I celebrated my birthday dinner here and this was a 10/10 experience. Marko took great care of me and dinner was delicious. The steak was perfectly cooked, the drinks were good, I was constantly getting my water refilled (without it being annoying), and I got a free birthday dessert. The vibe was very much classic, old money, which was perfect for my night as well!

A busy restaurant when there are shows playing across the street. I tried to get a reservation the night prior and was unsuccessful. Fortunately, I had back to back shows at different theaters and was able to get into this location with a group of six. It's a couple minutes walk from each of the theaters to enjoy a meal before/after and not too bad of a walk in the winter season for my aging parents who have difficulty walking. It seemed the nearby hotel might offer valet parking otherwise we left our car with the theater valet service. We were seated after a few minutes of arrival at a circular table that proved convenient for socializing with one another. Given that we went to dinner after the show, we had plenty of time to order and enjoy our meal. Marko, our server was aware of the theaters and had asked how much time we had to ensure we weren't late for anything. It took us a minute to order but everyone got their orders in and received their food without issue. I had a steak that was cooked to perfection and we ordered several sides to share at the table. Everyone was pleasantly surprised with their meal including my mom who if something could go wrong with her order, will go wrong. She raved about the lobster bisque soup she had and the chunks of lobster to where I continued to hear about it the next day. She said she would return just to have the lobster bisque soup. This was highly unusual to hear my mom pleased with a restaurant experience. lol. All was well until my dad swallowed too large of a piece of steak and it somehow was stuck in his stomach to the point he was uncomfortable. I took him to the bathroom to see if we could help him feel better but ended up leaving the restaurant and heading to the ER for evaluation. The ER gave him some dark soda to burp it up...if you ever have a similar experience. While all this was going on while we were in the bathroom, and the others were finishing their meal and waiting on us, the service team came in to check on us periodically and offer assistance. Marko and the service team were amazing. I felt bad for causing additional stress on them and hoped we didn't cause too much of an impact. My meal for what I was able to enjoy while trying to care for my dad was wonderful, and I look forward to the next opportunity to return under better circumstances.

This restaurant never disappoints! Doesn't matter which location. Service is superior period. Food is always to die for. This time we took my MIL and she raved about it all. It is now her favorite and even tho she lives 25 mins away she wants to continue going. They were nicely decorated for the holidays and it was a great dinner after our event at the theatre.

Best Customer Service I've had in a while. There was a conference downtown so the restaurant was packed but they managed to make me feel like I was the only customer. I went for the Wagyu and Wine special they were running which was held in the lounge but since it was so packed I was set at a booth. I ordered the wagyu mushroom & Swiss burger medium accompanied by the the Orin Swift Zinfandel blend. The burger and wine were both delicious . The burger was served with fries. For the inconvenience of the crowd which was really no inconvenience at all I was given dessert, the capital grille cheesecake. The cheesecake came brulee style with fresh berries. I'm not generally a cheesecake lover but it was good.

Came here for a girls night out and did the Wagyu & Wine parting! Our server Jordan was ABSOLUTELY fantastic some of the best service I've had in a very long time. We started off with caviar and chips as my friend had never had caviar and it was a hit! Next we had the burger which we both chose the grille Wagyu cheeseburger which was very good! Perfectly seasoned and a juicy patty! We both upgraded to truffle fries and enjoyed those as well! Alsoooo the bread basket is out of this world amazing. So many different selections to choose from you can fill up on it quickly! The wine was very good I chose a Pinot noir for my friend and I had a cab. We will definitely be back to see Jordan.

Very beautiful classical steakhouse decor with very knowledgeable and polite wait staff. The menu is pricey, but filled with very delicious and well crafted dishes.

Every year my friend and I celebrate our birthdays at Capital Grille. It is one of my favorite traditions. The service is always exceptional but this year it even exceeded previous experiences The whole staff is so attentive. Seriously, the whole night I felt like a VIP. My favorite thing is the shareable Lobster Mac N Cheese. I look forward to it every year. If you are celebrating a special occasion, you must celebrate at Capital Grille.

This is a super high end restaurant. You walk in and are instantly impressed by the decor. White table cloths and high end service and food.

I don't think theirs anyone who could complain about Capital Grill - I am always impressed when I have the opportunity to visit a location. Kennon took great care of us and after forgetting our order of calamari, he was able to comp one of our drinks. My Cobb salad and crab cake was made to perfection and my French 75 was *chefs kiss*! The setting is beautiful, the ambiance is intimate but a wonderful spot to celebrate family milestones like a graduation!

Had another fantastic lunch here. I'm giving it a 5 for the lunch service. The ambiance, the food and the hospitality were all outstanding. The special of the day was a Lobster & Crab Burger and it was superb. They combined chunks of crab meat and lobster and formed a patty with very little filler material ... then they griddled the patty and served it on a brioche bun with a basil lemon aioli on the side that was an interesting change from the remoulade that you might typically expect to be served with a crabcake. The combination of everything was delicious and memorable.

The woman at the bar who helped us had amazing energy and was extremely friendly and helpful. She recommended two NA wines I could try and described them both in detail. They also had an Athletic Beer available. The space is super clean and chill. There's lots of space inside to hang out and play games. They also have a cute little patio where you can sit and watch the Monon. I really enjoyed my first visit and will definitely be back!

When I had first visited and found out that they do wine bingo, I knew I had to come back. My bestie and I used to love going to Wine Market & Table for wine bingo, but after they closed a few years ago we never found anyone else who did it. Solely Wine has solved that! They have a nice selection of wines available by the glass, but they also have a much larger selection of wines, separated by type, that you can buy by the bottle (you can't grab them yourself off the shelf, a staff member has to do that) to open and drink there or take home. My friends and I each started out with just a glass of wine and then ended up buying some bottles to share while playing bingo since we were staying for a few hours and it was a better price point to share bottles. It can get expensive buying by the glass. They also have some snacks/appetizers available for purchase if you get hungry. The inside has lots of different seating options: cozy arm chairs and couches, large family-dinner-style tables, and smaller tables along the windows. They also have a beautiful patio! Towards the back they also have an art gallery and additional seating, although I don't think that space is always open. The bathroom is kept very clean and the staff are helpful and attentive. Can't wait to come back for another girls night.

It's not much to look at from the outside - in small strip mall off Fall Creek about 2 miles north of 96th, but the inside is both luxe and comfortably cozy. At just 12 tables, you get your table for the night, so there is no rush and your evening can be as long as you want to make it. They also have a gorgeous little side wine room that you can rent for parties of 6-8 for dinner. And there's a little bar area that seats maybe 4-6. We had reservations for 6pm, so there were only 2 or 3 other tables occupied when we got there, but they filled throughout the night (& we left close to 8pm). Our server Shaunda was delightful, and the owner Dan came around and checked on all the tables a few times as well. We were presented with a cous cous amuse bouche, a nice refreshing bite to start the evening. Hubs had an Italian Old Fashioned and I asked our server to pair wine for me, so it was a Decoy Sauv Blanc with our first course - the mussels. We asked for extra crostinis in order to soak up more of the delicious sauce they came in. Next was the beet arugula salad, so good! For entrees, hubs had the pappardelle bolognaise and got an iced T, and I had the short ribs with risotto, paired with a glass of cab franc. Dessert was coffee (americano) for each of us, and we split the tiramisu (see all my pics). We ate and enjoyed everything! Total with tax was right at 200 before gratuity. So this is more of a splurge place for us, (of course would be less without the beverages we did) but we will be back. It was a really pleasant evening and another big win for me picking birthday places! #yum #ReviewsByRL

The hospitality was great, and their drink and food recommendations were equally wonderful. One thing to note is the portions on the appetizers are fairly large, so keep that in mind when ordering. To start, we ordered the Korean Fried Mushrooms with baechu kimchi, gochujang honey, daikon radish, furikake, and scallions. These were great but unfortunately had to save room for the other items and could not finish. Then got the Center Cut Ribeye which came with cajun spiced spaetzle, summer squash, remoulade sauce, pink peppercorn ricotta, scallions, sweetie drops, and chimichurri. The steak was cooked to a rare/medium rare consistency that was delicious and we loved the tiny peppers. We paired it with a nice red wine the bartender recommended and it was a lovely experience. Lastly we ended the night with the strawberry dacquoise and espresso. The dessert came with strawberry mousse, pistachio cake, strawberry glaze, white chocolate bark with pistachio & pink peppercorn, and frosted mint. It was a refreshing summertime dessert perfect to end the day. I definitely recommend the steak dish and heard the airline chicken and Chilean sea bass were good too. Would love to come back and try a cocktail and a different dish while sitting on the patio! Second Time: Got the tamarind disco cocktail that comes with a lollipop - amazing, would order again! We tried the fried chicken and caviar, pork chop, and honey cake! All three were delicious - the fried chicken and mushrooms are tied for appetizers, bowers we still think the steak is better than the pork chop. The honey cake was amazing and it paired perfectly with the decalf espresso martini (or a black coffee perhaps). Looking forward to round 3 during my next work trip!

It's a very small kitchen where all the action happens, which is very impressive for a restaurant their size. Very knowledgeable staff and servers described all the ingredients and notes of flavor to look for in the dishes very well. Most ingredients were locally sourced and staff highlighted the importance of souring fresh local ingredients with every dish. Everyone form the hostess to the bartender and bus boy were friendly and welcoming. definitely 5* for service. The menu is a mix of several cuisines from Korean to Italian and even some French with a twist. The menu has great vegetarian options. Unfortunately the chef's tasting menu wasn't available as my reservation was made same day, but I decided to go with the two specials of the day. Dinner kicked off with a shot of Champaign on the house They like welcoming their guests that way. Water kept being refilled immediately. The staff again was very attentive. As an appetizer I went with the Scallops crudo with house made berry vinegar. The crudo was a healthy serving of scallops. Crispy raw carrots and radish provide some texture, while greens including endive provided some bitterness. This dish was a bit heavy on pepper and bitterness from the endives and could use some acidity to balance it out. Scallops were not as sweet as I was expecting. A bit more of the homemade raspberry vinagrette would have been perfect. The dark blue ring caused by the marination process would have shown more on a different color serving plate instead of a black bowl. For the main course I ordered the Beet linguini with sea bass. Interesting take on linguini Pickled rhubarb, rainbow radishes, fresh dill and a 'beet marinara' sauce reminded me of borscht. Unfortunately the linguini was overcooked and soaked up a lot of the butter and sauce. The pickled rhubarb provided a break from the heaviness of the dish but overall the dish lacked brightness. Sea bass was perfectly cooked. Seared and crusted with salt and pepper on one side, simple. Well executed but nothing special. For dessert I went with the Strawberry dacquoise which was delicious. The white chocolate bark with pink peppercorn stole the show. It should be layered inside the dessert! I wanted more of it. This dessert was not overly sweet. it was a great mix of pistachios and strawberry and fluffy cake. Gelee was a bit too dense but otherwise fantastic end to a good meal.
