Excellent place to bring your Fur babies! We love taking Mia to Caine Corner just for 1/2 day service so she could play with other dogs and get puppy time she comes home so tired out. I especially love how meticulous cleanliness and serene atmosphere is the dogs are well cared and loved. My hubby surprised me with an overnight today so we need to use them as an overnight boarding and they were very accommodating. Upon seeing the sleeping area and the attention to the meticulously clean place I knew my Mia would be fine not caged they have their suite like rooms. The dogs are never alone and it was Mia first time away from home.Thank you Britney

My dog, my husband, and I love Canine Corner. It's a tad expensive but worth it if you want the best care for your dog. From their wonderful new hire, Devaney, at reception to Janelle and other awesome staff literally sitting with the dogs all day in the pen, they keep the atmosphere healthy and harmonious. I truly feel that my pit mix, Henry, has learned how to be a healthy, sociable dog from his weekly visits and occasional boarding at Canine Corner. When I pick him up from Monster Mutt or any other doggie day care center, he is rowdy and crazed and doesn't listen to me (plus there's always so much barking elsewhere). When I pick him up from Canine Corner, he is calm, tired from a long day of fun, and in a good headspace. Very grateful that they're down the street from me (and I'm so glad they hired Devaney because she's brought such a bright welcoming vibe to the lobby)!

Canine Corner is owned by the fine folks at The Peaceful Pack (Mark and James). I booked an appointment for my Sheltie Clemens to be groomed. I was so pleased with the entire experience. The groomer Dominique did a wonderful job. I am very fussy about my pup and I asked for a "show grooming" which is a very specific task with a Sheltie. Down to the most minute detail, Dominique made my dog look just like a show dog (he's a rescue but of course is treated like royalty in my household ). :-) The price was reasonable and the overall experience very pleasant. I will be bringing my dog back for all his grooming needs. I also board him with James and he's very well cared for. BTW, while I was there, I could see the dogs that attend the doggy day care and extended stay boarding. There was always a person in the large, clean space with the dogs. And the dogs seemed to be having a good time.

We found out about this place from a friend of a friend. It's pretty new, which I think is why it doesn't have reviews, and I'm not sure we would have found it--man are we glad we did! Ditto is as happy as can be at Canine Corner. He's a very social dog and always comes home exhausted from playing his little Havanese heart out. We've taken him for daycare three times and recently picked him up from his first overnight boarding stay, which we like to call "sleepaway camp." He's started to recognize the route to the place and pulls to get there faster. When we arrive he paws at the door, which we take as a very good sign that he's pumped to be going. The staff there are super friendly and helpful and very responsive by phone and email. Not only are they loving with the pets in their care, they're also sensitive and patient with those pets' neurotic parents. Therese was happy to email me photos of Ditto while we were away from him this weekend and to keep me posted about a problem he was having with his eye, which improved under their care. While other kennels leave dogs alone at night, relying on cameras to let them know if anything goes wrong, Canine Corner has someone with the dogs 24-7, so there's always someone there if a pet gets sick or there's some other emergency. During his boarding time Ditto also got a bath and a trim, and came home to us both looking and smelling fabulous. Canine Corner also has some great treats. We love their hooves--or I should say, Ditto loves their hooves, and we love that we can eat dinner without having to defend it from the dog. We wish this place were in our neighborhood, but it's worth the subway trip with dog in tow to know he's someplace where he's happy and safe.

I started going here because I knew Mark and James from the Peaceful Pack, and it quickly became my go-to place for boarding and grooming.

Prospect Bark has been a gift! I recently started bringing my puppy, Tucci, for daycare, and the…read morelevel of care he receives is truly exceptional. The team is incredibly warm, thorough, and genuinely invested in the well-being of every dog who walks through their door. What I love most is that their philosophy of dog care mirrors high-quality child care -- attentive, structured, and deeply compassionate. It aligns perfectly with the kind of love and care that I give Tucci at home, which makes it easy to trust them and feel safe sending him there. One of my favorite parts of the day is receiving the photos and videos they send. It's clear from every update that Tucci is happy, engaged, and in great hands. He loves it there! I am so grateful to have Prospect Bark in the neighborhood. I wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone looking for a safe, joyful, and nurturing place for their pup.

Hello! I wanted to kindly remind this business that it is illegal to perform "working interviews"…read morewithout compensation. Working interviews are legally considered trial employment, which requires at least minimum wage. When asked by a prospective employee if this will be a paid trial, the owner responded to them saying that if that matters to them, the job probably won't work out. Aside from legally, that's pretty morally gross. Especially in the current job market. Nobody should be expected to work for free, even if that job involves hanging out with dogs! Dogs are great. We love our dog. We love him so much, we even feed him! Which is hard to do when being denied pay for labor. Just something for this business to consider changing moving forward, and maybe something prospective employees and clientele should be aware of.

Wonderful person and my dog's favorite human. I think I may come in second ;)…read more I found Rebecca on the Prospect Bark site four years ago and she's cared for my now 13-yo Shiba ever since. I've been lucky to have had a number of really great people walk lil Z before we moved to Clinton Hill - Rebecca is by far the best of 'em. She bonds with your dog, has what The dog whisperer calls "calm, assertive energy" to lead dogs with ease, and genuinely cares for them. Some people can really see into animals. I love hearing about how my furball's day went when I get home from work. Rebecca's notes always affectionately capture a little snapshot of my doggy's personality and make me smile. She's also super responsible and responsive. Man, if I could, I'd give Rebecca 6 stars!

This person could not love animals more nor be more trustworthy as far as they are concerned. She…read morehas a natural knack for communicating with dogs in particular. I had an unruly beast of a puppy when she first came along this summer. She knew right away how to keep him in behavior mode, while still being very sweet to him. She's not one of those lazy dogwalkers either, doing the minimum as many do. It is great for me as I often come home from work to a pleasantly exhausted dog. Now we've hit fall and I feel like I have a much more manageable creature to return home to after a long day of work. In addition to being one of the more trustworthy and honest people I have ever hired in such a capacity, she's also very available and when she can't assist me, she knows who else to refer me to. Oh, and she has a way with people too - after dogsitting once, she left me a vase of flowers and a nice note on a card, reporting all the things my dog got to do while I was away. I would recommend Rebecca to anyone looking for a responsible & considerate person to trust their animal friend with.
