteak roll-ups and for an entree I ordered the jumbo shrimp risotto. All very good.

CREDIT CARD USERS BEWARE!!! We went for a friends birthday and were very excited to try the Warrington location for the first time. The food was good, the drinks were decent And we had a good time despite our waiter not being very attentive. The problem came a few days later when all 3 of the people in our parties credit cards were fraudulently charged with an increased tip. We split the bill among 3 of us and each tipped adequately for the service we received. The waiter TYLER waited for us to leave and changed each tip by an additional $9 to $10 each. I called and spoke to the Manager Neco who basically said come get a gift card for the difference only after I produced a receipt that clearly showed deception and fraud by his employee. We have reached out to the local police and fraud protection. I am sure this isnt the first time this waiter did this but hopefully it will be his last. read more

So it's a little confusing set up - a bar inside a restaurant. I didn't know what was happening when I pulled up. But once in there, it's really charming. The bar manager was kind and engaging, and the drinks were very good. Very well-prepared. There aren't a ton of great cocktail places in Bucks Co., but this is one worth a visit. read more

On our way into Doylestown, our group stopped here for some quick cocktails and pizza. What a pleasant surprise! The decor and atmosphere is somewhat dark like a speakeasy with greenery walls. The pizza is AWESOME! I recommend the basic margarita. The sauce is so fresh and the crust is perfectly crispy. One of the girls in our group got the lettuce wraps and said the were delicious. Now the cocktails... OMG! The Bloody Mary is packet with toppings and flavors. One drink comes with a clip of burning lavender on it. Down the the branded "Cage" ice cubes, it's like they thought of everything. And they tasted great too! What looks like a small basic pizzeria is a hidden gem of cocktail magic. read more

PLEASE DO NOT EAT AT THIS RESTAURANT!!! The food was good , waitress had a nasty rude attitude & then afterwards harassed me requesting a larger tip!! In my experience I have never felt more disrespected after spending my money with a business. This bar is so aesthetically pleasing and the drinks are all amazing! I tried the tiki taka, lavender lloyd, and the joga bonito. Every drink was delicious and the presentation was beautiful. I highly recommend the truffle fries, they were so tasty! This bar also has a happy hour where drinks are half off so I will definitely be back again to try their happy hour! read more

Delicious brunch here! Make-your-own smoked salmon toast with shredded egg and whipped goat cheese had me drooling. Iced Fredo espresso was so good that I had to have 2! If you are just looking for good food and service, I can recommend Warrington. If you want the "Cage" experience go to the one in Audubon. read more

Went with my sister for a lunch bite and we were pleasantly surprised . The ambiance is amazing . The servers were so friendly . They even went out of their way to give us bags for our take out . We did lunch but we will be back to do dinner. The drinks and food were also amazing . We love specialty cocktails and trying new things ! So many to choose from . Last night I went to the Cage in Norristown for the first time. The decor was nice and the pizza was very good. However, that's where the kudos stop. We were there with 3 other couples. We had ordered a few apps such as the lettuce wraps (also good) and a pizza. Our waitress brought out all of the apps except the pizza which was not brought out until closer to the time when our actual meal arrived. Moving on, my friend ordered the pot roast french dip. This should have been renamed the Fat Dip as most of the meat was covered in it. In addition, he had asked for the mustard to NOT be on the roll (which did not happen). When I confronted the waitress about the sandwich, she said she would speak with the chef. Nothing more was ever mentioned about it and when the check arrived, it was still on there. So, my guess is that nothing was ever said to the chef. We paid for the meal with 4 credit cards. when we received our individual checks back to sign, we all noticed varying amounts of credit card charges ranging from $3.28 to $14.00. There was NO mention on the menu's of the credit card charge, but there was one listed on the checks stating a 3.5% surcharge. So if it's 3.5% why were all of the charges different? In the end, because of the bad service, inaccuracies and no closure on the french dip, I do not think any of us will be visiting this location again. Customer service is number one when eating at any restaurant and this establishment did not have it. read more

Such an incredible place! Huge wait at 6 pm on a Friday night so arrive early - lucky to snag 2 seats at the bar for date night. Still had access to the full menu, which was great. The grilled octopus was divine! Perfectly prepared and grilled just to barely done. Also ordered the burrata, which was creamy and smooth, and the plate nicely presented. Best of all were the cocktails, each uniquely crafted and delicious. Highly recommend the No. 10, lavender Lloyd (fills the bar with lavender 'incense'), and Gold cup martini with brûlée pineapple. Having just moved to PA, we had been wanting to try out the Cage for awhile now and last Friday did just that. What an absolute delight! First, before getting into the delicious cocktails and appetizers, need to give a major shout out to Dante, our server. We had an wonderful evening and it was due in no short order to Dante's friendly (authentic, BTW) service. He's the kind of person who when you return to the restaurant you enjoyed you specifically ask for him. For cocktails we had the gold cup martini and old fashion, as well as a Blue Moon on tap. All were good, and you could tell that whoever made the cocktails knew their stuff! We tried just two of the appetizers, the short ribs flatbread and cheese steak roll ups - both were delicious and we'll be sure to order then again on a return visit. Next visit we'll probably try the restaurant for entrees, but for those seeking a nice happy hour adventure, this is THE place to go! Enjoy! read more

The ambiance and cocktails are most favorable however the servers and food were meh. I tried the short rib flatbread (which I do not recommend) and bao buns. Sadly not impressed by either of those items. The service was very underwhelming. Three servers gathered near the hostess podium to gossip and check their phones while it took 15 minutes for us to get water after getting seating. If I made a request they would refer me to my waiter and seemed to have no interest in helping. This might've been an off day but I was definitely disappointed on my first visit. read more

Sheesh I'm trying to figure out where do I begin. Well from the moment we arrived the atmosphere was amazing and the customer service started immediately once we walked in the door. We were greeted with smiles and warm welcomings, AND THEY DIDNT MAKE US WAIT TO BE SEATED BECAUSE OUR WHOLE PARTY WASNT PRESENT, MAJOR PLUS! Once seated we were IMMEDIATELY GREETED BY OUR HOST (KYLE) who I must say is FINE my whole party was smitten by him lol. And he knew we knew he was gorgeous lol. Kyle was very very very tentative to us providing best menu and drink options for us, and he consistently checked on us. Food came out hot and ready and the drinks were NOT watered down. If you ever visit please ask for Kyle lol also Kyle has a twin brother that works there who's just as nice named Tyler both very nice. Went in specifically to order the espresso martini and was told they were out of espresso so we ordered other cocktails. A short time later, we saw espresso being made and asked again about the espresso martini, as we brought friends from out of town to try it the martini. We were again told they were out of espresso, despite witnessing espresso being made. Then we saw a patron come in, order an espresso martini and get served without hesitation. We confronted staff and were simply told by multiple people that their staff "plays favorites". We were not offered a martini, offered to come back another time to have one or anything. Our waitress, Alexis, was very attentive and made sure our drinks were never empty. She reminded us it was 15 minutes before happy hour ended so we could get one last round of drinks. My husband and I loved our cocktails (we each got two) and we split 4 of the small plate meals. It was very affordable (partially due to happy hour discounts), and the food was really spectacular. Especially recommend the bao buns. We were chatting with Alexis about how this was not our first visit, but we had come back after a long period to try their new cocktails (it seems like they may be rebranding to "the cage cocktail bar?). At the end of our meal she brought out a complimentary dessert and thanked us for coming to try their new menu/drinks. We had an excellent time and the service could not be beat. One thing I noticed was how rushed our waiter was. He was running around like crazy and we all realized he was the second bartender and also the waiter for everyone in the bar area. I do feel bad about that, I know that's how things work sometimes, but that definitely showed in his disposition. He felt rushed needing to equally attended to everyone eating and also everyone at bar. I don't fault him for that he did a good job under the circumstances, but it's a shame he was put into that position. As far as the food goes, I will admit I found myself disappointed. For my appetizer, I ordered the mushroom toast. I kid you not what came out was just the bread, they served for free at the table, lightly grilled with some messily chopped mushrooms on top. I'll be honest and say I would be embarrassed to serve that to any customer. For my main course, I had the lamb dish. It was decent but the amount of lamb compared to the massive mound of photos and greens was not enough. Plus, the dish promised a demi-glaze that was almost not present at all making whole dish eat dry. With more lamb and sauce the dish would have been pretty good. For desert, I ordered the crème brûlée. It was ok, but was somewhat flavorless. The drink I ordered was good and came in a very unique martini glass that kept the drink cold. Overall, I will say I was disappointed in the food here. I wasn't expecting 5 stars, I was expecting a decent hometown restaurant meal. What I got was somewhat below that. The service is much better and more pleasant than at the other location, and the atmosphere is more pleasant, in my opinion. And honestly, I like the food here better too. The Cage Cocktail bar is by far my favorite spot to order cocktails. The bartenders close attention to detail makes the experience feel like I'm in New York City! The most beautiful things in The Cage Cocktail Bar is cocktails menu - great pictures along with detailed description looks very attractive. Much better, than actual cocktails on taste. Service is good even there are always many people. Taste of the food was boring, no anything special. read more
