I have mixed feelings on this place. The decor and design is really, really cool with comfortable chairs. However, I have come here twice and had two completely different experiences. My first time was with my mom and sister on Friday, July 17th. We got seated and got our drinks within 10 minutes. The charcuterie board was quite the variety and very good as was their special peach arugula pizza. Then I went last night with my wife super excited to show her this place. She loved the decor and atmosphere, but it took almost 20 minutes to get our first drinks. We ordered a charcuterie board that didn't even resemble the one we had before. It wasn't great. Their special was steak bites with a blue cheese dressing. It was so raw that I couldn't eat it. They were having a private event in the front place so maybe they were too busy to send us the good stuff, but we had finished our first drinks 10 minutes before we got asked if we wanted another round and then it took over 10 minutes to get those and this place wasn't even half full while we were there. After paying the $119 plus tip for two appetizers and two drinks each, I am not sure how motivated I will be to rush back there, though I will probably give them the benefit of the doubt. Our group of 6 had such a great time at The Farmer & The Bootlegger, such a nice, intimate spot that's perfect for a date night or small group hangout. We tried a couple cocktails, including the French Orchard, Spanish Pear, and Laundry Day. All three drinks were smooth and lovely to drink. The French Orchard had a strong pear-forward flavor that was really pleasant, and the Spanish Pear was equally balanced and refreshing. The Laundry Day was fun and unique, it came with a playful air bubble on top, which made the drink feel interactive and creative. Personal preference, but I wish the drinks were a tad bit stronger ;) The atmosphere is cozy and dimly lit, which makes it great for conversation. Service was excellent and attentive. Another great perk is that you can order food from the surrounding restaurants, including Cork & Knife and DiCicco's Old Town Clovis, which makes it easy to turn drinks into a full night out. I would give it 6 stars if I could!! A hidden gem- literally!!!! Really had that speakeasy feel as you walk in the front cover shop and through the kitchen to get to the back. It was interesting to find the secret entrance via Cork and knife, but very disappointing that they didn't ask for the secret password, which we were super excited to use. The vibe and the decor was excellent inside and the service was nice as well. The cocktails were on the sweeter side. Very limited option on the menu. This place has a very cool 20's vibe, the decor was spot on. we went on a friday night, The table we sat at was not the not comfortable, it was basically a bar top with stools. was not a fan. It was extremely loud like a bar down the street not a speak easy. There was a loud obnoxious party in the back, even when they turned on the red light to be quiet they were still loud and annoying. Not the bars fault. But it was still a little too loud for a speak easy. drinks were ok, the wife really liked hers, they did not have very many options, and when we asked about anything off menu the mixologist could make all we were told is we have a full bar. not very crafty. We will give this place another shot but Bespoke is definitely more catered to crafting off menu drinks to your liking and way quieter. read more

I could barely hear the person across from me or even next to me. We had to basically yell at each-other to have a conversation. For me it was not relaxing and put a big damper on the experience.
