My food was OVERCOOKED, to the point where the skin of the shrimp was stuck. Some of my shrimps were sooo soft that as soon as I put it in my mouth it was like it dissolved immediately. It literally took me a minute to remove the skin from the shrimp. Crab legs itself was meatless and couldn't even give me a full claw. Mind you there was only 1 but that 1 was missing about two legs. So we go in at 9:10pm, doors unlocked, a couple at a table and an older male employee walked behind the counter as if he was going to take our order when another younger males says were closed! Went there after a long day before the tropical storm hit, placed my order and got my first free margarita (a little bland but ok) the food arrived and it was a baked fish with shrimp with sauce and green beans. The fish was decent but other than that a total miss. Went back and ordered some gumbo, very thick sauce but it was good, needed more shrimp but overall good. (Rcvd my 2nd free frozen daiquiri) obviously the same batch, just seemed like a frozen icee, my friend had the fried platter and that's what it was fried (burnt) greasy mess , but what she expected but the staff was very friendly so we cleaned the table for them since they were preparing to close. The ambiance was ok nothing special. Food was delicious and steaming hot. My aunt got the catfish and I had the mild crab leg broil with garlic butter sauce. The catfish was soo soft and just the right amount of crunch on the outside but juicy, flaky and tender on the inside. Terrible customer service! A group of friends and myself went to patronize the Catch restaurant in Willowbrook, and have the worst experience ever! We entered at least 45 minutes before they closed, and they treated us like they did not want to serve us as they greeted us with, "We close at 9:30 instead of a welcome to Catch." My friends were drawn there because of the free daiquiris, but they reported that they are shutting the machine down and would not serve the free refills. Then they proceeded to mop the floor around us, one of my friends fell because the floor was extremely wet, and instead of showing any compassion, they laughed when we reported the fall, refused to write an incident report, and also refused to give their names. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. The food was not that great, but the customer service made it absolutely horrible. read more
