Bought my Land Rover LR3 from these guys a few months ago. After a few hiccups at the beginning I'm enjoying my suv. Almost immediately after buying the car there was an issue with a sensor, the A.C. unit had a pinpoint leak and one of the brake calipers would stick. I contacted the dealer immediately and they said to bring the car back and they will address all the issues. After a couple days in their shop all was fixed. They also gave me a loaner vehicle off the lot to drive. I have only had a couple minor things to repair since, common Rover issues I come to find out. Vanessa was our sales lady. Very friendly and we had the deal complete through email before I made the 1.5hr drive. Who ever details their vehicles does an awesome job. Even the engine bay was super clean. After reading other reviews people need to remember you are buying a used car. Make sure you research the common problems other owners have run into with theirs before buying. Get a pre purchase inspection if you are worried. And don't fall for the warranties, most of those companies will find reasons not to cover the repairs. Save the money for if you do have an issue, just my 2 cents. read more

The Car Connection have bee very good to me. I bought a gorgeous car (a 2010 V6 Accord), but soon after I got it home, the emissions light came on. Car Connection fixed my dead catalytic converter for free, even though I had driven it off the lot and the deal was complete three or four days before. Since then, they have gone out of their way to help me when my car needs it. I really appreciate that they stand behind what they sell. I bought a car last November through these guys and i was in a bind and they got me in quick , within two weeks the radiator blew not even 2 weeks after that the heater went out , i spent all winter without heat I broke down numerous times after that I had to replace a water pump 3 thermostats and then the car started over heating non stop the faster you go the more it overheated I tried everything after missing several weeks of work I called them as a last resort for help they told me to bring it down and they kept it for a week before even looking at it and then the owner and kale and the mechanic decided to spray sealant in it he said it will be ready tomorrow already upset at how they have treated me I went to pick it up and the mechanic said he never test drove it so he didn't even know if it's safe .. Ok well fast forward 2 weeks later I'm on my way to work and the car shuts off because it just shot up so high when I pulled over I had to be towed and my head gaskets are blown and now I'm out of a car I called them for help to see if they can put me in something different so I dont lose my job and every time i call there out of town or there test driving cars and the worst part about this is I just lost my job last week because of this and now I'm struggling to provide for my daughter ! IF I COULD GIVE NEGATIVE STARS---- I WOULD GIVE 100 NEGATIVE STARS!! It was the WORST car buying experience anyone could of had!!! On Saturday, March 28, 2015 my friend of over 20 years and myself, went to look at a vehicle at Car Connections. I was there mostly for moral support for my friend in buying his dream car. Things went sour VERY quickly. The sales lady, Vanessa, was very nice and helpful! The store manager was an utter disgrace to the car buying experience. The manager put his foot on the front bumper of the car that my friend and I were looking at. I politely asked him to take his foot off of the bumper. He looked at me in a "Yeah--NO!" manner and kept pushing my friend to to in-house financing with him, when my friend had a pre-approval letter from his Credit Union. Shortly after I politely asked the manager to take his foot off the bumper; I escalated my voice to better clarify my disapproval in the manager having his foot on the bumper. The manager then told me that I WAS NO PART OF THIS and then he got in my face and said that HE COULD PUT HIS FOOT ON ***HIS*** CAR IF HE WANTED TO. He then started to put me down in MANY other ways and I put my hand up to shake his and to tell him that I didn't need to hear him vent and that I was sorry if I caused him any grief. He looked at my hand and stormed into the building... My friend and I then said goodbye to Vanessa and I went to the car first.. The Manager then stormed back out, put his face in front of my friend's face and told him something. When my friend got in the car he told me what the manager said to him; which was: "I don't want HIM to ever come to my store AGAIN!!! But you're more than welcome to come back and buy the car." Both my friend and I have come to an agreement that the Manager VERY FREELY pulled out the discrimination card.... I'm not sure what to do from here.. but I called today to try and get a hold of the owner, just 3 days after the incident, and I got a hold of the mean and nasty Manager on the phone and he still told me never to call again.... I understand that I could of handled things differently BUT SO COULD HE. What it ALL comes down to is.... that any sales person has the right to refuse a sale against a PARTY.. but they do NOT have the right to single a person out and tell them that they're no longer welcome here. The owner needs to fire Steve, the Financial Manager.. He's a scuzzy creep who needs to come back to earth and realize that we're ALL human... he's no better than ANYONE else. read more

It didnt work out but the salesman brought out a few more cars that fit what we wanted. We found one we liked and worked out a deal. They were great about getting us the carfax, letting us drive the car around all day before we signed any papers, and answering our questions. Also, their cars are super clean. *** DONT BUY VEHICLES FROM THESE SCAM ARTISTS !!!! *** Of course I would pick to buy a car from the biggest scam artists in town. I wish I would of thought to check Yelp before buying. The reviews of this place is not a lie. Theses guys get paid to act like the best people in town all the while lying and scamming the hell out of you. We bought a 2000 Mazda from them. As I drove the vehicle home I noticed that the Air Conditioning wasn't working. My sig. other used a kit on it and it was fine. Fast forward a month later just after our first car payment has been made, the car was over heating to the point the car would stall dead. We had planned to take it back to the dealer, but decided to take it to a trusted repair guy a few blocks up the street to see what they could tell us about the situation. The car had issues starting now too, as we pulled out jumper cables to start the car, it didn't want to turn over. Amazingly some how we got the car started and we're looking at the engine and we could see antifreeze leaking out a hose. We quickly got the car up to the repair guy. Mind you I am stressing we had to plunk out full the full price for the car after our other car was in a hit and run $$$ out of my pocket already. We desperately needed a replacement car ASAP to get my daughter to school and my 80 year old mother to doctors appointments from the recent accident. As stated by someone else's comment they didn't want to give any kind of deals there. Whats more annoying the guy that sold us the car told me his boss was taking all the employees there to Vegas on him...no wonder!! Ripping off the little people to fund extravagant company outings ( for a bunch of douche bag jerks ). I was talking to my Sig. Other about the Mazda we bought from The Car Connect and said I think we just need to fork out the money to get it fixed at the repair shop cause I worry if they sold a car like this, that they would continually scam us on crap repairs to make more money off of us. After reading this I'm glad we didn't go that route. So far we were told they used stop leak in the hose that was leaking, which needs to be replaced. We may need to have the thermostat replaced (unknown as of yet) and it looks like we need a new starter. Not only did we pay The Car connects full asking price, but so far we are in about $700.00+ in repairs. I don't know how this place is allowed to stay open after all of these horrific comments. These people are paid actors (quite the attractive nice accommodating bunch until something goes wrong) and are the biggest scammers on earth don't ever, ever buy from these people. God help the guy that came in the day we bought our car and gave them $10,000.00 cash on a BMW. Just bought a used car at this dealership. Both the salesman and the sales manager treated us with respect and even though we weren't spending much on the car, the sales manager researched if he would be able to transfer my personalized plates from my other car (which I will be keeping) to the 'new car'. After the sales, I was getting ready to leave and the battery was dead, the salesman jumped the battery and I was ready to drive off. The sales manager stopped me and got a new battery and changed it. When I was leaving after the battery change, the sales manager apologized for keeping me a few extra minutes, but he would feel terrible if my car wouldn't start in the morning. When I called The CarConnection they told me that if I got it towed out to them they would help me. That was a month ago and thanksgiving is this weekend and my cant do anything, can't even shop for groceries because these crooks took both my vehicles. I had bought in a Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited from them it seem to be good only 80,000 miles very good condition drove good at the time had it for 3 weeks it started having tranny problems keep in mind I bought the extended warranty and they said everything would be covered under the powertrain warranty unless it was a computer part or a sensor I brought it to the Jeep there was like 30 stored codes on there I paid for them to wipe it and read it again and this is after I brought it to car connections and they said they couldn't do anything because they didn't have the equipment so I ended up paying 11 hundred dollars for the part and installation and then now 2 months to 3 months later my brakes went out on my car I called them they haven't called me back yet I think it's bull crap that they can even sell a car that isn't even roadworthy I mean I almost hit 3 people because the brakes failed on it how can you sell a car that has brake issues like that and not tell anybody and not to mention very bad customer service it was all good in the beginning but when you have a problem they ignore you and I hope if you're seeing this and you work there you can change your ways because we all work hard for our money and nobody can afford to be screwed I am going through a bankruptcy and I can't even get another car loan but I have a car that I've already spent $1,100 on after I paid 2504 the warranty that doesn't cover s*** it's not fair to me and it's not safe I've more than likely might be taking them to court over this because I have all the records of the codes that were on the car when I bought it and Jeep is the only people that are really helping me through this so that their vehicle doesn't cause me any problems they care unlike car connections and I didn't even buy the f****** vehicle from them I feel that is kind of strange I've been working on getting a lawyer and I hope they end up paying for my brakes to be fixed read more

I'm giving Car Connection 5 stars because they went above and beyond to make sure my husband and I were happy. We purchased a Jeep Cherokee from Frank. He's a fast talker but don't let that discourage you! He just drinks a lot of coffee lol! Very nice guy who puts up with a lots of crap and is still polite. Vanessa works there and answers the phone most days. She's so nice and helpful and you will always get a call back! The rock star of the group is the manager Kale! Love this guy! We got a warranty on our car and he gave it to us for half price because my husband is a Veteran. My husband always wants new breaks on all four wheels when we purchase a vehicle and they did it for free. With all used vehicles there can be problems. 5 days later the head gaskets blew. I called them and thought I was going to get a bunch of crap because of their reviews but I didn't. They told me to bring it in and they would fix it right away! Kale gave me another car off the lot until mine was fixed. They did everything they could to make sure we were happy. They made customer service their number one priority! I'm happy with my car and I'm very happy with Car Connection!!! read more

This place is not playing by the rules. They will scam your ass as soon as you walk on the lot. If your deal starts to unravel and you have already taken the car off of the lot, and then they have you bring it back, these scumbags will tell you that you will NOT get your entire deposit back because they have to have it detailed again and they're only giving you any money back because they are being "good" guys. They have been reported to the BBB and the Attorney General for this bull crap they call "business". It's one thing to start the process of selling a vehicle to someone and have them fill out paperwork for it, but if there are any holes like no paystubs or way of verifying employment, maybe, MAYBE YOU DON'T LET THEM TAKE THE VEHICLE YOU'RE TRYING TO SELL THEM OFF OF THE LOT!! I don't know how these guys have any good reviews. I have bought two vehicles from them and they are no good. The first one I bought was nice but every time I went by a business alarm it beeped over and over like an 80's radar detector. Took it in three times and they said,"They couldn't get it to beep."A total lie.I got it to do it right by their shop. The second vehicle was a 2007 Ford F-150. Within two weeks of buying it I had to replace the exhaust,driveline,battery, and one front hub. It cost me 2000 $. Then I brought it in for warrany repair and get it back and one of the shields that covers the top of my window is broke. The mechanic doesn't even tell me. I notice it two blocks away drive back and he doesn't even offer to fix it. He orders me new ones and they don't match. I have to take them all (4) off myself and replace them. Took me 4 hours. I also had a girlfriend of mine buy a car there for 8,000 and it was a lemon. Brandon is who sold me these rigs. He is a spineless pathological liar. A true car salesman. Piece of garbage. Well as you can maybe tell many yelp reviews involve the dealer selling junk cars. Now in my case my car is acceptable... Enough.... So you can bypass the "Dealer sold me a junk car so they deserve 0 stars" type of review with this one. Also keep in mind i bought my car around 18 months ago and am now alot more knowledgeable, so this is based on a present view. Now i came in... Young, with some cash, 1st time buyer, brand new to the whole process, and basically lost. The perfect car sales victim. Met my present day car and the sales person (name i won't expose because im nice like that) who didn't know crap about the car except for the fact that it had door handles and a set of wheels. But of course a good smile is supposed to be enough. I went through the whole sales process and did what every single sales person wish their customers did. I paid full sticker on a car that was over priced as hell. I was unwelcomed to negotiate as i was a 1st time buyer because "we have to run credit to see if you even qualify... Looks like you qualify, now sign here and its yours!". Anyways to give you an idea the car was probably worth literally 2/3 of the sticker price. The car had alot of miles, broken compartment glued shut, with scratches on the front , and some wheels well disguised in cheap black Plastidip (Pretty sure they did it to other cars). Now i didnt notice these things right away but here i am. Also i was promised a 2nd key, was told to come back later only to find out there is no key. Wasn't even called about my plates. And ohh car delivery? They left basically all sticker residue on the window... As i look back now i notice how greasy the dealership and the salesperson were as a whole and did not give a damn when they should because: 1 customer can turn into a client, a client will bring you 2 more clients. One single client will buy 3 cars from you. Thats 10+ cars from one single person. Its Referral business. I am now referring people away from this business. read more

Over priced vehicle, no bargain, failed to give us the key for the doors $180, spare key for the engine another $80 they said they would produce, I paid for at a dealership. Less than 300 hundred miles brakes made such horrible sound I took it in for repairs, front brake & rotors replacement $800. The brake and rotors were so gone, apparently fixed enough to leave the lot on a test drive and deceive. Buyer beware allot of caution do get a second opinion $60 investment for a mechanic would have saved allot of cost. Vehicle was very clean. The car connection did not keep there word. read more

Honestly I am baffled by the bad reviews this place has gotten. Three people in my family have cars from this dealer and we have all had nothing but great and courteous customer service from these guys. My aunt bought an SUV from them and when the tail light went out they replaced it for free. Another aunt had a repo and they still worked with her to get her into an affordable reliable car. I was having problems with my brakes and they offered to fix them for half price. I opted to trade it back to them for a more fuel efficient car. The place where I got my previous loan said no so they found me a different loan place with a lower percentage even. They sold me my car forless than the value because it had been on the lot for awhile and we were repeat customers. I don't know if they changed owners or got new salesman or what but we love this place and will continue to be happy customers with them. read more

Buying a used car from anywhere is always risky, but Brandon was honest and the price on the car was very fair. I do see the low reviews, but you have to do your homework when buying a used car. They let me take the car for a pre-purchase inspection so I would know what I was buying. Then they also did extra preventative maintenance on the car, some part of the deal, some for a reasonable service charge. The work was done and they gave me the old parts back. No - the car is not perfect, but it was a great deal for a knowledgeable buyer. I will likely be back the next time I am shopping for a car; I really like that they are willing to throw in work as part of the deal. read more

I made a big mistake the first time I shopped here, not because of the car, which was great, but because I helped a loved one buy a sweet BMW that did not deserve to drive it. So that car ended up back at Car Connection with major issues, and I was stuck with a car I didn't want. Two cars, two payments, one driver. What to do? Enrique and Cale helped me out by getting me into a beautiful, clean SUV with low miles, working the numbers to absorb negative equity and solve my problem. You gotta do what you gotta do. In my case I bit the bullet but I'm now driving the nicest car I could ever dream of owning. Both purchases were low key, not pushy, and I left happy both times. I know most used car places on Hwy 99 are assumed to be sketchy. But I can say honestly that twice this year I've been pleased with the vehicles and the service I received. I just bought a car from them and upon my arrival home I found that there was a pretty serious problem with the engine (it was a problem that they were not aware of and only showed up that night out of chance!) I called them up and they had a tow truck pick it up that night and brought it to a professional auto repair shop and fixed the problem and more. They were so kind and helpful, calling me every day to give me updates and getting my car back to me as fast as possible. They went above and beyond anything I could have expected and I am so very grateful for the amazing customer service they gave me. I've read a few negative reviews for them (some without good cause) and I'd like to encourage anyone who doesn't like to be hassled or handled by a car dealership and it's salesmen to go here. after i saw a car that i wanted on craigslist, i decided to go and take a look even though some of the reviews where bad. as soon as i got there the sales woman Vanessa warmly greeted me and my friend and she was great with my 10 m old baby. so right off the bat i liked her. she helped me find financing for my car that was right in my price range AND she helped me find significantly cheaper insurance for my new car. What an embarrassing excuse for a "car dealership". More like "broken car dealership". If you want a car you have to CONSTANTLY work on, go to this place. I bought a Volvo from here with a sign that said "As Is". I checked out all the flaws that ranged from broken handle to the door to the trunk not opening without a key. I figured these werent huge issues and I could deal with them. I test drove the car once and the brakes seemed a little funny. I asked and they told me they had just changed the brake pads and it might just be from them not being used much. Super excited to drive my new car, I drove off the lot with a smile. That smile was short lived. After about a week of driving it, the check engine light was on. I took it to my personal mechanic and he checked the brake pads and said they needed to be changed immediately because they were so worn. Surprised, I called these car hustlers and asked why this happened. The answer I recieved was "the sticker says as is". How shady. Took advantage of a single mother with a full time job and two kids to take to school and they BOLD FACE LIED TO ME. After my brake repair and $150 later...the check engine light was on yet again. And now the car was making a whining sound from one of the belts. I called them back AGAIN and asked if their mechanic could look at it, as I could not run down a belt after 2 weeks of owning the car. I was told I drive too hard and there is nothing they could do. After spending another $300 for parts and labor the check engine light was STILL on. This time saying the coolant level was low. We stopped at a gas station, filled it with 50/50 coolant and water and was on our way. Any person who knows cars knows that you need to fill coolant about every 6-9 months in Arizona if your constantly running the air conditioner. For Washington maybe once a year. 1 week after doing this it says its low again...this time over heating my car. I called the car connection back once again begging for even just a little help as I have dropped about $500 on a new car I have had less then a month. They told me theyre policy does not state they have to maintain anything with the car. This place is an absolute joke. Their employees customer service is extremely poor. And professionalism I give a -10. So now I do not even get to drive the car I pay $395 for a month, and I do not get to drive it until I can replace the alternator that is completely blown. This place is a joke! I purchased a vehicle from them and had them ship it to Southeast Alaska. They claim their great mechanics checked the vehicle over from bumper to bumper. The salesman who drove the car to the ferry says I've never driven a car with rims that big but you might want to get an alignment. Picked the car Chrysler 300 up of the ferry, starts fine but the AIRBAG LIGHT is on. While driving around Ketchikan the passenger in the back gets dripped on, THE MOONROOF LEAKS. The moonroof had leaked so much water into the car that it was pooling on the floor pan under the carpet and eventually took out the COMPUTER, WHICH THE CRAP WARRANTY THEY SOLD ME DIDN'T COVER. The ALIGNMENT the salesman spoke of was actually lower steering shaft, one of the contact points on the U-joint was actually broken along with INNER AND OUTTER TIE-RODS AND UPPER AND LOWER BALL-JOINTS. $4500 Later I have the vehicle I thought I was purchasing in the first place. THIS PLACE SHOULD BE A CAR WASH BECAUSE THAT IS ALL THEY ARE GOOD AT. Hopefully he has found a better place to work but Matt Bardic was a very professional salesman. read more
