They were busy, but not at capacity, so the delay felt excessive. Every single round of drinks took a long time to order, and we had to repeatedly remind them that we were still waiting. It was frustrating to feel like we had to fight just to be noticed. There didn't seem to be much urgency, and at times it felt like they simply didn't care that we were there. I also sensed some favoritism toward regulars. While I absolutely appreciate being taken care of as a regular somewhere, I also believe that every paying guest deserves attentiveness and respect. On the plus side, I did end up making new friends at the bar. We bonded over camaraderie -- and commiserating over feeling ignored. The drinks are cheap, the food is affordable, and the food itself was actually great. The drinks were okay... but I definitely felt like I got the $5 experience.
